AO Racing looked to claim their first GTD PRO victory in IMSA's annual trip to Laguna Seca. If they want to win in their Porsche GT3 R they will have to overcome almighty competition from the Corvette C8 GT3.R, Lexus, and Pfaff McLaren.

I was at this race!!!! I even got to talk to Laurin Heinrich after the race at the podium and he signed a picture of the car for me. What a great race, Im personally a AO racing fan and the #77 Porsche is my favorite car on track. As a big Porsche fan, this was probably the best outcome.

Great video!! I really loved the GT car action this year at Laguna. Even though I was rooting for the Pfaff, the 77 crew drove an amazing race to take a much deserved victory.

Heinrich is such a fast driver! A really great addition to the AO Racing team. As a german this race was perfect, two Porsche wins and a Mercedes win! (And both brands are swabian, so from my region, which makes this even better!)

I reckon you can get 2 very nice videos out of it. Especially with Andlauers 4 overtakes in Eau Rouge and the never ending LMGT3 battles. Also the ferraris battling from P11 and P19 to P1 and P2 just before the red flag.

Heinrich is a an amazing driver, saw him raced at sepang a couple of weeks ago, on the 2nd day he managed to stay on the lead throughout the whole race

Great video. I love watching these to get a defined story line of certain cars. It's easy to get lost in all the battles and forget each car is battling for their spot from start to finish.

took a few passenger laps the following weekend in a 488 gt modificata and it was absolutely nuts. young driver for ferrari of Houston was absolutely sending it, and i nearly puked hahaha. the g-forces in the 488 were pushing my gut into my throat! 599xx was crazy as well, with the driver passing a few of the newer xx programme cars and losing the rear and drifting in the middle of the t2 hairpin. after which, he said over the radio, "tires are gone next lap will be cooldown." pretty insane and idk how it happened to me tbh

Can someone explain to me how there is teams racing both in IMSA and in FIA WEC at the same time? Like heart of racing with the Aston, there is one car who races in IMSA and the other in FIA WEC?
Yea, they usually have multiple cars! Some of the more wealthy teams may even have spares.

I wish someone would set you up to commentate a dedicated GTD Pro broadcast. I’d gladly pay the $8/month or what ever it is discovery+ charges for that. I find the lead class conceptually interesting, but I would be content with super occasional updates, I wanna watch the actual super cars race each other.
Official broadcast always obsesses over the lead class, but GTD cars are real cars, and it’s so much more exciting to me.

One of the Corvette drivers said they sandbagged qualifying when he was interviewedsuring the race. They were significantly faster in the race.
I just want to know if Rexy's eyes are the Porsche's headlight or are they the windshield.
