I've been trying to get a shop to install this system and every estimate has been 600 or more. One shop has done this same set up for 800 on multiple cars recently. So this system is very popular here in West Palm Beach. Just wish I had a good shop like yours to do it.
Your set up sounds 10x better than the $2000 shockwave system. Good job. I can't wait to get my 2020 Q50 RS because I'll be duplicating this. I have a feeling it sounds so good is because you are using aluminized pipe instead of stainless steel which I feel leads to drone. I had 92 SHO with it's lovely 3.0L Yamaha built motor. I built a custom 2.5" exhaust with flex tubing which was necessary to keep the system from yanking itself apart due to the transversely mounted motor and aluminized Dynomax turbo mufflers. The system made the V6 sounds like a V8, everyone loved it and it sounded way better than the Borla system made for the car, which was stainless steel, and was soooo much cheaper, cost me around $150 to do as opposed to $1000 for the Borla. It allowed the car to breathe and it was able to run 165mph with a tune.

Great vid as always. Thanks for revisiting this. You covered all the bases. Im still looking for a shop. My local thief quoted me $1200 install...😂. Hope you n d family all doing well....keep d Q love coming !
I built this exhaust for my Q50 but found there to be good amount of resonance in cabin in the 2000-2700 RPM range. So, I added some 1/4 wave resonator pipes to each branch after the x-pipe resonator and it's way quieter in cabin at those specific RPM ranges. I used ~27" as my desired length for the 2" resonators. Posting for those who might want to eliminate their potential resonance. 27" length is only for ~125-135 Hz resonance...
Some sound deadener on the trunk floor goes a long way as well. But 2000-2700 is a wide range for drone with this system. I’m a bit surprised. After about 2 full years of breaking in, my drone range with resonated test pipes is 1900 - 2100rpm.
Hi Sean, I'm looking to do some quarter wave resonators as well. Do you mind me asking how much you paid to have them done? Provided you took them to a shop and didn't do them yourself. Cheers!
@@alf2633 I had a 'friend' discount and helped so cost will vary but IIRC the tubing was less than $150 and labor was 2 hours max. I think all in I was around $900-1000 but didn't get 'crush' bent tubing. I'd suspect 1/4 wave resonators to be $200-300 installed.
@@seancallahan2730 Hi Sean! I am having exactly the same issue on my car, installed 2 days ago and the ~2400rpm drone in the city just kills me, I would not even mind if it was a bit quieter as well all togedher. Can you name please which resonator exactly you used that worked good for our issue? I could not find one for my car based on your details to put between the borla and the Upower resonators in the end. Thank you!
Ahh man I feel like you made this video just for me 😂 thanks a lot ! ( I know I’m not the only one blowing up your comments about how to perfect the SCS set up)
I have been inspired by this video so I'm actually doing the same setup on my 3.5 Altima. I just put on a jemini performance ypipe recently so hopefully I can achieve a new sound. Great informational videos.
@@SpeedCultureStudios Just purchased all the stuff. I'm thinking of adding B0100-Q50S2, Infiniti axle back exhaust, After the Flow FX for hopefully a bit deeper tone. I'll take vids and link them to you when finished

What is the name and location of your exhaust shop if u don't me asking? Located in Va. Have family out your way. Shop looks like they did a good job. Proper alignment and placement. Looks good. Thank you! Shop is Inman Muffler in Inman SC. They are good guys and car guys so they care about doing good work. Check them out on Facebook, they get some awesome cars going through that shop!!
Love the videos man. I've got a 2013 g37x S sedan. Thinking about adding kinetix high flow cats to the speed culture cat back system. Would it be really loud, wife told me not to get ridiculous? One more, it wouldn't need a tune with just this set up, would it?? Thanks brother, keep pumping out these videos.
You the man bro thanks 🙏 I’ll definitely send clips when I get it done right now Im still using red sport exhaust Im going to put it out on the market if anyone wants it very clean
Hello, I’m planning to get this setup on my car and I’m concerned about few things 1) Does this setup effect on performance or milage? 2) Should I get a tune after this exhaust?
@@SpeedCultureStudios I have one more question. There is a brace (metal plate) underneath the center of the body in the exact same place where you have placed the Borla muffler (as showe in the video). Have you bolted it back at the place after your custom exhaust?
Awesome video! If I just order those parts you listed and bring them to the shop, should they be able to take care of the rest? I don’t know much about exhausts, so I wouldn’t know how to tell them what I want.
Yeah they should know, but you should call first and get an estimate. Just tell them you're needing a custom catback system and that you have all the major components and they just need to tie it all together. If they are a decent shot, they'll know what to do and it should only be a 1 - 2 hour job.
You can install down pipes if you want, but everything is in the description. You likely won’t feel any gains from a catback system until the car is tuned
Speed Culture Studios after the exhaust getting a tune...do you have any recommendations? I’m not getting a HE as i live in toronto (canada) heat soaking isn’t a thing up here.
2 questions 1. is the performance gain from running test pipes versus running stock cats significant? (i know it won't be as loud) 2. if i were to install this with test pipes and not tune it for 1-2 months, would that damage my car in any way?
You could expect probably a 10hp difference after tuning with cats vs test pipes. Obviously cats keep you street legal. People have installed test pipes and waiting a few months to tune. It’s not ideal but the car would likely survive if you don’t race it too hard in that period.
I forget what kind of rest pipes you have. I have Berks and I might be going with this set up because of cost and it sounds great. Between going borla and magnaflow
I am doing a close version of your exhaust. And I actually had it on my coupe previously as well. On the coupe I first just had a muffler delete, keeping the stock resonators but that was too loud so I got the flowFX put in after the resonators. And on my sedan that I currently have, I’m replacing both the muffler and resonators with the flowFX.
@@SpeedCultureStudios I will definitely be taking video clips of the sedan once it's done. I absolutely loved the sound of the coupe but I kept finding myself wishing it was just a little bit more aggressive, which is why I'm not keeping the stock resonators. Also, in comparing videos of coupes and sedans with muffler deletes, the sedan resonators seem to dampen the sound a lot more than the coupe resonators.
@@boomerspeed0124 That's interesting that you're hearing a difference. I do not think there is any difference in the exhaust systems between the coupes and sedans other than overall length, which is still only a few inches as far as I know.
@@SpeedCultureStudios Hmmm that's interesting. I know for some reason on the sedan, the axleback has a ring clamp style connection instead of flanges. And due to this it necks down to a very small diameter at the connection. Most axleback muffler deletes that I've seen also have this narrow neck so maybe that's making a difference in the sound? Either way I'm taking the resonators off anyway so I'm not too concerned about it since I won't have that connection there anymore.
Hello, been watching for some time now and love the build! i was wondering if the Magnaflow dula in dual out x-flow muffler would give the same/similar result. Its a lot easier to comeby where I live. any help would be appreciated thanks!
about to pull the trigger on this! i already have a muffler delete + resonated test pipes. gonna do the borla muffler first and see how i like it. then go with the resonators if i want to tone in down more. in your opinion how would JUST the borla muffler aspect do (added to a system with resonated test pipes, stock resonators, and muffler delete). appreciate all your vids
Adding the borla and test pipes will sound good I’m sure. The factory resonators are pretty strong. The only thing is that you would be keeping the 2.2” diameter pipe from the borla back so you wouldn’t get the same flow. Might make some nice torque numbers though!
I think it would be dope if you made these and sold them officially as speed culture studio(scs) cat back exhaust. A lot of people support and have the same setup (including myself) but they all sounds totally different.
It’s just video and location that makes them sound different. But yes, it would be great to sell a complete system. It just takes a ton of work and a ton of money to get something developed. Not as simple as it sounds
Hey! quick question, i have a 3.7, is it worth doing if you are only willing to install it on stock cats? i see some of your more recent comments saying its similiar to stock sound with cats. i just want a good exhuast note as well as a boost in loudness. Thanks appreciate it i love all your videos, youre the man!
I got this set up done with a pair of high flow cats a couple weeks back. It's been great and made me fall in love with the car all over again. However, I noticed that water drips from the HFCs to cat-back flange connection on start up. Is that normal? Or does that mean that i have an exhaust leak? It also smells like exhaust fumes from the engine bay on start up, so leads me to wonder if that is an exhaust leak, or is that to be expected with a custom cat-back + HFCs?
@@SpeedCultureStudios I do have the Z1 gaskets installed already. I'll probably have the bolts re-tightened and hopefully that solves the issue. Thanks!
Did you heat wrap your down pipe? I noticed your y-pipe or section that represents your y-pipe isn’t wrapped anymore like your previous video. Has that caused any added heat soak or heat under and inside the cabin of the car? Have you noticed less torque or acceleration do to less heat scavenging?
My test pipes are wrapped. The y pipe was wrapped only to prevent heat transfer into the cabin, but that has not been an issue at all. You will not notice a power difference with or without heat wrap.
Awesome Video. Very informative. I have a Q70 3.7 awd. I am getting ready to install ISR longtube headers but need to choose my exhaust first. I LOVE the sound of your ride. Any recommendations, or should i simply go isr Headers into the exact set up you recommended in this video as shown on your ride? Thank you for sharing the knowledge so clearly! 🙌🏻.
I personally would just go from headers right into this setup. If you're looking for a bit more of an aggressive sound, I would maybe just use the borla and leave the flowfx resonators out. It's a V8 so they sound a bit different than the v6 and don't always require additional resonators.
@@SpeedCultureStudios Appreciate the advice! I have the v6 in mine, same engine I believe as you do in the Q50. Man... i keep watching your initial sound bite in the rain. So good!
Do you think the magnaflow without flowmasters would be TOO loud? or do the flowmasters make a big difference in sound? (don’t wanna go with borla because i heard they go bad a lot lol)
Not too loud necessarily (although subjective) it will be a bit raspy if you have test pipes. Borla has had some quality issues lately - with over 3000 people with this setup I’ve only heard of a few problems lately, but the magnaflow is a solid alternative
I have a replacement Borla 400286 ProXS Muffler in a box (warranty, and for sale) after mine blew a large crack in it after 4 months of daily abuse. My car has RDP's on it and is probably the reason why. After a final kickdown from 7th to 3rd, it was destroyed. Went with a legit exhaust this time.
i have the 3.7 w a catback and testpipes and looking to do my last mod before i tune. Do you recommend AFE or K&N filters? and also do u recommend the Z1 silicone tubes or just keep stock ones?
Res test pipes. Drone is minimal only between 1900-2100 rpm. I drive in manual mode and never have the rpm in that range so no drone. But it’s not quiet. If you’ve never had an aftermarket exhaust with no cats, you won’t understand
Just installed this in NZ (first?) In a g37 sedan. This system sounds so good when driving the car and I love the new aggressive grumble. It's what this engine should have always had. Thanks so much for coming up with this design, first time modifying the car and all your vids have been super helpful. A few Qs... Does this exhaust get quiter over time? Also I do have some pretty decent drone around 2k RPM, the only thing I did different is straight exhaust tips instead of the slanted ones. I still have some FIHFCs to install so I'm hoping the resonators with tone the drone down. Would it be worth adding some extra resonators or do you think the resonated cats will do the job? Would it be worth changing to slanted tips or resonated tips? Thanks!
I just started ordering the parts needed for my G37S sedan. Cant wait to see how it sounds. Im still deciding which test pipes to buy tho. I want something on the slightly louder side. I was also quoted $240 for install!
@@SpeedCultureStudios yeah ive been eyeing some berk resonated. So im getting this installed with my stock cats for the moment, would you still recommend those flex pipes? or just until i get test pipes to reduce vibration?
Ending up buying everything already but spent about $410 with tax + free shipping on everything. Unfortunately it seems that everything IS going up in price so I’d recommend others to buy ASAP lol
@@jjamaya01 we are definitely expecting anything steel/metal related to go up significantly this year. Some exhaust shops have said material prices will double by year end
thanks for all your videos, I just got a black 2014 Q50S and watching your videos gives me plenty of ideas and direction! First thing (well actually second as I blacked it out as 1st thing), I'm now looking to improve the sound; don't want to spend more than 500$ and I don't want check engine light - for noise performance is not the priority, sound is... The old G37 sounded good stock; the 2014/2015 Q50 is way too tamed. I've heard about Rev9 axle back or Ark exhaust...any recommendations for deep sound, no drone, no rasp and not too loud?
@@jalenhampton8036 Just a muffler delete at this point would be good for some added sound! It's cheap and sounds nice with factory catalytic converters still in place.
Thank you I truly appreciate al that ur posting for the q50 community. I would like to send u pics of my 50 and all the upgrades that I was inspired by you just don't now where to send the pics
Keep your eyes out for failing parts after installation and try to pinpoint the different times you put on each exhaust component! I have been dealing with the fiberglass packing from one of my resonators blowing all over my rear bumper since i had the exhaust installed. Now i have a weird metal grinding noise/resonance that is very loud and makes my car sound broken when accelerating at highway speeds :( Currently chasing my own tail around trying to find what could be damaged so i can replace it....
That sucks man. Likely a bad weld inside one of the resonators. Do you have the borla xs? If so, have that pulled and inspected-borla will replace it-or the seller will. That has the most complex internals compared to the round resonators so that would be my thinking.
@@SpeedCultureStudios Yep i do I haven't had the time to pull and inspect any specific components yet but i kind of thought the same thing you mentioned, Biggest exhaust component with the most things that could potentially be damaged. I sent off a few emails this morning waiting to get a response back from both borla and the company i bought the borla from hoping to get some kind of solution asap! Its not fun being embarrassed to pass someone because of your exhaust resonance haha. I miss how pure and clean the exhaust sounded on the first day it was installed.
Hey man love the videos, you've been a big inspiration/help with everything I needed to know about my G. I recently had magnaflow HFC's installed with a muffler delete (the delete was temporary until I figured out what I wanted from the resonators to the rear. My shop also did a custom 2.25" Y pipe to replace my OEM as it was leaking. Would you still recommend this muffler & resonator setup with 2.25" piping as opposed to 2.5" and HFC's instead of instead of test pipes?
Love the videos bro, love your explanation as well. I live in a small island and i found a dual inlet dual outlet muffler from magnaflow that very similar to the Borla one you have. Do you think the tone will be similar and should I go for it or not? I just got my q60s 2015 (VQ37)
Do you only need one set of the flanges because you only need one on each side of the exhaust? Does this come with the assumption your cats or test pipes have a connection site? If they don’t have a connection site would you need two sets in order to have two per side of your exhaust?
What’s the difference between Borla dual exhaust on your description from eBay between the one you listed on Amazon? I want to make sure I get the right one. I’ve notice the dimensions are the same and description but not exhaust just says borla in the muffler and the other says borla pro xs on the muffler. The reason I’m asking is because of the price range between eBay and Amazon
I just bought a Q50 2015, i have a g37s with a custom exhaust that sounds amazing and your sounds even better. However, i was thinking about quad tips for the Q50, do you recommend specific diffuser and tips for that? And how much would i be expecting to pay the shop for a job like this? Thank you!
Shops have been charging from $250-$350. It’s an hour job, so it shouldn’t be more than that. I don’t know about quad tips-you’d probably have to cut the bumper
Towards the end of the video you mention that there’s another pipe needed for the install what kind of pipe is needed? I got quoted $500 for install was yours $150 with the pipes?
With the flanges on Amazon did you order one or two of them? In the pictures they’re bolted together and I was wondering if you could separate them and use them separate or if you had to order 2
Briefly saw the comment that 3.7 AWD guys do this when you were describing the 370Z alternative set up. Am I correct in assuming you meant the Z and 3.7 AWD set up is the same? I have 2015 3.7 AWD and I want to install SCS Custom exhaust. Love the rumble with no rasp!!
Yes correct-although some awd guys have done it just how I’ve done it. Really depends on what they are comfortable with and what the shop is capable of.
Hey, I plan on running this exact setup on my 2013 G37x with stock cats and have just one question. I see that in multiple videos u recommend if u want to opt out the borla, u could use a regular x pipe for more aggressive/louder sound. Will the x pipe cause more rasp? & in ur personal opinion what setup do u like better with stock cats. (x pipe or borla)
With an x pipe and the flow fx resonators it will sound like a muffler delete-just a little smoother. The full system is designed for test pipes, so it’s not a preference thing it’s just about what works for test pipes
is it possible to add an electronic valve to this kind of exhaust system? this sounds so good but i also dont want my car sound too loud all the time lol
hey! love the vid and the sound, going to order all parts as soon as possible, i just wanted to confirm with you, even though i’m 98% sure i’m right about it, i have 2007 g35 sedan, identical to the 37, and i just had one dumb question just to get out of my brain lol, i would run this normally correct? *not backwards like the 370*
Alright so update on my previous question, wanted your input on it. Test pipes with high flow fx resonators and borla mufflers. Perfect setup if I want loud growl with minimum rasp? How loud would it be? Thanks!
is the FlowFx resonators bigger or smaller than the stock ones? and what do you recommend i put, as of right now i have muffler delete and res test pipes but it’s way too loud. I want something a lil louder than muffler delete and nice sounding. Would this set up w test pipes sounds nicer and louder than muffler delete?
This setup sounds way nicer than a muffler delete. It's much more refined. Yes, the flowfx resonators are larger than factory. The volume of this setup is very similar to a muffler delete with stock cats--slightly louder on acceleration I would say. If you have test pipes, then i recommend this complete setup. That was the point of the video lol.
And YES you can shoot flames with it! Just remember...exhaust components are not designed to handle flame maps and burble tunes, so moderation is key!

Appreciate it so much man.. I dream of the day I can make this happen bro.. now I've got the blueprint thanks to you
Hell yeah!
Cheers!
@@SpeedCultureStudios I've got stock cats FWIW.

I have been inspired by this video so I'm actually doing the same setup on my 3.5 Altima. I just put on a jemini performance ypipe recently so hopefully I can achieve a new sound. Great informational videos.

I'm about to pull the trigger on this. I already have a rev9 axle back, so I'll run the borla into that.

Saw the other exhaust vids. Good job on this one. Straight forward to the point with great detail. The pics and drawing was a nice touch. Hello,
I’m planning to get this setup on my car and I’m concerned about few things
1) Does this setup effect on performance or milage?
2) Should I get a tune after this exhaust?
1. No
2. Only if you install HFCs or test pipes with it
Hope this helps!
@@SpeedCultureStudios got it👍🏻 thanks for replying. Appreciate it
@@SpeedCultureStudios I have one more question. There is a brace (metal plate) underneath the center of the body in the exact same place where you have placed the Borla muffler (as showe in the video). Have you bolted it back at the place after your custom exhaust?

Yes. If you just show them the picture I included, they’ll know what to do.

Thanks for checking in!!
How do i ask the shop to install this setup? Do i ask for a custom exhaust or do i take all the parts and they should know what to do ?
Yeah they should know, but you should call first and get an estimate. Just tell them you're needing a custom catback system and that you have all the major components and they just need to tie it all together. If they are a decent shot, they'll know what to do and it should only be a 1 - 2 hour job.
@@SpeedCultureStudios thank you 🙏🏻

Will this affect performance? Also, do I need anything other than what you put in the description, if my Q50S red sport exhaust is stock?
You can install down pipes if you want, but everything is in the description.
You likely won’t feel any gains from a catback system until the car is tuned

Speed Culture Studios after the exhaust getting a tune...do you have any recommendations? I’m not getting a HE as i live in toronto (canada) heat soaking isn’t a thing up here.
Aris Dixon I would do lower down pipes before tune. Then I’d look into supporting mods. Suspension, sway bars brakes etc

Aris Dixon send me a video clip if you can please. I would love to hear it on the 3.0
2 questions
1. is the performance gain from running test pipes versus running stock cats significant? (i know it won't be as loud)
2. if i were to install this with test pipes and not tune it for 1-2 months, would that damage my car in any way?
You could expect probably a 10hp difference after tuning with cats vs test pipes. Obviously cats keep you street legal.
People have installed test pipes and waiting a few months to tune. It’s not ideal but the car would likely survive if you don’t race it too hard in that period.
@@SpeedCultureStudios ahh okay, thanks!
Here from Instagram thanks for being you man

Anybody in GA got a shop they can recommend for the install ?
Did you find a shop?
I forget what kind of rest pipes you have. I have Berks and I might be going with this set up because of cost and it sounds great. Between going borla and magnaflow

Anyone got a video of it on a 3.0?😂
What the name of the exhaust shop that did your exhaust system they did a really good job look great

I’d like to hear that!
Kyle Hayslett I cant be certain of diameters, but sure that could potentially make a difference in tone.
Gonna do this soon, just a bit different instead of flow fx i will be using dynomax race bullets hoping it sounds similar just a bit louder
Let me know how it goes
Hello, been watching for some time now and love the build! i was wondering if the Magnaflow dula in dual out x-flow muffler would give the same/similar result. Its a lot easier to comeby where I live. any help would be appreciated thanks!
Hey i have a a 2008 infiniti g35 journey VQHR, I was wondering if this setup will fit on my car? Thanks for your time.
Yes, several have installed it in the g35
about to pull the trigger on this! i already have a muffler delete + resonated test pipes. gonna do the borla muffler first and see how i like it. then go with the resonators if i want to tone in down more. in your opinion how would JUST the borla muffler aspect do (added to a system with resonated test pipes, stock resonators, and muffler delete). appreciate all your vids
Thanks alot bro I cant wait to install this
Hey! quick question, i have a 3.7, is it worth doing if you are only willing to install it on stock cats? i see some of your more recent comments saying its similiar to stock sound with cats. i just want a good exhuast note as well as a boost in loudness. Thanks appreciate it i love all your videos, youre the man!
No it’s not. Just do a muffler delete if you’re looking for more volume
Getting mine done now
Hell yeah
@@SpeedCultureStudios Question. The flow masters replace the stock rear mufflers right?
@@krob8823 yes
@@SpeedCultureStudios Hey boss. Which muffler did you go with? Borla? Or Magnaflow?
@@krob8823 borla but I’d go with the magnaflow now-Borla has had some quality issues lately
Probably a small leak. And it’s typical with regular gaskets between the flanges. Get some high quality gaskets from z1 and it’ll take care of that
@@SpeedCultureStudios I do have the Z1 gaskets installed already.
So good!
id rather have burnt tips than polished got any links for some?
The borla is “legit.” It’s one of the highest quality mufflers/resonators you can buy.
@@SpeedCultureStudios Just don't use one w/o cats. Now someone who wants one?

Res test pipes. Drone is minimal only between 1900-2100 rpm. I drive in manual mode and never have the rpm in that range so no drone. But it’s not quiet. If you’ve never had an aftermarket exhaust with no cats, you won’t understand

Thanks!
I think you are the first out there!!
How long did the shop take?

Going with the SCS exhaust set up! Do I need test pipes? Prefer to keep my stock cats
You don’t need them but this system is designed for them, so if you keep stock cats it’ll be a bit quieter
If this exhaust setup is too loud for my liking after installing. What are the best ways to quiet down the exhaust?
Can you do a video about it?
You would just add resonators
@@SpeedCultureStudios what types of resonators are the most effective to quiet down a exhaust?
Do you only need one set of the flanges because you only need one on each side of the exhaust? Does this come with the assumption your cats or test pipes have a connection site? If they don’t have a connection site would you need two sets in order to have two per side of your exhaust?
That’s correct just one set. They mate right to your test pipes/cats
Just compare part numbers
I just bought a Q50 2015, i have a g37s with a custom exhaust that sounds amazing and your sounds even better. However, i was thinking about quad tips for the Q50, do you recommend specific diffuser and tips for that? And how much would i be expecting to pay the shop for a job like this? Thank you!
Shops have been charging from $250-$350. It’s an hour job, so it shouldn’t be more than that. I don’t know about quad tips-you’d probably have to cut the bumper
@@SpeedCultureStudios much appreciated! One more question, does it absolutely need to be tuned to have this exhaust put on it?
@@cognacrayray4590 no. Only if you install test pipes
@@SpeedCultureStudios thank you!!
Towards the end of the video you mention that there’s another pipe needed for the install what kind of pipe is needed? I got quoted $500 for install was yours $150 with the pipes?
The pipe I referred to is just the additional pipe needed to tie everything together. Prices were a lot cheaper before Covid when I had mine installed
Hey SCS love your vids but quick question, do you think it would sound good if I got vibrant resonators instead of the Borla muffler?
With test pipes it needs a large resonator like the borla or magnaflow otherwise it will be very raspy
With the flanges on Amazon did you order one or two of them? In the pictures they’re bolted together and I was wondering if you could separate them and use them separate or if you had to order 2
Yes, it’s just 1 set. It’s a pair so you only need 1
Awesome video! Do you have a link to the flanges and gasket you used? For flex pipe do you recommend the 2.5x6x10 or 2.5x4x4?
I like the 6x10 flex best. I like z1 gaskets
Can i make this with an q50 2018 ?
Absolutely. Take a look at my 3.0t specific video for suggested variations.
I guess if you wanted to add another set of resonators to make it even quieter then you could put some valves in
Does the muffler position affect the sound?, what about if you put the new muffler where the old one was ? Is going to affect the sound ?
hey! love the vid and the sound, going to order all parts as soon as possible, i just wanted to confirm with you, even though i’m 98% sure i’m right about it, i have 2007 g35 sedan, identical to the 37, and i just had one dumb question just to get out of my brain lol, i would run this normally correct? *not backwards like the 370*
It can be run normally.
I'm def doing this
You won't be disapointed!
Alright so update on my previous question, wanted your input on it. Test pipes with high flow fx resonators and borla mufflers. Perfect setup if I want loud growl with minimum rasp? How loud would it be? Thanks!
“Loud” is subjective. Check out all of my Q50 videos and clips to get an idea of that tone. I’ve shared as many as possible for this reason.
So after trial with the pieces of flex pipe, do you find it is necessary to combat the vibration concerns? Thanks
Highly recommended
is the FlowFx resonators bigger or smaller than the stock ones? and what do you recommend i put, as of right now i have muffler delete and res test pipes but it’s way too loud.
