I saw a game walkthrough,and apparently,in the spirit realm,if you bark at a spirit and they bow at you,you’ve found another spirit,like how you free corrupted spirits by giving the body the staff. If you look in options,you can look in rewards,and if you have found all of the spirits for a certain part of the game,you can get a new skin for the fox. I got one,which was the fox skin that you can get for helping all the spirits in the corrupted castle thing before the spirit realm chapter.
Oh my gosh, I thought I was curious about the story before, but now?! I have so many questions! The corruption is just the dead?! And since the followers we're red (symbolizing corruption) before you set them free, how did you make it to the spirit realm when they had to be set free from the corruption first? Agh! This is getting so interesting!
I like how Seri first picked up about what was happening like 5 min after of All the forshadowing. (At 6:24.) And the pure confusion at 6:57, like we know Seri, we noticed when we walked into the room.
Tip you need to follow the lights from the fox statues and the people to get to your destination. Fun fact, all the people that you have helped this is where they come, so the more you find, the more you will see :)
I have a theory: the original spirit fox was a spirit from heaven who died, and the people worshiped it cuz they thought it was an “angel” from heaven... and this blue forest that your in is “heaven”. I suspect after the fox dies the game brings you into the forest if you freed enough of the worshipers of the spirit fox. Maybe you have a minimum amount of spirits to free in order to acend to heaven. Perhaps if you don’t have enough you just get stuck in the corrupted caves....?
Seri, you should give the fox a name so you don't have to keep referring to them as "the fox". And also name the spirit fox so you don't have to refer to them as "the spirit fox".
