I have to slightly disagree with the almost Soundcore app . After the last couple of updates to the Tozo app they have passed my Soundcore app in quality as well as content .
I just got the Tozo crystal buds and I love them so much!! Crystal clear sound, such comfort... beautiful fit and design! I can't say enough positive things about the crystal buds!
Me too I just got it a few days ago , sound amazing very clear the trabble is onther level . Better than samsung buds 2 and apple pro. The bass is good but not pinchy
I'm still in love with my TOZO NC7's. Sure they lack Hi-Res LDAC Buuut...the sound quality is phi-nominal and at the $44 or less I can suffer without those glossy extras which I have in other high dollar IEM's. Great review though, Bran.

That's expensive for a pair of Tozo's compared to previous models, but it's a tantalizing pair of earbuds and a stellar review as always. I also heard that the X1 does not have an optical ear sensor... shame at this price point.
Great review, as usual. :) TOZO is a good company. I've got a pair of the Crystal Buds and the only thing I can really ding them for is no ANC. It'll be interesting to see how well the Golden X1's sell. TOZO has positioned itself as a budget brand, and they have a lot of great earbuds that cost less than these. That's potentially a problem for them.
I used Liberty 4 NC on both iPhone 14PM with AAC and S23U with LDAC. I literally noticed no diff and in fact 14PM was more spacious..AAC is so well implemented on Apple...that it is equivalent to LDAC on Android..
Ldac on soundcore is for marketing. It doesn't have enough hardware quality to present the difference between aac and ldac. Try hifiman svanar wireless and see the difference between aac and ldac.
Back in 2020 tozo and tranya were my first 2 ear buds. 3 years later look how far the technology has come. Since those early days Earfun and Soundcore are my go to...however, tozo still is on my radar and your review just cements my thinking. Hey now Fran makes an appearance for qi charging.

Good review. Been eying these buds. I have T10’s and T12’s. So have had Tozo for years now. The T12’s have the exact same digital display on the case and 12mm drivers but man these look nice.
Well, apparently it's 6 months later, and I'm upgrading from the NC7's to these. :) I should get them by Monday. This'll be my first pair of LDAC-enabled earbuds, so it'll be interesting to see if I hear a difference.
@@biancarandolph2480 I love them. :) The sound with LDAC is phenomenal, the ANC is very solid, and the display inside the case lets you know if the buds are charging. That's been a problem with some other earbuds, because sometimes you *think* they're charging, but you pick them up and the case is fully charged, but the earbuds aren't. The only thing I can really ding them for is battery life. That's not great. With the ANC and LDAC codec on, at around 40% volume, I can get maybe 2.5 hours out of the earbuds on a charge. Luckily they recharge pretty quickly.

I got the Crystal Buds right before I learned about these. Good buds actually. I don’t really miss the LDAC. For $100 more, is the noise canceling/transparency worth it?
i've got tozo t6 for when i am bike riding and listening to audio books. i've long preferred wired headphones to wireless because of sound quality, and i've spent tons of money on great headphones... i've got an older set of in ear shure se530's that were at the time 500 bucks... i do not say that to brag, but to make a point. a couple years ago i learned of the 'chifi' trend of well made inexpensive headphones and i got a 50 buck set of KZ ZS10 pro's. they SMOKE the shures, 1/10th the cost! I've also got several other headphones for different situations, amps as well... but the KZ's are the headphones i use the most. they're a wired set of in ears, i have a sony walkman hi rez DAP i listen to music on when i'm out and about.... (i'm a dinosaur, i never use a phone for music) anyways, good video! i was wondering when an affordable in ear with LDAC would show up!

So I’ve noticed with the x1 that when I’m listening to music on my iPhone 14 pro max whether it be using a 3rd party app for music or Apple Music. When someone calls me the earbuds just go silent. And the phone doesn’t even vibrate. There’s not one single thing that allows me to know a call is incoming other than music stopping and that could be when I run into a “dead zone” at work. Mind you I work in a factory but with my NC9 tozo id get the ring sound in the earbuds along with my phone vibrating. With these x1s the music will stop but there is no audible sound nor will my phone vibrate at all. So I’ve missed many important calls… any suggestions anyone?

If anything earbuds like these show how overpriced some TWS are; including the AirPods/Pro. Even the recently released Earfun Air Pro 3 gives you a high quality codec, ANC, ambient mode, and full control on the earbuds for less than $100. It is unfortunate not many people know about the other brands. In brick and mortar stores usually there are terrible earbuds and next to them you either have Apple, Sony, Bose, Beats, and no other options.
Apple won't get that apple has to pay to use that and that never good for them they are probably going to make something subpar to say they have something like it
Why would Apple do this??? They have complete control over their ecosystem. This allows them to maximize product acceptability and efficiency within said system as well as preventing potential outside corruption. They’ve always ceded the sound quality war to android and it hasn’t hurt them one bit.
Then explain to me why Apple has to finally bite the bullet and make there next phones with a USB-C charging port? You’ll most likely say because there being forced to But I say it’s us as the consumer that would like these up to date options. So yes having the option to use LDAC is a nice idea😎
They're literally being forced to. They'd lose the entire EU market if they don't comply. Apple has too many fanboys to care about a handful of people's opinions. Literally took a government to change their tune.
What a big disappointment the x1 are….. when doing a review, please ….. run them . Guys like me listen load. These distorted at high volume. Nice soundstage I must say.. but ….. I want to know if they breakdown at the high end… for example; my one plus take what Ever I give them.. I’m going to give them as a gift, or sell$
X1 was huge let down. Bass wasnt loud. Overall volume was loud at all. They fit very nice in the ear. Battery life isnt near 8 hours with anc off... im legit disappointed.
@amijoe1408 i emailed tozo to ask if they could raise the gains.. maybe have access to a engineer mode. Well.. you can imagine they didnt even respond to my request but did give me another set lol
