Hey Griffin! That footage you shot at the political event looks so great, I thought this on the other podcast where you showed a lot of the footage (both raw and graded)... Did you shoot it on Natural profile as normal? And do you usually shoot on natural for jobs where the editing/grading will be done by a third party/production company? I often bounce between Natural and vLog L on my GH5 but I can't really decide which I like best... Hope you guys have a great 2023, can't wait to see the content you produce!
Great question, Tom! I shot the political rally footage in "Natural" color profile on the GH5M2. I asked the editors what they'd prefer-Natural or V-Log-and they preferred Natural, as it's a tight turnaround show ("The Circus" produced by Left/Right TV).
Wasn't a planned leave of absence, but yes, it's been six months since our last recording! I've been busy full-time parenting, and focusing on marathon training. I don't know yet when the podcast will return to my routine, but it hasn't been canceled!
I think that most two-car families would be perfectly fine with one of them electric. Farmers have abundant space for solar panels, it should be practical for most of their farming fleet to be electric too. Cameras, cordless power tools etc have interchangeable battery packs. Torches and much other lighting has interchangeable AA, AAA batteries. It should be possible to adapt these ideas to all kinds of EVs including farm and mining equipment. Battery swap doesn't have to be as fast as refuelling with diesel to be cost-competitive, but it needn't be slow.
