      it is possible but in far future and only if big names come forward and talk about this, but the opposites happens, big names talk in favour of high working hours. But stupid people like Murthy who after office get in their chaufer driven luxury cars and go home where maids will serve them healthy food and juice in their air conditioned homes and soft cushion and mattress.

    Only way to protect yourself from toxic work culture is save as much money as you can. Secondly, just turn a blind eye to what is going on in the office. Don't be negative towards management, you will never win. Don't discuss you personal life with colleagues and manager.

    In India there is so much population that you can be replaces easily if you dont put up the work !!
    India does outsourced work so without making people work hard in India , you cannot pay employees the same salary else noone will send Jobs to India !!
    Cheap labour is the reason why they send Jobs to India !!

    Jo log sarkari naukari karte hain woh toh majboor hi hote hain. I'm currently working at govt residential school and I just cannot wait to tell you the kind of torture we are being subjected to just because most of us are from lower middle class or middle class backgrounds. Jo pehle private sector me hota tha ab woh sarkari sectors me bhi ho raha hai. The toxic work atmosphere is everywhere.

    Working culture at Chola finance is also frustrating. Morning starts at 6 AM with concall & ends around 10 PM again with concall & multiple concalls during the day. My friend is working & is fed up of this & has recently put his paper's.

    I am facing this in my new job. Not even getting time to have food. Working more than 14 hours even then not being able to manage work. Planning to resign this week. Nothing is more important than my inner peace. If I am not able to have my food on time, no point doing a job.
    Edit: What I tried to convey from my comment is that if you are facing such issues then you should not continue in such a work environment where you are being treated like a machine. Less salary with less noise is much better than a high salary with no work life balance.

    आज ऐसी स्थिति नहीं है। Gen Z बच्चे लाइफ बैलेंस पर ध्यान देते हैं। और नारायण मूर्ति जैसे पुराने लोग वर्क स्ट्रेस बनाए रखना चाहते हैं।

    Very correct. I realised this after putting in 10 years of hard work. Then I pretended that I don't know much. I could get away with this since I was in a central government public sector I also got promotions and had only three transfers. The last one was my choice posting from where I retired.😃

    Very realistic and practical advice Sangwanji! Hope your message reaches a critical mass of exploited young employees and there is a change towards higher productivity. I pray that young people in their 20s and 30s get free time from work to invest in further education and training so that they can overcome the (generally)poor education quality that they’ve received here in India.
    And also free time to start their own trades or free time to do nothing at all.

    'Work life balance' is applicable only for workers.
    So the management should understand who are workers and then decide for whom 'work life balance' is applicable.
    How can the promoters and top management compare themselves with workers.
    In fact the promoters who are not bothered about work life balance are harming the nation by not providing employment to number of unemployed even though they have work for them.

    The idea that more work creates more money is only applicable in the manual labor class and blue collar jobs. Not in the white collar jobs, where it is the brain's depth of innovative ideas that should produce more growth. However, a large number of firms have ended up producing more menial labor in white collar jobs, including designing long PPTs for clients to create very visually attractive but manipulative presentations. Most probably because of lack of actual innovative ideas but just a focus on drawing and retaining as many affluent clients as possible, including very wealthy or high profile international clients. Many of the international clients aren't smart enough either to decipher manipulative PPTs and put and end to contracts with such types of firms.

    May be we were born 200 years earlier. India is a developing country and has its own challenges. There is always a workforce that is ready to replace you if you don't work hard. The only way to survive in any job or relationship is that you don't let die your need for someone. If you are not needed, you will be replaced. Same applies to a relationship, and same applies to a job. I'm also a corporate majdoor 🙏

    I am glad meri company me aisa nhi hai work culture, lekin paise kam milte. But issue ye hai ki jyada tar companies ka work culture accha nhi hai isi liye lagta thik hai. Manager is good, learning is happening and no burnout thing. Just kam paise milte so I am confused whether switch or not because paise nhi Bach pa rahe. Bus jarurat hi puri ho rahi

      ​@@Successzone1234there are lots of ways, first free yourself from things like debt and responsibilities, have own home , i beleive people who comes from outside like village they also have home in villages and city walo par to hoga hi, be a family guy, ghar se jude raho taaki bure time me ghar wale accept kare, or saari companies ek jaisi hoti hai, so pehle se fit karke chalo dimaag me ke ek time limit tak naukri karo sirf 35-40 years age tak max to max , life is very big and hugs outside a private company

    I was expecting this grom you btw sir. I just want to know your advice on the most popular advice "Money is not important. When you start career , dont demand the employer. Take the job even if he offers 8k! You will get to learn a lot " . In my opinion one shouldnt accept this kind of roles for low salary even if it is at the beginning of the career. Because someone taking up the job will be having a family to take care, he need money to commute to workplace. The one who offers 8k salary wont give you medical help. They say you can learn but wont put you in good projects but utilise you only for support roles. After the probation period they will find faults in you and throw you out of work. You will be already exhausted that you will neither learn nor earn. After that job when you go and apply other jobs, they dont give you any shit for your experience. Even if they give, they ask you to work for 10k saying we are paying 2k greater than previous one.with 8k-10k salary leave about fulfilling dreams you cant do anything after spending money for groceries. If its a guy , when he go to see a girl for marriage, he gets rejected seeing his salary. So sir tell me should one have to settle for low salary at the beginning of the career?

    As genral manager in a company. I am 21 years old and my company is larger equal to a bedroom. But my boss wants 20x orders than capacity within very less time. So he avoids investment of computer, notice board and wall clock. And I am extremely frustrated due to that.

    In some jobs specially in government sector, over work load is required for greater good instead of profit. Ex Rail, Health, Armed Forces, Petroleum, Core Engineering, Factories running 24x7, etc

    I never let my team members stay back in office just to work as per client's timezone...we did touch up calls at a time convenient to my team members as well as client.
    If you manage well, you can do your work in office hours only.

    Sir practical tips bataiye please. The content is good but make one more video on the same topic providing practical tips with respect to specific situations to prevent ourselves from burning out and getting affected by the power dynamics at work. So for example; ‘how do i say no to senior if they call me beyond work hours’ or ‘how build resilience in such situation?’. We youth sometimes gets crushed between the societal taboos and respecting seniors, no body at work seems to care about juniors well-being.
