Here in 2022. Where did you get the replacement regulator? And why do you think the regulator died? Is the large square heatsink not enough to remove the heat?

I can't say why it died. I get my parts usually on eBay or Digikey or Mouser

@@tomtechtod9200 ... I'm gonna have to guess that it's thermal-related. Heatsink probably too minimal on thermal design equations, including any capacitor limitations. Seems like a common issue too, there are other similar videos.
