      @@alex_tanaka I think you need ducting to bring fresh to the brakes. Tesla cars are very aero efficient. And this means they give cooling openings as small as possible and no cooling for the brakes.
      Try cutting some holes and duct some fresh air into the disc area.

      @@ShadowLancer128 I've compared NR videos and EVs corner quicker than beloved performance cars of corresponding ICE class.
      As you said, EV tech is still young and the bottlenecks mainly stem from battery technologies. As advancements happen in this field we are going to see great improvements.
      If Nikola Tesla wasn't mrdered we'd have EVs with tiny battery packs and power subscription services who were powered over the air by tiny antennas. There would be no bulky batteries except for a small buffer, and no charging times.

    • @orangejuche
      @orangejuche 2 месяца назад

      one, battery starts to overheat after a single hot lap. The architecture of the battery the various Teslas use is not conducive to rapid discharge and charge under race conditions, and it struggles with heating issues. Really any NMC battery, regardless of car brand has issues with it, but short of doing something like Hyundai with the 5N where they put insane amounts of ducting and cooling for the battery system, you're not going to be able to keep the battery temps stable on track. Even the 5N gets toasty after a couple laps at the Nurburgring, but it does manage to pull off 2 laps without derating, if you have the BMS in the right mode.
