So from my understanding, Inside was filmed in Bo Burnham's guest house. He didn't live there, but he made the special entirely in there. And I've seen around online that the only help he received was for color grading and polish type things, otherwise it really was all him. Super excited you guys mentioned it because I was blown away by it too!!

The new office looks great!
I have a whole pile of Hue lights. I use the motion sensors to trigger hall and landing lights so if my kid needs to take herself to the bathroom in the night the lights come on nice and low and turn off again after a period. I use some of the Hue Labs setups to have different brightness levels at different times of day - it’s definitely worth checking out.
I love the idea of different default brightness (or even color temperature) that changes depending on the time of day.
The main issue I'm having with the motion detectors is that if I start with the lights on, two minutes after a motion trigger, the lights turn off-even though I have it set to "Return to previous state." So I can't seem to keep my lights on when I want them on.
@@GriffinHammond I’ve found combining manual and automatic control to be an exercise in frustration - you definitely have my sympathies there!
The mike is good
SOunds much better, might have to do the podcast facing the wall, or do a bit more echo remover in post. Love the office otherwise, and you should pop sound foam all over the walls and ceiling to not help with just the podcast, but also your audio when watching TV. Also I watched every episode of this podcast, how crazy is that?

I’ve been using Hue lights for over a decade. As you mention the 800 lumens is a serious limitation in some larger spaces, like my great room. So I was delighted to find that they now have A9 bulbs rated at 1600 lumens. They are ridiculously expensive but the improvement in brightness makes them well worth the cost-to me anyway. I am curious, who makes those light switches you are using?
Yeah, those new 1600-lumen Hue bulbs are a much-needed update. Had they been available, maybe I wouldn't have installed 3-bulb ceiling fixtures. (Just 2 1600-lumen bulbs per ceiling light would've been more than enough power.)
