What are your thoughts on the "waffles should be square with many small indentations vs waffles should be round with a small number of large indentations" debate? I have known this to escalate to syrup attacks and soft butter splat-downs. My 60s vintage waffle iron is round with small indentations, which doesn't seem to please either of the extremist's factions. I can usually keep the peace by threatening to withhold the boysenberry syrup from any party that won't shut up and eat.
