    This video was so helpful. I spent two days resetting my Roku TV, with no luck on fixing the problem. Five minutes after I watch this video it was fixed. Thank you for your insight. It was very helpful.

      FOR EVERYONE HAVING THIS ISSUE AFTER WATCHING THIS VIDEO PAY ATTENTION: Do as he says here if you are still having the issue call your Wifi Provider tell them what is going on they will be able to reset the wifi settings and set up the tv to the wifi after that just login in like you normally would and it will work. i just did this after 2 days of no tv everything is fine now.

    Is there anywhere we can vote this as the YT video of the year? Straight to the point and easy to follow instructions as everyone said. I used to connect my Roku TV to the hostpot on my phone but then I changed my phone and the TV wouldn't connect to the new one. This tutorial fixed that. Eternally grateful.

    For those that this didn’t work for, unplug your tv, while it’s unplugged hold the power button for 45 seconds then restart your router, plug the tv back in then turn on!

    TY TY TY. I am a 74 yr old woman, who lives alone. When my ROKU TV wouldn’t receive a signal I was devastated. I thought, “Oh No!, I am going to need to buy a new TV bc the one I have in my bedroom is dead. I logically figured it had to be a signal issue, bc I was getting something, like visuals - but they would just scroll and scroll at 99% - but NOT bring the visual picture of. When I went to You Tube, usually I hear the voice promotion of the video that is on the screen - but nothing was happening like the usual way. I then picked up my iPad tablet and went to RUclips search and put my hysterical message in about “No Signal coming to my ROKU TV” or something that brought up,your video… WHAT A LIFE SAVER YOU ARE!!!!
    What your commenters and you should know is this - I recently moved to California from Midwest and know virtually NO ONE HERE - I have no one to call who could’ve come over today to help me figure this out. If not for you, your video and your excellent instructions I would,have had a horrible day trying to figure out what went wrong…probably would,have to buy a new ROKU TCL TV , et al.
    You saved this little old lady’s sanity, money and months of mental health visits to a shrink trying to adapt to this WiFI world.
    I can’t thank you enough as well as YOU TUBE!

    2:46 shoot I’ve gone through this process several times and the enable pings continues to display. Just to see if it would help the second, third, fourth time I would switch from disable back to enable. Then I back button to the menu and it still says not connected. I scrolled through the comments to see if I could find additional instructions for those of us it didn’t work for…. I had trouble finding thumbs down reports! Any suggestions? Thank you for a well done video.

      @Chloë J be sure you have a correct password. The password from your modem. Once that was applied the Wi-Fi connection returned.

    I can’t thank you enough. Sincerely Roku should direct people to you and pay you a million bucks. I have 7 Roku devices (hubby is sports crazy) and they all acted up after 11.5 update. I’ve spent 3 days and nights trying to figure out why my network is strong and rokus said they had an excellent signal but there was buffering to change a channel. Had to log in to Hulu every darn time. Couldn’t play Apple TV or other channels. Even factory reset one of them to no avail. Chat texted with Roku and Hulu. Everyone blamed the other. I read about the secret menu and found screens but not this one. You are amazing and generous for sharing. I’m subscribed for life. TY TY TY TY

    The only thing different on mine was the screen prior to the forced restart, it wasn't offset like the one in he vid. My genie went a little haywire yesterday so I think there is a connection. At any rate, the double blinking has stopped. Excellent instructional vid, thanks!!

    While this didn’t work for me, in that same secret menu under wireless I tired driver reset and (🤞🏻) so far it seems to be working. Never could have found it without this tutorial !

      Roku is a piece of shit. I tried everything on their site; even did a factory reset; downloaded the newest software; followed all steps in this video - still doesn't work. Every other device in my house can connect to the same wifi but the Roku says connected to WiFi / no Internet. Two months of this BS. I'm about ready to take a sledgehammer to this TV and NEVER buy another POS Roku device.

    It worked! Thank you. I was ready to return the tv after the Hisense Customer Service Rep advised me that the router has to be within 10-15 feet of the TV. Keep up the fantastic work!

    First I tried what was suggested in the video (enable network pings and system reboot)
    That didn't work.
    While doing all that, I noticed there was a "Wireless Secret Screen" in one of the menus also.
    I did the "5 Home, FF, Play, RW, Play, FF" to get back to the secret screen again.
    Selected "Wireless Secret Screen"
    Selected "chip reset test"
    After I did that, it immediately connected to my wireless network.
    I hope that helps someone else.

    OH MY GOD YOU ARE A TOTAL GENIUS!!! HOW DID YOU EVEN KNOW TO DO THIS!!! ONE THOUSAND THUMBS UP!!! my roku wouldn't find networks... it kept saying looking for networks but it wouldn't find them. It was driving me crazy trying to find a solution. Came here as a last resort and youtubed the words "roku searching for networks" AND BOY YOU ARE A TOTAL GENIUS!!!!

    well, it worked and then updated the software automatically and then went back to the same problem. it could not connect or even locate my wifi.

    Thank you for the video! It worked for me but I had to do one more step, which was to restart my modem and then my TV worked just fine. Good luck to anyone else going thru the process!

      I was having the same issue. Nothing was working for me. I watched another video and decided to try it. The guy said to try unplugging your device and plugging it and plugging it in to where there was a better connection so I did just that unplugged my living room roku and plugged in the one that I couldn’t get a connection on went to connect my wireless and went to Hulu and it took a second but it connected so then I backed out of it unplugged it and brought it back to my room. I clicked on Hulu walked away for a quick minute came back and it was working. Thank God! I had tried everything and it just wasn’t working but I just knew this was going to work this time. Lol

    our tv did not work at first but then we went back into the settings and to connect and then it worked...wow, that was crazy, when you started pressing all those buttons, i thought you were joking...thanks for your genius!!!!

    Unplugging my TV sometimes works. Not always. Didnt work right now, hence me watching videos. I got frustrated, and held the power button for a long time till a screen popped up asking if I wanted to shut down. Now it works 🤯

    Thank you so much I did it with a universal remote I was shocked it worked. Don't need a regular remote.
