Extremely impressive demonstration. Actually even though you had it all worked out, it was somewhat complex and probably expensive. I don't know if I hit the right button for other similar demonstrations but I would like to see more similar videos from you.
Thank you for putting this video together, it was a huge help! I have a Vizio E601i-A3E that went black with sound. I could see the TV with the flashlight test and went through this entire video, pausing to test along the way. When I would turn on the TV, my backlight would stay on for a few seconds and then turn off so I used your guidance on the voltage test of the backlight circuit to help me diagnose that it could be a power board problem. I kept testing everything including the T-Con board but the power board seemed to be the part that needed replaced. I bought the part from Shop Jimmy as you suggested and installed it and the TV works great. Thank you again and I know where I'm going next time I have a TV issue!
Hi my LG TV kept switching to stand by 3 yrs ago. I fixed it, quiet easily: I threw the f at the wall; It's been great ever since! Like your vids, informative and helpful.
Just fixed our Vizio TV with your help, we replaced the driver board and it is now working. The TV had the black screen with audio but no picture unless you used a flash light on the screen then you could see the screen was on. The part board cost less than $12 dollars.
Thoroughly explained how to repair my vizio tv to eliminate my problem. I have not tried it yet, but I thought you deserved a positive comment. I'll keep you posted. Thank you for taking the time to help us all out and save us hundreds of $$.
Hi Tampatec, massive fan of your videos. Think I've probably watched every single tv one. Just a request really... It'd be really cool if you did a break down of the power supply board, like talk about the process of converting from AC to DC, the smoothing process etc. Can't find a single one on RUclips. Thanks dude.
I fixed a similar model vizio and the issue was the LVDS cable. I almost didn't catch it and thought the LCD panel was bad, but glad it was the ribbon cables going into the t-con board.
Like your videos, very informative. I have Vizio 70inch LED TV. Model M70-C3. Black screen, no backlight. The power button lights up and the optical audio port lights up. I removed the back panel and checked the voltages on the Power Supply board.connector to Main Board, standby voltages for AC det =3.96, PS on =5.13 and AU =12.. Pins 8&9 VS =12v. Pins 13&14 T-con =12v, however pin 15 T-con on =0v. Also T-con connector pins 1,2,3,4 measured 0v instead 12v. Checked output voltages on LED Driver connector. Pins 3-8 measured 34v instead of 24v..Pin 13, vsense =2.6v. To summarize, zero voltage output to T-con board and higher voltage 34v instead of 24v going to LED driver board. Can you advise me on which board I should replace. My initial thought was the Power Supply board, however I guess it could be the Main Logic board not setting T-con on. Appreciate your expert advice.
sorry for late reply, I get many questions. If you turn off the room lights and See a Backlight Glow and no picture then it can be the T-con board or main board. Like u said if you don't see backlight glow it can be bad LED strips (very common). get TV parts from shopjimmy.com thanks for being a member!
Dear I am very much impressed on your great job done/doing, and getting lots of blessing, God may bless you, as well your family. The knowledge of your sharing to the people really need from you is really very appreciatable.Well I would like to seek an help from you that my LED TV Samsung keep on standby when push the remote button, standby light blink once.In this regards I shall be highly obliged if you may please guide me.Thanks with lot of regards:Shakir Aziz
Excellent video! I am having almost the exact same issues with my Panasonic TC-39AS530U. TV turns on, screen flickers 3 times (I can see the LED lights flickering in the back), then I get a blank screen with 1 LED flicker (error code 1 I assume) then just a slowly blinking red LED. There is no sound and I can't turn it off with the remote. I have to press and hold the power button on the side of the unit or unplug it to turn it off. I have tested my power supply board. ALL 3 test points (standby, LED driver, and main board) maintain voltage when it goes from power on to blinking light. However, the pins on the connector for the main board and driver board go from 16V and 24V respectively down to 0 when the light starts to blink. There are 3 test points on the main board, 5.3V, 12V, and 15V. The 5.3V (standby) maintains voltage when it goes from power on to blinking light, the other two do not, they go to 0. Would that, along with voltages being maintained on the power supply board, indicate that this main board is bad? I really hope that is the case as I do not want to get into replacing LED strips. Thanks and keep up the great work! P.S. I have put in new power supply and T-con boards and the problem continues.
Very informational thurogh and helpfull. Only question I have is my TV shows all proper voltage except power to back lights. How do I troubleshoot that part of the power board.
Yes! it was ! but darn I have no tools! I'll have to get a repair guy. but this will be a help on knowing price wise and all.... I can't see Backlights TV still intact not opened but the Vizio front light is on.
Thanks for this. I was able to follow along and found the same problem with no voltage going out of the T-Con board. I ordered the part, changed it, and it's now working!
I had like the same poblem with my sharp 47 inch i got a teacon board for £12.00 wich is roghly $7.00 from ebay and i diden!t use the meter just looked at it to know what was wrong.Still .Very good video and informative from you Sir. Keep them alive LOL
Tampactec thanks for your great videos they are very helpful. I have a Panasonic TX 55 Cx400B tv it has sound but the only picture is on the very lower bottom of the screen eg where notifications appear such as breakingnews the rest top of the screen is white. I got a use TCon board online but no deference. I removed and pushed the cable from power to TCon and from TCon to display buffer board no change I will greatly appreciate some advice David
Nice videos! I have a Vizio E550i-B2 With backlight, no tv image but have a blue/white/gray light on screen and with audio. I purchased a combo panel in shopjimmy but nothing happened, i send it back boards. But i don't know if the combo board are damage too. What you recommend? Try again with new boards or put the tv on the trash? Thanks
I can barely see the picture in our Vizio and I was wondering if you could help me get it brighter? I appreciate your help thanks so much Tampatech you’re awesome sharing your wonderful skill with us ... ps we have sound and dark screen
I have a sharp lc-65P6000 about a year old, got water on the back side. I now ave a 3" vertical strip just left of center that is a lighter shade than the rest of the screen. After a lot of investigating and thanks to your videos, I guessing it might be a connection at the T-con board. Am wondering your thoughts. Thanks
I really appreciate all of the work you have presented. I have watched probably 8 or 9 of your videos and read some of your blog. I am trying to debug my mother's Westinghouse LTV-32W6. It has power, sound (at least a squealing sound), and backlights, but no video on screen. Her tv's t-con board is not accessible without moving the main board and power board, so I can't test it the way you indicate plugged in.. I should be able to test the power out of the power board to the t-con board, is that enough to say it is the t-con board that is bad? How do I differentiate between t-con and inverter board? dwoods
Great and helpful video! Quick question, if there is no apparent backlight in step 1, what's the next step? LED Controller board replacement or continue troubleshooting? Main board gets red LED lit when plugged in. Then when power button is pressed, that light turns pink and the power indicator light on the front of the TV comes on solid, then blinks for 34 times, then fades out. After this, the pink LED turns back red.
hey tampatec, i have a westinghouse 40" that will stay on for about an hour or so with great sound and picture. after this hour or so the entire screen becomes blank and green and then powers off or at least the display shuts down. i have been reading its the graphic board and possibly from overheating. would you recomend me just ordering a new graphics board?
You have good videos. I'm trying to trouble shoot my tv and at this point I believe the t con is bad. Haven't checked the back light yet although I do see a blueish glow on some of the inputs. And some sound here and there but then does out. Any ideas? Thanks again for the videos
Hey tampatec great vid as usual. So I was fixing my TV Vizio 55" E series, and I had gotten the lights to come on and I could get pic, but some of the LEDs needed to be replaced. Then my daughter ( 1.5) climbed onto my table where the TV was and was sitting of my freaking TV. Now I can't get lights on and when I do the flashlight test I only see the right half of the screen. One of the Hard wired ribbon cables gets a little hot. Is my TV toast?
Thanks for this deep troubleshooting, I have 75' Vizio flat screen with three busted capacitor in the power board, I replaced the 3 capacitor but the TV will still not come on though the capacitors rating was 68uf 450 but I was able to get 47uf 450 to replace them but still not working no single light anywhere
Thanks for great advice. I have a Sharp Aquos 70 LCD similar to one you’ve fixed before. Not sure what happened to it, but the screen started looking like a work of art. Based on additional videos and talking to some people, they recommended changing the tcon board - which I just did last might buuuut nothing happened, now it’s just a blue screen. The backlights are on, but there’s still no picture or sound. What do you recommend as the next course of action? I would love the fix it, but don’t want to end up investing more money into it and it’s not repairable.
The last DLP's, those Mitsubishi's are nice and have excellent pictures, All you have to do is change the lamp every other year, Get a DLP chip once every 5 years, and change the color wheel after about 6 years. LOL
Great video Tampatec! I have this tv with black screen and has sound while doing your test on the main board at the tcon terminals only one side has the 12 volts, is that a sure sign of the main board being bad? I'm afraid I'll buy this board then tcon board will be bad, then it will be the screen like yours ended up being. You have any input? Thx much
@@davidchellgren7932 I am having the same issue with the second ribbon cable reading 0 V at pin 1. Did you ever determine what the cause of this problem was. Do you know what parts would need to be replaced (main logic board, t-con board, power supply, ribbon cables)?
Enjoyed this video for the test points. Checked the voltage at the tcon connectors at the main board but only have 12v on one connector. Tv has sound, channels and backlight but no picture. Tried replacing tcon board but no difference. Do I replace the main board?
+steve Fayet +Tampatec I have the same exact issue as you do i have 12 volts at the main board cable going out to the T-Con board (one closest to the top of the TV Screen) But the other one below it, No Dice! Hey love the content--was hoping to get your opinion on an issue I'm having with my Sony XBR65x900H LED smart tv. Basically, it sometimes turns on/works fine for a few minutes before the backlight flickers, turns off, and the tv blinks 4 times. I've checked the boards (power, LD, main) and noticed that as it starts flickering, I also hear crackling/whining from the power board that appears to be in sync with the backlight flicker. I thought this might mean a power supply/capacitor issue until I held the power button while plugging the TV in, and was able to see an "Updating" screen for well over an hour (backlights on, picture on screen); so this makes me think it might be another component failing? Any tips on an approach to diagnosing which specific board/component may be failing? This is more of a hobby than something I must have fixed, so any insight is appreciated!
Hi and thanks for the tutorial, but can you tell me what led I can use to get my bauhn 40 inch led smart TV working. The manufacturer said they don't have any more stock available for this TV. Can you help
Dear Tampatec .. Question: I have this set .. two of the 3 LED strips are fine testing with TKDMR LED tester .. one is dead (has one or more open LEDs in both sides). When the set is powered up, the working LED strips “strobe”. Is the LED power driver/board a problem? Or is the failed/open strip causing the strobing? .. PS I bought the power board repair kit from Shop Jimmy, but have not yet repaired the board.
hi tampatec. u have an awesome video on tv repair. I have a panasonic 55 " tv that first lost its picture and i cleaned the tv a couple of times and the picture returned but now the picture went out and i don't understand how to fix it. I've seen some of your video's on other tv's but they look different than mine. Plz help because I have no tv now. thanks. Jack
Working on my Vizio- have followed your videos to get started. TV won't turn on- I get the white LED when I press the power. Nothing else. No backlight. Can't see anything with the flashlight test. Standy power is present on the power board. I get 5.2 volts at the two places indicated and 12 V and 12V audio connections all check at around 12 at the main connector. The big cap reads 160 V for what that's worth so I'm guessing the power supply might be fine. At the second connector which appears to go to the LEDs I read 26 volts on two wire that are labled LED and less than one volt on the other two connections there. Photo available if needed. The TV was working fine but then it sat for a year unused. I was trying to put it back into service. Appreciate any help. J
Thanks for the videos my 55"vizio popped when my wife turned it off and after a few weeks of your help I've located the blown parts on my power board. Still don't know what the name of them but testing with a meter after your video I've located the shorted parts yes not just one One part sucked the solder up through the board and another blew its top off leaving no info so I hope my local electronic shop can help me out

Hey so I've been trouble shooting my TV issues for a few weeks now. I bought a new T-con board, but still no picture. There's no voltage drop across the part you identified that has a burn hole, but I do get some results on a diode check. There's 12VDC coming from the main board, but nothing going out to the LCD screen. Are there some upstream components I can check to see where I'm shorting out?

what would the wires be for a vizio 502ui-b1e tv? it doesn't label a t con wire. I pretty sure it's either the t con or the main board, but I'm more leaning towards the t con. I just don't have a labeled wire to test... I have backlights and sound, but no picture. The backlight also adjusts the brightness in areas where I pull up the menu. it does not show picture when using a flashlight though. I also don't see any bad capacitors.
So I have a Sharp 70" Aquos Model LC-70LE550U. Have Back lights. When I disconnected one display ribbon cable and did a force start {Volume [+)]& Channel [-] ) , I do get volume and dark picture on one side and white on the other. When I flipped it, I got no picture on either side. But before I get ahead of myself. You talked about the standby voltage being 3.2 vdc. Which I'm getting. But what you didn't talk about but you have a little bubble that says you should also have 3.2vdc when the power is off. This I am not getting. My question is, Is that bubble statement Vizio specific or should all standby voltages be read when off as well. And if you don't mind, a follow up question would be if I'm supposed to have that 3.2vdc and I'm not, would that cause the symptom of the LCD panel not displaying correctly as noted above. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
I bought a 39" Vizio D series, 13 months (yep) ago from Walmart. It worked good for about 10 months until it would freeze pic or go blank. Unpluging it and plugging it back in would correct the problem But it went from doing it twice a week to 5 times a day. It finally started going off and on displaying the "V" screen and then the back screen. The only way you could get it off was to unplug it. The other "odity" was when I went to pop the cover off I found A "Amazon" Firestick plugged into it. Obviously the TV had been sold and returned and resold to me but now stuck with it. Help,!
Great video! My sharp tv looks similar. LC70LE550u when the TV is OFF I get two slow blinks continually. When I turn ON the TV the blinking stops the back light comes ON and the screen lights up white but no picture, only sound. I cannot find any error code that fits the two slow blinks except for power PCB. But the voltages on the power board reads good. Any suggestions/help, would be appreciated.
Hey I have power, the standby is on and then light turns green when the power button is pressed. The tv turns on and after a second, the tv picture flicks off but standby light still green. I did light test and I couldn’t see any picture and there is no light coming from the back of tv(there is light coming from back when the tv picture works) it’s inconsistent what would the issue be with my tv, please help

hey T.T. I have a old vizio tv. 10 years plus, probably more. it has no label on it but I toke the panel off of it and the stickers in side give me #pdp42x32000. a little history on this, I hade this TV in line of my swamp cooler, I took in for repairs for sound but no picture, after three tries and 500.00 later it worked pretty good except for a corner but after a bit it worked great. this time I have it out side under a nice patio in back, I did cover it with thin old beach towels to watch it I only raised the front to view but the back really is not sealed with the towel and the wind we get here I thought would of vented ok. the same gut looked at it for me and told mr it heated uo, ok what now ? 300.00. he told me what it needed so I went to shopjimmy repalced the board. same prob. I fallow your vids the best I could but as you might know my TV has 10 boards in it not just to 2 or 3 in the vids. I think it might be the LED's, the flash light thing did not work, I will double check to noght to make sure. please help, I have to much $ in it to give up now.
Hey Tampa Tec, I have a strange problem and I hope You can help me cuz I'm at a stand still. I have a 50" Vizio 3D Model M501D-A2R . I've replaced 3 boards , power supply, logic , and tcon boards with ones I bought on Ebay and still doing same thing . Ok here's my problem, when watching it , it goes fuzzy then back clear about every 3 seconds . The picture is awesome when its clear . I have a short video and put it on the input screen to see the problem easier. I looked it up on RUclips and a bunch of people had kinda the same problem but no one knows what it is . I was so sure changing the 3 boards would of took care of it . The guy I got the boards from had a LCD screen issue with the TV. My neighbor owns a TV repair shop and you know how people are , they don't wanna give out free info , he said they are throw away TV's . It cost $1100 at the time about 4 years ago . I don't really wanna throw it away . HELP PLEASE !!!!!!!!! I can send video if you want , just let me know where to send .
I'm determined to fix this thing as long as it's not the buffer boards on LCD , I'm thinking it would be like a relay type thing or transistor controlling the every 3 second problem, lol
Did you ever get this resolved? It definitely sounds like a main board issue.I'd get one from a seller who actually sells tv parts and knows what they're doing vs someone who just thinks their issue was a bad panel when in fact it was the main board.Let me know how you make out please.I try to stay on top of the latest issues with certain models.
Working on this same tv, bought it for cheap because it wasn't working... took it home, plugged it in and to my surprise it turned on! However, 5 minutes later the c2 cap blew up in my face lol. I switched out that cap and it tuned on, but again, the cap i just put in started venting after 5 min... I'm wondering if it was just a crappy cap i put in, or if maybe something else is going on? I'm afraid to try again without being sure because the smell of the venting caps is ruthless... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
I have the same problem with 58” Vizio, it’s a 1 1/2 years old. I replaced the T-con board still no picture. Don’t know what to do next. If you have any suggestions it would greatly appreciated.
Hi there just wondering if you can help... my mates old Philips tv will not tune in to any tv stations but you can a dvd on it show the lcd is working. ..so how can I fix it or check the av antenna socket on the tv is working or not. Hey man, I'm a newbie. why does this one component run on 160 Volts if the US uses 110 and most other countries 230? what's the advantage for the manufacturer converting currencies up or down for a single component? :/ love your channel. keep doing what you're doing ;)
I have a Vizio 32 E-Series Smart TV. I have sound, and backlight. BUT not picture. When I turn the TV on it shows a blueish grey screen, the it starts 4 vertical sections, two stay the blueish gray, the other 2 start with tiny colored vert lines, then turn into a light grey. What do you think the issue is?
Hi thanks for your videos. i check all the voltages and i am not getting 12v into 2nd T con ribbon cable, the first ribbon cable on logic board pin 1 get 12v the second ribbon cable on logic board pin 1 is 0v, am i correct to think it's the logic board not sending 12v to T con 2nd ribbon cable?

I'm a novice, but willing to try anything safely. I have a Vizio XVT473SV with great picture and no sound (just went out while watching). I have gone through all the trouble shooting protocols and determined that the problem is internal. Question #1: Should the audio DC volts from the power board to the logic board be @ 3.200? #2: What should the voltage test indicate between the logic board connection to the speakers? Thanks.
On the power board on one fitting, the diagram on the board itself indicates 5v for the first two on the bottom and the next three lines on both sides 12v. When I tested the first two were 5v as indicated but the other six were 19+volts. What will cause such power to change?

My LG tv video is showing a snowy screen, but static picture/menu and audio is fine. Looked at the capacitors based on one of yoru videos...none showing damage. Do you think it's just a bad main board?
Hi ! Question : When i turn on the TV (SHARP), there’s a “double image” / “ghost” problem on the whole screen (both sides L/R). When i unplug the LEFT ribbon cable (output) from the T-CON board that goes to the LEFT buffer board, the image on the RIGHT side is NORMAL (!!) If i re-plug the left ribbon cable to the TCON board, the problem happens again. Would that be more likely a T-CON board issue, a ribbon cable issue, or the actual buffer board ??? Should i get 6V readings on the soder pads on the left side (output) on the TCON ? If not .... there’s the problem. Thanks !
Very helpfull videos, very well explained, thank you
I really enjoy your videos. I used to work on some older TV's and VCR's. Good to see how to troubleshoot the newer ones. Keep it up.
Hey Your Good, I really appreciate your explanation of trouble shooting. thank you
Very informational thurogh and helpfull. Only question I have is my TV shows all proper voltage except power to back lights. How do I troubleshoot that part of the power board.
You are definitely the man. I subbed twice🙄🙄🙄
Very and highly informative. Thank you recommend visiting to all
You are the best man 🙄👍.
Great video! I have a 4x5 area upper left that's like a brown splotch. It's a Vizio M65 C1. Have you seen this issue?
Loved this Thanks
Thx for you how to videos. Fixed my pos Vizio with a used $15 t-con board from eBay. Now I’m returning my new 85” Samsung 😢
Yes! it was ! but darn I have no tools!
This is awesome man! Thanks for sharing
Great video, but I have a question. Are you using the tile adhesive in the shot for repair of electronics?
Great video as usual
Thanks
Thanks
You are the best tech bro
I really appreciate all of the work you have presented. I have watched probably 8 or 9 of your videos and read some of your blog. I am trying to debug my mother's Westinghouse LTV-32W6. It has power, sound (at least a squealing sound), and backlights, but no video on screen. Her tv's t-con board is not accessible without moving the main board and power board, so I can't test it the way you indicate plugged in..
I should be able to test the power out of the power board to the t-con board, is that enough to say it is the t-con board that is bad? How do I differentiate between t-con and inverter board?
dwoods
another great video. Thanks a lot buddy
You have very informant videos I have a hisense HDTV looking for a video on humming sound need your help thanks
You need to get same value 68uf cap and might be more bad capacitors nearby.
Good work brother Thank.u
Thx much
David, I have the same problem. How did you resolve the issue? Did you replace the main board?
(one closest to the bottom of TV) How can Repair the main board? I have plenty of extra parts from other sets, as i am venturing in this for a hobby. Just need to know what to test from here.
I have a question can you put the same parts and all the TVs or do you have to be the same ones like the motherboard like that
Hey love the content--was hoping to get your opinion on an issue I'm having with my Sony XBR65x900H LED smart tv. This is more of a hobby than something I must have fixed, so any insight is appreciated!
thankfully Sir and God bless
Thanks you!
Nice info,
Thank you.
Hi and thanks for the tutorial, but can you tell me what led I can use to get my bauhn 40 inch led smart TV working. The manufacturer said they don't have any more stock available for this TV. Can you help
thank so much it really helps me... love from philippines
Still don't know what the name of them but testing with a meter after your video I've located the shorted parts yes not just one
One part sucked the solder up through the board and another blew its top off leaving no info so I hope my local electronic shop can help me out

I want to make a constructive criticism so that it helps us and you also help him in the visits. creating subtitles in Spanish would be great for people who don't know English. Right now this is translated by an app because I do not speak English and they recommended your channel. Thank you very much for your work.
Are there some upstream components I can check to see where I'm shorting out?
thank you for all the info..i share it to my student..and the tips and lcd led repair..helps a lot of student..god bless and ..god job...:)
thanks

what would the wires be for a vizio 502ui-b1e tv? it doesn't label a t con wire.
Thanks for awesome videos ! I would like now where can I get a Fluke 12 multitester like you ! thanks Tampa Tec
Help,!
Tampatec you mentioned replacing a vizio screen panel display. Just wondering where can I find sharp aquos 60" used screen.
Hey tampa tech. Great work.. thin blue line from to bottom of the screen. Any ideas of issue that may cause it
It doesn’t appear he answers anything from here. Lol
Hi! Thanks for video. Can you help me please, have a sharp lc-65le643u and show green line on all image
Same problem here 😞
Hi tampatec hi i got a vizio e701i-a3 lftrnxbp3100618 been watching your videos and jimmys videos and ive narrowed my tv down to no voltage on the t con on but have 12 v on the 12v tcon side whats your intake on which part to replace i have back lights but no picture
On a Vizio SV470M what should the voltage be at the power board on the wire labeled on/off when I turn the power on?
Hey Tampa Tec, I have a strange problem and I hope You can help me cuz I'm at a stand still. I have a 50" Vizio 3D Model
Sometimes I get bad boards on Ebay.
But doing the exact same thing ? What are the chances , lol
would it be the Tcon ?
I'm determined to fix this thing as long as it's not the buffer boards on LCD , I'm thinking it would be like a relay type thing or transistor controlling the every 3 second problem, lol
Did you ever get this resolved? It definitely sounds like a main board issue.I'd get one from a seller who actually sells tv parts and knows what they're doing vs someone who just thinks their issue was a bad panel when in fact it was the main board.Let me know how you make out please.I try to stay on top of the latest issues with certain models.
Where can you purchase led light other than Shop Jimmy, I have lights but they are out of stock.
As I've try the same antenna on nother tv and that is working so the antenna is not at fault. Much appreciated for help
Hey man, I'm a newbie. why does this one component run on 160 Volts if the US uses 110 and most other countries 230? what's the advantage for the manufacturer converting currencies up or down for a single component? :/
love your channel. keep doing what you're doing ;)
What??
In ordering the tcon board, does it matter if its a ZH vs ZM at the end of the part #?
I have a Vizio 32 E-Series Smart TV. I have sound, and backlight. BUT not picture. When I turn the TV on it shows a blueish grey screen, the it starts 4 vertical sections, two stay the blueish gray, the other 2 start with tiny colored vert lines, then turn into a light grey. So I have 4 vert sections, and no picture. I don't get any words at any time. I checked the IR sensor using your instructions from this site, and that is not the issue. What do you think the issue is?
I just replaced the Tcon board thinking it was bad in my tv. That’s not the case. Do you have any idea what could be making this distorted screen?
Hi thanks for your videos. i check all the voltages and i am not getting 12v into 2nd T con ribbon cable, the first ribbon cable on logic board pin 1 get 12v the second ribbon cable on logic board pin 1 is 0v, am i correct to think it's the logic board not sending 12v to T con 2nd ribbon cable?
I am having the same issue with the second ribbon cable reading 0 V at pin 1. Did you ever determine what the cause of this problem was. Do you know what parts would need to be replaced (main logic board, t-con board, power supply, ribbon cables)?
@@michaeltremblay4221 No i still have the same issue LEDs are on but no image. i replaced both the main logic board and the T-con board at same time it did not work, luckily i got my money back. The only part left is the power supply board, but i am getting all the correct voltages printed on the P/S board. I gave up on it i'll try some other time.
Superb master ..
Thank You for the Upload TampaTec :D Will TVs Always have a "T-Con" board? If not, would it be combined with the "Main Logic Board"? jw
I remember you mentioning it b4 but I wasn't sure which video it was. Sorry for not googling :P
all LCD and led TVs have tcon boards, sometimes tcon circuit is built into main board.
ah ok. Thank's man :D
no prob, you were right the whole time, tcon circuit sometimes are built into main boards.

Thanks !
