Working culture at Chola finance is also frustrating. Morning starts at 6 AM with concall & ends around 10 PM again with concall & multiple concalls during the day. My friend is working & is fed up of this & has recently put his paper's.
I am facing this in my new job. Not even getting time to have food. Working more than 14 hours even then not being able to manage work. Planning to resign this week. Nothing is more important than my inner peace. If I am not able to have my food on time, no point doing a job. Edit: What I tried to convey from my comment is that if you are facing such issues then you should not continue in such a work environment where you are being treated like a machine. Less salary with less noise is much better than a high salary with no work life balance.

Very correct. I realised this after putting in 10 years of hard work. Then I pretended that I don't know much. I could get away with this since I was in a central government public sector I also got promotions and had only three transfers. The last one was my choice posting from where I retired.😃

I pray that young people in their 20s and 30s get free time from work to invest in further education and training so that they can overcome the (generally)poor education quality that they’ve received here in India. And also free time to start their own trades or free time to do nothing at all.
'Work life balance' is applicable only for workers. So the management should understand who are workers and then decide for whom 'work life balance' is applicable. How can the promoters and top management compare themselves with workers. In fact the promoters who are not bothered about work life balance are harming the nation by not providing employment to number of unemployed even though they have work for them.
The idea that more work creates more money is only applicable in the manual labor class and blue collar jobs. Not in the white collar jobs, where it is the brain's depth of innovative ideas that should produce more growth. However, a large number of firms have ended up producing more menial labor in white collar jobs, including designing long PPTs for clients to create very visually attractive but manipulative presentations. Most probably because of lack of actual innovative ideas but just a focus on drawing and retaining as many affluent clients as possible, including very wealthy or high profile international clients. Many of the international clients aren't smart enough either to decipher manipulative PPTs and put and end to contracts with such types of firms.

I was expecting this grom you btw sir. I just want to know your advice on the most popular advice "Money is not important. When you start career , dont demand the employer. Take the job even if he offers 8k! You will get to learn a lot " . In my opinion one shouldnt accept this kind of roles for low salary even if it is at the beginning of the career. Because someone taking up the job will be having a family to take care, he need money to commute to workplace. The one who offers 8k salary wont give you medical help. They say you can learn but wont put you in good projects but utilise you only for support roles. After the probation period they will find faults in you and throw you out of work. You will be already exhausted that you will neither learn nor earn. After that job when you go and apply other jobs, they dont give you any shit for your experience. Even if they give, they ask you to work for 10k saying we are paying 2k greater than previous one.with 8k-10k salary leave about fulfilling dreams you cant do anything after spending money for groceries. If its a guy , when he go to see a girl for marriage, he gets rejected seeing his salary. So sir tell me should one have to settle for low salary at the beginning of the career?

Very correct. I realised this after putting in 10 years of hard work. Then I pretended that I don't know much. I could get away with this since I was in a central government public sector I also got promotions and had only three transfers. The last one was my choice posting from where I retired.😃

I pray that young people in their 20s and 30s get free time from work to invest in further education and training so that they can overcome the (generally)poor education quality that they’ve received here in India.

So the management should understand who are workers and then decide for whom 'work life balance' is applicable.
How can the promoters and top management compare themselves with workers.
In fact the promoters who are not bothered about work life balance are harming the nation by not providing employment to number of unemployed even though they have work for them.
The idea that more work creates more money is only applicable in the manual labor class and blue collar jobs. Not in the white collar jobs, where it is the brain's depth of innovative ideas that should produce more growth. However, a large number of firms have ended up producing more menial labor in white collar jobs, including designing long PPTs for clients to create very visually attractive but manipulative presentations. Most probably because of lack of actual innovative ideas but just a focus on drawing and retaining as many affluent clients as possible, including very wealthy or high profile international clients. Many of the international clients aren't smart enough either to decipher manipulative PPTs and put and end to contracts with such types of firms.

May be we were born 200 years earlier. India is a developing country and has its own challenges. There is always a workforce that is ready to replace you if you don't work hard. The only way to survive in any job or relationship is that you don't let die your need for someone. If you are not needed, you will be replaced. Same applies to a relationship, and same applies to a job. I'm also a corporate majdoor 🙏

I was expecting this grom you btw sir. I just want to know your advice on the most popular advice "Money is not important. When you start career , dont demand the employer. Take the job even if he offers 8k! You will get to learn a lot " . In my opinion one shouldnt accept this kind of roles for low salary even if it is at the beginning of the career. Because someone taking up the job will be having a family to take care, he need money to commute to workplace. The one who offers 8k salary wont give you medical help. They say you can learn but wont put you in good projects but utilise you only for support roles. After the probation period they will find faults in you and throw you out of work. You will be already exhausted that you will neither learn nor earn. After that job when you go and apply other jobs, they dont give you any shit for your experience. Even if they give, they ask you to work for 10k saying we are paying 2k greater than previous one.with 8k-10k salary leave about fulfilling dreams you cant do anything after spending money for groceries. If its a guy , when he go to see a girl for marriage, he gets rejected seeing his salary. So sir tell me should one have to settle for low salary at the beginning of the career?
As genral manager in a company. I am 21 years old and my company is larger equal to a bedroom. But my boss wants 20x orders than capacity within very less time. So he avoids investment of computer, notice board and wall clock. And I am extremely frustrated due to that.

We youth sometimes gets crushed between the societal taboos and respecting seniors, no body at work seems to care about juniors well-being.
