    I grew up out there. It was a great childhood....60's & 70's

I think you grew up in the best time for dirt bikes. Such vast developments in the bike, big name legends of the sport, and tons of areas that were open to ride. My dad tells me about it all the time. I grew up in the 80s and 90s, where I think bike advancements weren't as substantial, and SX became a wild party scene.

@@americandirtrider7662 I live in AZ now and ride a lot with guys from a local club in Prescott, and it's great because most of them are transplants from So.Cal. and we all grew up riding Red Rock.

@@Craiglife777 My dad lives in Chino Valley, just north of Prescott. He moved out there a couple years ago, and same story. Lots of guys who made the escape from California. I wonder if you've come across them on the trail. They've taken me to the Alto Pit area, and a trail called KTM trail. Can't remember the name of that riding area. It's awesome though. If you see a group with two 2021 Beta 300 Race Editions, and two Sherco 300s, that's probably them! Haha

Worked most of my career in the TV industry and didn't realize how much dialogue is needed to fill 20min. Great job on your first narration. I can't chew gum and walk, so for sure won't listen to music, narrate, and oh yeah...tackle technical terrain all at the same time. The licking a dead cat was a gem and liked the Beta and mod reviews you were doing, so perhaps that's a topic for a future vid. Thanks!

Oh that's cool, I didn't know you worked in film and TV. Something I'd like to chat with you about on the next ride. Man, you aren't kidding though. Editing these videos in general is so much more time consuming than I ever would have expected. And sadly, there is so much good footage that just can't make it in for time's sake.
I think I need to plan topics to talk about ahead of time, so it flows a little better. Mod reviews is a good one, and pretty easy to talk about.

Thank you, I appreciate it!! I'd seen Collin's videos on Graduation Hill and I really wanted to try it. As usual, the camera doesn't give it the credit it deserves as a difficult obstacle. It really is a balance of keeping the bike moving, and keeping the front end on the ground, haha.

Licking a Dead Cat...that brought up an image I unfortunately can't get out of my head!! I forgot how cold it was that morning, I was having a hard time talking too. I really want to go back and ride up that Ridge Trail, that will be one looong hillclimb.

Thanks man, I really appreciate that! It's hard to make a video that I would think people will find interesting. But I think that's the beauty of our sport. We enjoy watching riding in general and seeing the trails.
I can't wait till Sunday! Getting my camera charged now.
