Bought my 2014 Q50 with 30K miles for $18,000 back in April 2021. Fast forward til now shes at 70K miles with over $20K in mods. Absolutely love the car, you've helped me so much with your videos. I'm even rocking the SCS exhaust to this day. I'm in too deep pockets to even try to sell it. My future plans would be to upgrade to the VR trans and Boost it. Appreciate your videos !!!

Fr. I just got my 2015 q50s. I love it . I just bought it after my 2012 Camry V6 got totaled by a bitch who ran a stop sign. I finally got a q50s and one my favorite channel says sell it. wild

I had my Q50 for 3 years dumped loads of money in aftermarket parts as well as a new long block (VR30 problems 😩). Bought it for 22k back in 21’ and sold a few months ago for 20k. Just recently purchased a 2020 BMW M340i xdrive and couldn’t be happier!

Mannn sad to see the q50 go. I sold my q50 for a pontiac g8. Its been a blast to drive. Everytime I see a clean q50 I always think about getting another one. Would still go VQ again.

3.7 G, Z or Q is just such a great value. Rock solid reliable AND fun to drive. But!, the 3.7 was basically maxed out from the factory. Suspension and final drive mods will really shine, but FI isnt practical and squeezing the last few hp you can from the motor isnt very cost effective either. If you wanted more power, you definitely made the right choice going to a 'vette. I still love my 3.7 7at coupe, coilovers, sways, bbk, and 3.69 diff swap. Ill keep it around for now. I just accept the fact that my cars not fast from a dig, but still make me grin on the backroads

@@J.Nev. def do your research first. The good ratios are from manual cars so swapping into a 7at usually means swapping parts. Also, g and z have different output "stub shafts". Then the whole vlsd vs open thing. There's a lot to consider, but once you really understand the differences and what parts need to be swapped, it'll bolt right in and you'll love it

@@SpeedCultureStudios loll no I do, I like cars but like I’ll never look up how to install downpipes on an m4 for example, but I’ve looked up a lota install videos or just general information videos on the q, which your channel has helped me with a buncha times btw.. maybe I’m just different too since the q60 is my dream car I was lucky enough to actually own. But in general I do love cars. I guess I can say more jdm than anything else too.
forced induction costing 10k+ on a q50 is a terrible misconception. just went rear mount single turbo for well under 6k. 550whp for less than 30k car included. never selling this thing.
Then when you have to replace the trans it’s another 3+k

PLEASE GET A 3.0T the content would go crazy there’s so much more you can do with a turbo car and turbos are best for content views if thats your objective!! Also i would love to see what your vision would be on a 3.0t!! Also would love more clips of the scs custom on a 3.0t!!

I’ve had a good run with mine until this year. Valve body went out and that was $5k, then shortly after the front differential and shafts blew apart. Holy crap, I could’ve bought another for the price of those two issues. I got it in 20 with 25k miles and now it has over 140k on it. I was driving a minimum of 33miles each way to work so it’s mostly highway miles. I’m about to sell mine as well. I did get some good info from your videos. Good luck to you on the next projects. I haven’t decided what mine will be yet.

Sometimes that happens. I do miss my G35 and G37, but I’ve always moved on to the next generation. I’m really enjoying my Q60 Red Sport and plan to keep it, but you never know when my mind might change. I’ll still enjoy your posts and look forward to seeing what you do with your Vette.

I had a 2018 Q50 3.0t and traded it for the Genesis G70 3.3t and it was an absolute upgrade in every way possible . To this day it’s the best steering reel I’ve ever had in a car and the car was more engaging to drive then any modern bmw
I just purchased a 2015 with only 40,000 original miles and stoked to have only paid 16k with it having one older owner who babied it, and it had only been taken to Infinity for oil and all other maintenance. Plan to keep her for a while like I had my 2003 G35 coupe for 14 years. I am pretty sure I could sale it and get more money but there is not really another used car I want and especially around that price. Thoughts?

I really appreciate it. I installed test pipes on my 3.7 Q 2 weeks ago and noticed maybe the next day Whenever I drive the car hard I smell oil burning then it goes away after a few seconds. Ive had it on a lift (no leaks anywhere) I’ve also been checking it every day and it doesn’t look like it’s burning, atleast at a fast rate that’s noticeable. I never smelled oil with the factory cats so it’s just weird. I don’t like smelling anything burning while driving😂😂
sorry to hear u sold ur Q50 u could of kept it n got another car i recently finished paying off my Q n u were right about the transmission it was the valve body n speed sensor i took it to dealer and they fix it cost me $4,500 im picking it up tomorrow i wish i had money to buy cars left n right but unfortunately i dont my Q is my every day driver n my show car when i hook it up

My q50 hybrid 2015 HV junction box failed and the compressor went out as well, they charging me a shit ton of money to get it fix. 😢 any ideas?

it's your money....that said, buying and selling cars on a frequent basis is a quick way to be poor. I don't spend money on mods. Just good maintenance. I like my HYSA at %5.30 compounded daily. Cars are wants. too many needs today to waste money frivoulously. I no longer have my image tied to an auto. Now i can spend money on other things instead of making the auto finance company wealthy!

I love GTRs, but they are expensive even as used. I respect his opinion, and there are a lot of other cars out there. Please DO NOT sell your Q50 or Q60s! They are great cars for the buck. They also can be easily modded. Just get a second car. My G70 looks super nice sitting next to my Q50 RS.😉 The G70 can also be easily modded. 😉

Yupper, pretty much keeping my RS. All these newer cars r jus Junk Junk Junk. None of them staying on the road. I've seen spankin' brand new '24+ yr cars being recalled so much. My '21 has been good running no problems. My '05 Nissan altima SE-R went from 22 miles to 305,423 miles and only thing i changed was the battery & starter. Too bad this lady straight Stop in the middle highway while my son was driving. And a semi hit him from the rear and he did 4 360's and hit the guardrail. Lucky he walked away with a sore back. Older cars r better these computer on wheels now jus Suck...Good luck.. Keep rollin' Stay Happy....

Just because I had a Q50 on the channel doesn’t mean only Q50 owners watch the channel or that my videos are shown to only Q50 owners lol. Videos go out to everyone on RUclips. I have c6 videos with 60k views. BMW videos with 60k views. Jeep vids with tens of thousands etc. I chatted with YT support and the guy even said it seemed strange. When you do this for a little while, you can see the patterns. You can watch the growth as more videos are uploaded. But you can also see as soon as something strange happens.

Not a mistake at all. Like I said in the video-life is too short. A mistake would be to stick with one single vehicle for too long. Also said in the video - I got 18,500 for it and only paid 20k for it 4 years earlier. I drove for basically free for 4 years. Big win
