Some people can accept aftermarket parts are sometimes a trade-off, while others aren't willing to compromise,(or just want to whine about it on the internet)....and they aren't Giving up ride quality for performance handling.
I still remember trying to sell a EF hatch Honda with a b18, but it has polyurethane front end, link style strut rod, and tein coilovers. Everyone who test drove it said, "it rides like shit"
Until one guy showed up and said, "this thing is so responsive, like a gocart....."

People forget the viper was Carroll Shelby's bonkers creation when Dodge finally took the leash off him & his team. It's going to feel raw and unrefined. It was 100% meant to be, just like the AC Cobra cars. Sledgehammer for the track. Total F.U. power on tap (keep in mind the era and how slow cars were then). We're spoiled by today's offerings in this modern golden age of horsepower and it takes away from the experience of older legend/hero cars. $800 for an oil change/fluids? 11 quarts of engine oil, gearbox oil, and differential oil. I get my full synthetic oil at Walmart for $21 per 5 quarts, so about $45 there. Trans and differential fluid plus friction modifier - maybe another $50 for those fluids. Where's the other $700 coming from? Buy the fluids and get your new chippy to do it for you; she seems up for it...
