I've been enjoying these since Hoovie purchased his blue BMW Roller with the unreplaceable tyres, hope you and the Wizard team are able to keep churning out your mix of good information and comedy for many years to come.
I don't think the 911SC was a dumb purchase ... it may not have been a super smart investment, but you've got an awful nice 911 now. Honestly out of all of the cars you bought this year, its the one I'd probably take if you were giving them all away. But then look at my name :p
I loved the LeBarron. Hated the way it had to go. Any of the talking cars from that era, Chrysler, Datsun/Nissan were great. Wouldn't mind having one some day. (Still pissed about that 280ZX he punted for no real reason considering the other financial black holes he has rescued.😄) Thank you Hoovie for another year of entertainment!

You can get rid of the oil stains from the concrete using a propane blow torch. I used a large brush torch from HF. You heat the concrete and the oil burns off. Just remember not to concentrate the heat it'll cause the concrete to chip off.
The E63 AMG brings back memories. In 2010 I was stationed in Germany and had to go to Stuttgart. On the way back I had my 2010 Grand Caravan opened wide up doing about 100mph when I hear this high pitched motor scream and glance up to see a Lamborghini Gallardo fly by like I was standing still (perhaps 150 mph). While watching that beautiful rear end disappearing into the distance I hear a low pitched guttural roar and glanced in the mirror just in time to nearly get my doors blown off by an E63 that was chasing down the Lambo. Yeah, good times.
I think that Lebaron video is what brought me to this channel. So it wasn't that bad a buy. What amuses me is these expensive cars that quit on you and some of them are absolute junk, while here I have an '88 Chevy van and a '93 GMC truck, both TBI, both sat like five years, the truck rusty as all get out, the GMC fired right up with a hot battery. The van didn't want to fire in the cold, so I dumped some fuel system cleaner down it, let it sit, and on a warmer day with a shot of ether away it went. I think with fresh gas it would be as reliable as ever. Both need some attention to the brakes though.

I’m the next owner of the GL and it’s been very reliable for the most part. My wife has put close to 40k miles on it. It has needed some work though. Rear air bags and shocks, new air pump and valve block, new AC compressor, just replaced the starter and motor mounts. The starter is why it would not start for Hoovie as it would not turn over fast enough. Finally gave up completely. So, l have probably spent close to what I paid Hoovie for it, but the the wife loves it. Oh yea, the power steering pump has started whining, looks like I will be pulling that next.

Great compilation and thanks for inspiring automotive masochists for the last six years (myself included). The Lebaron, what good memories, the talking voice and burying it. The Alpina B7, what a machine but what a disaster. The Tesla and its battery, has depreciated to the point where the battery is worth more than the car, like the original Nissan Leaf in Japan (it keeps company with all the deadly sinners, the DSG Volkswagens, Valvetronic 4 cylinder and V8 BMWs, Powershift Volvos, CVT Nissans to name a few).
I'm so glad that you do this craziness, and admire how calm you are while throwing mountains of money at those trashed hoopdies! As an old optimist, I can share this wisdom (?) with you: the more exclusive a car is or was, the less practical it is for doing donuts. Just saying. If I had the budget you have, I'd find a couple of AMC Hornet's or Gremlin's to make LS-swapped and suspension upgraded drift cars out of. After I trashed one, I'd offer to let you buy it! Keep on truckin', I think you're going to be fine
Have you considered buying an interest in the Car Wizard's shop? It might be more economical than paying walk-in rates for the crazy amount of work you have done there. You may also want to start a scrap yard to part out some of these stinkers.

You are doing a fantastic job. I have a technical question(as I am a Service Engineer):What was the mileage(s) on the various vehicles upon all the failures during your ownership??? I am especially interested on the Mercedes's models, Bentley and BMW.In this way your viewers/subscribers would know what expect and when??? Keep up the great work!!!I will always be a subscriber to the channel.
The mileage of each is usually mentioned when he buys them, and sometimes when they're discussing them for repairs.I subbed when he traded for the Bentley Turbo.I don't recall the miles either..89k-ish.That's part of the fun.'It got how far before self-destructing?'edit=It turns out the LaBaron is when he drew my attention and I started watching.Subbed later when I saw the fun wasn't going to stop.

So, l have probably spent close to what I paid Hoovie for it, but the the wife loves it. Oh yea, the power steering pump has started whining, looks like I will be pulling that next.
R.I.P Ken Block a true legend in the car community 🙏
How did he die riding a snowmobile?
@@M447DTturbo sleds come over backwards easily, when your friends don’t see it, you can be trapped. I’ve saved a friend from this outcome, it’s quite serious. His riding buddies will have a lot of guilt to overcome…
Damn, when did he die? Not too long ago? Guess I have to look it up.
@@volvo09 Yesterday
@@M447DT I read it was on a steep slope, front came up and landed on him.
Man, throwback to the first Hoovie video I ever watched; the LeBaron. it randomly came across my homepage and I've been hooked ever since.
He keeps making the mistake because it landed him a beautiful wife, 60 car collection and self employment 😂
But everyone knows: dumb moves get views !
Well done Tyler on keeping the channel alive and interesting 👏
Love u hov , brother happy new year 🎉 🙌🙌
Got MotorTrend for you Hoovie. Happy New Year. Thanks for all the great content in 2022 and thanks for starting off 2023 with more great content.
The real issue seems to be the effect all this has had on the Wizzard, the stress seems to have taken its toll on his hair and his waste.
But it got his new shop paid for.
Rip Ken Block
I like your unconventional buys (i.e.LeBaron)
I'm so glad that you do this craziness, and admire how calm you are while throwing mountains of money at those trashed hoopdies! As an old optimist, I can share this wisdom (?) with you: the more exclusive a car is or was, the less practical it is for doing donuts. Just saying. If I had the budget you have, I'd find a couple of AMC Hornet's or Gremlin's to make LS-swapped and suspension upgraded drift cars out of. After I trashed one, I'd offer to let you buy it! Keep on truckin', I think you're going to be fine
RIP Ken Block. An automotive and racing icon.
noo 😔😭🙏
Have you considered buying an interest in the Car Wizard's shop? It might be more economical than paying walk-in rates for the crazy amount of work you have done there. You may also want to start a scrap yard to part out some of these stinkers.
Makes for good content, though. 😜
I am surprised that at least one of the displays didn't read, "SELF DESTRUCT ACTIVATED!"
Fly high Ken Block the car community won’t be the same without you anymore
He's not Flying !!!
Wizard and Hoovie running away from underneath that Subaru had me rolling 🤣 22:51
Tyler, loved this, because you can also see how much you have grown. Great work!
A hoovie video!!!! Just what I was looking for.
Hi Tyler! I only subscribe to motortrend for Car Issues- please let them know that. Burying the Le B' was one of the first series I watched on Hoovies Garage. Keep up the amazing content!
Lots of Hoov-pties there! A fun look back at bad decisions and questionable life choices. Thanks for the fun Tyler.
I loved your outro! It reminded me of the Top Gears intro to dozens of the episodes. Classic!
Don't worry Tyler, sometimes your mistakes are the only thing you can claim as truly your own. RUclips videos took some of the pain out of the mistakes.
Through them away! Through them all away! Thank you for making these mistakes so I don't have too! Happy New Year Tyler!
This makes me feel much better about some of the cars I bought over the years.
