    It maybe a yarn eater, but my daughter spent a ton of money on a weighted blanket. She says a heavy blanket helps her sleep better. They say that babies should be swaddled on the tighter side, so maybe that’s why a heavy blanket helps you sleep better. Can’t wait to try this blanket. It will cost a fortune to send it to her, but I’m sure she will love it! Thank you.

    Was 10 yrs in 1971. It was ok as far as an Era goes. I wish I could have been a teen in the 60's but love 1900's to the 60's. Thank you for this tutorial.

    HI,
    I LIKE THIS PATTERN. IT'S DIFFERENT. I'M REALLY NOT FRINGE PERSON. BUT FOR SOME REASON THE FRINGES CAUGHT MY EYE. IT BRINGS OUT THE PATTERN. THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER VINTAGE.
    I AM GOING TO MAKE THIS..

    Lovely texture look. Appreciate the chain count as to try this stitch out in something other than large throw. Just finished up the button, V stitch, sc throw and it is CUTE! Really appreciate you sharing patterns, your time working through them, and mostly the rouge decisions/process and commentary. 🧡🧡

    This is so far a very enjoyable stitch to work. There’s a lot of skipping stitches and working into a space which I feel makes the rows go a little faster. I’m designating this as my mindless project for when I just want to crochet and not have to keep cutting and weaving in ends.

    I completely understand when you ask. Have I ever felt that I missed my Era? Yes, every day, I was born in the late 1970s, and I feel my Era was 1800 or 1940, 1950 because today, society is just not my cup of tea . What makes sense to me is crochet. One of my crochet friends introduced me to your RUclips channel, and I just got hooked on your channel and I don't missed none of your tutorials I love the series you have of making the vintage pattern that you picked by selecting a number and at the end when you finish making the pattern is that you revel the name of the pattern. I haven't tried to crochet yet with you, but I promise I will one day. Thank you for taking me through the time machine because the way I see it is your solving a mystery that takes us through time when you're crocheting these old patterns. I totally love it.

    Gorgeous warm blanket for a cold climate and I love the texture. I also don't like the chain stitches along one side. I'd chain 4 or 5 or 6 instead of 3. Then I could cover the chains by working a row of single crochet over them & keep the wavy edge. I'd do the same edge along the other side too. Just thoughts - might look awful!

    • @stacyvolek3418
      @stacyvolek3418 Год назад

      I was thinking of reducing the chains, then sc in each stitch across, then work my pattern in other side of my chains. So my sc’s are on the outside of the blanket. Does that make sense? It makes sense in my mind! Lol! One of my cats is sitting here with me, I think between the 2 of us and my almost 50 years experience we can make it work! Lol! 🤣😂💚
