Hey Moira! Now that I've watched your walkthrough for Secrets Can Kill, I forget how much I loved this game. And hey, when I finished this game all by myself I was so proud! First of all, all the clues that are scattered around are sometimes HARD to notice, so I'm impressed by that!!!!:):) Second, the top notch commentary helps me get a deeper understanding of the game! Thanks so much for providing this help for me and other Nancy Drew fans! These videos are great tutoring for my Nancy Drew walkthroughs next year :) Daryl is also very annoying at the beginning, and I hate the fact that Nancy puts on a very flirty voice at the beginning BEFORE TELLING HIM SHE IS DATING NED. Anyway, top notch first class walkthrough! Really enjoyed it! -Samuel Graham Audiobooks
Now THIS is the kind of comment I love to get on my longer videos, such as these walkthroughs!!! 😁😁😁 Thank you SO much for this, Samuel! 😊🥰😍❤ I'm glad to hear that you were proud when you finished the game by yourself. 😉 Secrets Can Kill isn't one of my top favorite ND games, but because it is the first one, it does give me nostalgic memories. What I do love about it is all the hidden clues, codes, and messages it contains because of how they connect to the story arc by foreshadowing key moments that will come later and giving helpful tips to solve puzzles. The easiest clue? A book in Eloise's house that shows the first letters of the names of each of the pictured flowers colored green, spelling out "Mitch", who turns out to be Jake's killer. And of course, I'm ELATED that you enjoyed my commentary of the game! ❤❤❤ A major goal I had with making walkthroughs of the games with my commentary is to help other fans and players, specifically newcomers to the series, get a better understanding of them. One of my approaches to that is explaining how to solve difficult puzzles and where/how to find the hints and solutions to them. I want people to know that there are clues and tips to solving some of the more challenging puzzles, particularly in later games, even if they don't always seem obvious. But if they're still having trouble figuring out the answers on their own, they can just watch my videos to find them. 😉😊 Yeah, I was kind of perplexed that Nancy speaks to Daryl in a very flirty voice before she finally tells him about Ned. I don't know if I want to call her a hypocrite, but maybe she was just flattered to realize another boy was interested in her. I didn't think Daryl was that bad, to be honest, but I thought his SCK Remastered counterpart was MUCH more annoying with how he constantly tries to flirt with Nancy despite her reminding him repeatedly that she is already seeing someone! I think Rick Arlen is worse, though, because I hate his smooth and suave demeanor as he continuously flirts with Nancy, even though her vocal tone towards him during their conversations makes it perfectly clear that she's not the least bit interested in him. Thank you once again for enjoying my walkthrough and commentary for SCK, Samuel! 😁😁😁 I can't wait to hear more from you on my other walkthroughs, and I hope they will provide help for you when you start your own walkthroughs of them next year! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yes, it worked so perfectly, and I couldn't have done any of it without your video! This isn't one of my favorite games in the series, but it was still a great joy to play it again after not having done so for over ten years! Thanks so much once again, and you're welcome for the shoutout! 😁👍🏻❤
I actually had found it interesting that, in the original version of Secrets Can Kill, Daryl just lets Nancy go into the kitchen since it's supposed to be just for employees...but I guess it's because he knows she may need to look there as part of her investigation. But in the remastered version of the game? Daryl STILL says nothing, even though he actually doesn't know Nancy is a detective investigating Jake's murder! 🤨🤔
Oh yeah, me too! 😁😄 I was always confused and intrigued that this was the only game to have the suspects in 2D animation with 3D environments, while all succeeding games had them in both 3D animation AND environments. 🤨🤔

You entered the burger joint's kitchen? You're off the case!

@@HAFanForever huh. good point
It was always interesting to me how only this game would depict the characters in 2D animation integrated into 3D environments.
