Yo! I’m working like crazy right now! I’ll respond to comments in a little bit. Makidada!!!!!
Hey Faye and family 💯🦾😇😇💜💜💜
I appreciate your rawness and honesty. Hang in there 🙏🏽🌻
Love you Faye
Where you just in Vegas I think you spoke to me
The entire reason I got the sleeve was PCOS/fibroids/conception.
I am not married or even in a committed relationship but your journey inspired me. I was not interested in conception bc I am not in a committed relationship but something about your journey made me pay attention. So even now I’m still very single but I got the surgery to increase my fertility. And I believe I will have the babies God set out for me to have.
Thank you Mrs. Faye I'm in the hospital now just had my procedure done on Tuesday. Trying to keep my fluids down has been a battle but I'm getting there
Listen to every word she’s sharing. I was sleeved in 2016 and she speaking facts!!!
@@ShakiraKGardner yes ma'am thank you so very much. I definitely was listening it came at the right time. Blessings to you also. Thank you.
Bless you and take care 🙏🏼
@@mightystrong5484 Thank you so much
Praying for a speedy recovery ❤️🩹
You are speaking STRAIGHT FACTS. Chubby and solid was my vibe. I am going through it! But I am also GRATEFUL for my stamina! I can do stairs and gym stuff and I was not able to do that Preop!
My surgery worked so well that I ended up having to be put on an appetite stimulant about a year out. My weight was 118 & I was still losing, from my highest weight of 220, when I spoke to my PCP about my lack of hunger & continued weight loss. The stimulant worked & I was able to eat more often. Now I’m off the meds (my choice) & I ate my way back to 149-152 (I yo-yo). now I’m struggling to get back down to about 138-140, but now I have to actually put in the work. When before I didn’t do anything to lose the weight, it just fell off. All 6 of my incision scars are there & visible. I recommend doing the 1 incision option, where they go through your navel. I hate my scars. No major noticeable loose skin, but I do now have visible cellulite on my thighs & stretch marks that are obvious to me. My breast took the hardest hit with that fast weight loss. They’re giving deflated balloons & one nipple is now inverted, but I plan on getting them fixed.
I never eat popcorn but tell me why I’m eating popcorn right now. I felt so called out. 🤣 BUT God willing July 1st I’ll get approved for surgery. Thanks so much for sharing your journey Faye. It really encouraged me to pursue this option for my own health and happiness.
Just started the video, I about cried when you said no intro. I mean no roll that beautiful bean footage?!?!
😂😂😂 I thought the video might be too long! My bad!
@@FayeInTheCity Girrrl you know we’re gonna watch it anyway!!
Hey Faye &lil champ, I'm here to cosign on everything you said on this video. As a fellow sleeve sis you hit the nail on the head. I'm 8 yrs out & it still isn't the easy way out as some ignorant folks will say. You still have to keep up what you started or old habits will creep back in. It was really a mind fk at times but so worth it in the end.
One of the things I admire about you Faye is that you show so much independence with the way you talk to the way you act. I admire women who don’t give so much credit to their spouses or family friends but just uplift yourself as if no one is around. You’re entire video shows this! And I appreciate this ma’am ☺️
Thank you for the tips! I wrote them down. Thank you times ten for talking about dumping as I was told incorrectly, too. Your updates keep me encouraged to keep working for a healthy lifestyle!!
Thank you so much for this. I’ve been on the fence, mainly out of fear of the unknown, but this has helped me tremendously!
Awe congrats and blessings to you and the lil one, motherhood is a beautiful journey. It’s such a precious sight seeing the lil one lay on your chest💜
Thank you for this informative video. That dumping will have you calling for your mama.
Hi nephew!!! To see the joy in your face when you talk & hold your baby is everything.

MIss Faye, I am SO glad I found you. I am researching VSG and everything you have said in this and your 1-year video motivated me. (not to say I love the energy). Let me tell you, you look good sis! Those scars are badges of honor chile, you earned them! As you said, part of the journey. New Subscriber!

This was a very good video!! Thanks for sharing...sweet precious baby ❤❤❤
Beautiful Blessings Faye….Motherhood looks great on you!!!💝💐🙏🏽
Thank you, this video came right on time. I'm two months post-op VSG and I was going to ask about what products did you use for scars. Thanks for saving me a lot of money because I was going to buy all the products you were naming.

Great video, I’m a vsg patient I have lost 105lbs since my surgery in October 2021
Faye, the whole video is worth watching (per usual) just to get to the last frame. That's beautiful!🥰🥰🥰
Thank you sis!
I get mines soon thank you for the update sis!!!! 😊
I love Noom! I've lost 70lbs in 2 years, 50 of that since starting Noom in February.
Tell me about it. You are speaking the truth empty calories you can eat very easily. I have gained back not where I was but it's getting up there.
Fay, I am 20+ yrs post and baby you gotta love the loose skin‼️ Especially if you don't have any desire to go back under the knife. Much love Faye, good luck.
I know what you mean, Faye with the psychological aspect of weight loss. I’ve lost almost 30 lbs several years ago and even though it wasn’t a huge amount, my body was different. It was the skinniest I’ve ever been in my life since I was like 5 😂 it felt weird. I felt odd being that slim and it took a while for me to get used to it. I gained some weight since quarantine and I’m on another journey to lose weight but I’m gonna be at a better mental space this time around. I’m more focused on trying to be fit and healthy rather than just losing weight and being “skinny”.
I’m just waiting on nutrition and psychology to approve, hopefully in the next few days 🤞🏼 but your videos has really been very informational!! Thank you so much!!! Your amazing!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I hope you got approved, if so blessings to you on your journey. Take care.💝
Thank you! Confidence 100%💯
Hey Faye and family 😘💕 you are so amazing and beautiful, inside and out 😊 keep being you and love on your family 😍🤗
Love you Faye!! You’re a real inspiration❤️❤️❤️
Wow this is my 6 months post oop from Bypass. Everything you've said is spot on. My dietitian just said that my "honeymoon" phase may be coming to an end. I don't see what everyone sees, and people are mean. I also suffer from dehydration. I get IV therapy once a month. Thank you for this.
HIM SO CUUUTTTEEEE!! I love the babies 😍😍🥰🥰
How precious! The baby is totally worth it all. : )
This is such a helpful video. Thank you.
Soooo happy I found your videos!!! I had the sleeve in June 2022, 8 months ago. I am 67 years old. I have had a few trials and tribulations on my journey. I had back surgery a month ago and recovery is slow and at this point not sure if it even worked. Therefore I cant go to a gym and work outs are very difficult because of the pain I am constantly in. I am praying that one day at a time I will heal and be able to get healthy and to my weight goal. I have lost 60 lbs so far. Hearing about the honeymoon ending makes me a tad nervous. I feel blessed to be in a time that protein products are all the rage. I find that you have to experiment to find ones that work for you. I have gagged and gurgled with some of those shakes for sure! I found Gen Pro and that is a life saver for me. I can put it in everything. I have found 2 shakes that I can handle. I agree with Ms Faye about dumping. When I finally ventured out for a dinner we went to a Japanese restaurant where they cook the food at your table. I knew I couldnt eat much but thought I could handle shrimp and chicken and the soup. Good protein right?! They cook in so much oil, I am so grateful that I made it to the bathroom in time. It wasnt pretty! I find anything with oil is not good for this old lady Another time about a month later I was with my hubby and ate a handful of this french fries and again barely made it to the bathroom. So no more fried foods for me! I am also losing my hair. THis is really bothering me and I go to the doctor next week and will address what to do. I took Ms Fay's suggestion and drink a little juice and will eat the occasional carb so I dont think it is the Keto part. I too am worried about the skin flaps and listening to Ms Faye speak on vanity...hit me in the feels. I will take it as it comes. Good part is I am no longer on insulin for diabetes! I also have protein snacks that are new to the market. Like Quest and IQ bars...I always have them in my purse When you dont feel like eating it can be hard to get enough protein. So eating a half a bar at a time might be all I can handle. Then I can eat the other half later! THanks for giving me a spot to share as I do feel alone in this journey so once again so glad I found Ms Faye's videos.
I’m thinking about going through weight loss surgery and appreciate you sharing your experience, both good and bad.
I have heard that natural things like black seed oil and sea moss might help with hair loss. This is a concern for me because I have locs that I’ve grown for 19 years now and worry about it thinning and having to cut it. And I’ve used black seed oil in the past and it helped with thickening up my hair so I recommend researching it and considering it if nothing has helped so far.
Wishing and praying you have had a great journey since your last post!
Hi Faye, I don’t know anything about the sleeve, but I had Gastric Bypass Surgery February 2003. Post surgery I was 311 lbs and after 19 year in, I weigh 163 lbs. I would do it all over again if I was to gain the weight back. Like you prior to surgery I did not have a child but two year later to my surprise came a baby girl who is now 16.
Good luck on your weight loss journey. ❤️
Love this I’m 2 months in and I’m grateful she said something about the 6 month period! I lost my booty and I’m self conscious and I feel less than. I’m appreciative of my weight loss but my booty that one hurt😢
Your little one is SO BEAUTIFUL!!! 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
I get my surgery done on the 30th. I am excited. My family is my support system. I kept putting it off. So know I am mentally ready. I think the pre-op is going to kick my ass just liquid.. I don't like the protein shakes but I am going to get it down. So thank you for this knowledge.
Try mixing the milks. I drink half a chocolate Ripple protein shake and almond milk with vital proteins collagen and it’s super nice. I’m nervous for the preop too my consultation is 6/17!
Motherhood looks beautiful on you!
I work for a doctor who recommends Noom to a lot of patients to help with weight loss. Good program
Love you Faye!!!
Love ya right back!
Not on a weight loss journey but I came to the comments to find out what this hair is you have in?! It is CUTE!!! It looks so natural and I love it. Please share..
Thank you so much!
I did not have weight loss surgery but I lost over 100 pounds and I hear you on the loose skin. I was planning on getting it removed but after hearing about the scars, I decided to deal with the loose skin.
Thank you for your great content. I’m scheduled for bypass surgery in August. I’m a little scared but it helps to get educated and hear your experience. Thank His for your little one ☝️. We had infertility for 8 Yrs. When god gave us our daughter we were so grateful No she’s going to make me a grandma after 30 yrs since we had her
Good info!
Thank you. I'm going in for the Sleeve in 2 weeks
I just started noom!!!
I just love you play-cousin😍
People are rude for no reason whatsoever. The goal is to get to a healthy weight. Sure it's great if someone can do it naturally, but having the option to have the surgery if needed is a good thing IMHO. I lost 110lbs naturally, but that doesn't make my weight loss any better than someone who lost 110lbs by having surgery. Whatever happened to being happy for someone bettering their health instead of putting them down for their choice of how they did it?
I know you're talking about weight loss surgery, but let me just say you can experience dumping and not have any weight loss surgery. I have IBS, and chile dumping has been a long-time companion. You are right it is no fun.
I want to SQUEEEEEZE that baby! HE IS SO BEAUTIFUL 😍 I love everything about all your tips but the second that angel came out I was like TO THE COMMENTS
Look at that precious baby
I’m so happy for you! I know this is off topic but do you have info on this hair? I’m sorry I know we’re not here for that 🤦🏾♀️
So happy your journey gave you the greatest result..your beautiful baby boy! 🎉😍❤️
This is Gonna B so Good Faye🔥🔥🔥👍….
Heyyyyy!
Thank you for this, I'm on a weight loss journey and I'll be getting gastric bypass. I know I'll need to know everything you said today... again.... THANK YOU 😊
And hey nephew, this is t-t Leslie....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️💙💙💙
Bless the hands of the surgeons and nurses operating on your body. I declare God’s protection and strength over your life before and and after the surgery. May you heal and recover quickly, in Jesus Mighty and precious name.
@@FearfullyandWonderfullyMade. Amen 🙏
I want to thank you for being so honest and forthright about the trials and triumphs of your weight loss journey. I'm not sure if I were in your position if I'd be as candid and open. 💖😍💖😍💖😍💖
Sweet baby!
Hello there Faye, not a very important question, but I love your lip gloss. What's the brand and color, if you don't mind sharing that information? You are beautiful. Thank you.
Oh gosh he is adorable
My issue is the loss of my breast. I’ve had 6 kids and breastfed all of them. I kept plump breast. I lost 70lbs and now they’re pancakes😂.
FACTS 😩 right at my six month post op
Hi pumping will increase your milk flow good after feeding
100% agree with everything you said. Very informative video. 👏🏾
You are so pretty
You telling the truth. With Bypass you usually have a 1 year “honeymoon” stage. The slider foods will get you
🇬🇧🙋🏾♀️Mama and baby beauty 🙌🏾💜❤️💜
I agree with all these!!! Sleeved 4/2016
How soon after your surgery did you get pregnant
Heyyy boo...
Who did your surgery
💛💛💛💛
I'll say it for you... " hayyyy chillllle"
Hey Chile, I think your very pretty and you don't have to explain yourself to know one as long as your husband tells you that your beautiful that's tge only thing should matter. And I you decide later in life to get the extra skin removed again that's your choice only. The baby is getting big I know you can't wait to watch him do all the little things to document. I'll definitely keep you in prayer along the the other two men in your life.🙏🏾🤗💝💝💝
🤩 Chile!!!! 😊
