I do love Tozo. This is a huge leap for them. I may get a pair because they are a good brand. Didn't realize this pair has been in the works for three years. Thanks Jeff
You absolutely should buy these. these earbuds destroy the competition. Except Sony. No one can beat the Sony linkbuds s and Sony Wf-1000xm4 in terms of sound quality.
@Sam Zpen no offense but the xm4 are one of shittiest pairs of earbuds I've bought. Great anc good transparency but absolute lackluster sound for price when they first released . Or even on sale for 229 They are a pair that made me happy for best buy return policy. I'd expect these tozo to wipe the floor with xm4 and can't speak for linkbuds s as I won't buy those but Def for me I'm not a fan of the xm4. With brands like soundcore edifier earfun and soundpeats I actually won't ever buy Sony or bose ever again. Now if bose or Sony come out with something and legit reviewers like jefe or slang or GameSpy or techmoe for example review em amd say these are the best sounding earbuds they've tried and warrant their extremely high price tags then I'd prolly consider it but if it's CNET or Forbes stating that I will continue to laugh at them and know they're full a bologna. Best anc sure it's gonna be Sony or bose but I'd much rather have way better sound and dang near as good anc or better transparency at fraction of their cost
I picked these up about a week ago and I gotta say, for their first shot at a flagship earbud Tozo did an admirable job. The ANC is very good and the sound quality is truly amazing. The combination of equipment Tozo used provides a type of sound that I've never heard before. The clarity is excellent, but what surprised me most was how clean and effective the bass is. It comes in fast with a definite strong thump and just as quickly it came in, it retreats without muddying up the clarity or making instruments difficult to decipher. You're right on the money regarding listening to music with the ANC on. The bass gets a distinctive boost to the point that I had to dial it back on the EQ. I also listen with the buds set in the "off" position. Overall these are a great earbud, but just like any first attempt there's things that could be improved upon.

Thanks Gamesky. I appreciate your outstanding analysis/reviews as always. I was waiting on a review of these. It might be possible for TOZO for improve the sound in ANC mode via a firmware update in the future. It is interesting that there is no mention of a fast charge feature. Great review as always even though I don’t need another pair I do come by to show some support when I can . You are one of my favorite RUclips channels to watch along with Digital slang and El jefe
Okay, I've had these for about a year now, and I can confirm that they're pretty great. :) I'm not a basshead, so the bass is fine for me. And with the LDAC, I can hear things I've never heard in my music before. The hearing test in the app also helps. The ANC is excellent. It blocks out air conditioner sounds, and it blocks out my air filter I have running on my desk. It doesn't block out all engine sounds when I'm outside rolling around in my chair, but I wouldn't want it to block all of that out, anyway. I just need it to block enough out that I can hear my music or podcast without turning the sound up. The only thing I haven't liked so far is the charging. Too often, the case will say that both buds are charged to 100%, but I'll take them out of the case, look at the app, and the app'll say I'm only at 50% on one of the earbuds. But that's a minor gripe.
Thank you so much for EVERYTHING you have done. Your perspective, and the way you review is outstanding. I wish you nothing but the BEST, and look forward to seeing you in whatever else you do.

I'm upgrading from the NC7s to these. I've also had the Crystal Buds (on your recommendation :)), so TOZO is a company that I trust to deliver quality earbuds at a decent price. I'm a little wary, because I'm not a basshead, but hopefully I can EQ these down to where I like them. :)

These look pretty good, but there's a sense in which Tozo is competing with themselves here. The hi-fi sound seems to be the big draw with these, so I guess that makes them worth it for some people, but Tozo's lineup is so *good* that you can find earbuds with good sound, ANC, and wireless charging for a lot less than these cost. So to me, these seem like audiophile earbuds. Which is great for a lot of people, but I'm over 50, so I think they'd probably be lost on my hearing. :) Great review, as always. :)

There is more options out there than just Sony that are safe bets for Android!
@@roguegorilla8981 Not the case with LinkBuds S! Works pretty well with both android and iPhone! I use it with both iOS and Android, excellent option and far more credible brand!
Great video. Much appreciated. Thanks Kefty (it was the nickname of a friend at school here in Manchester, England back in the 70's). Don't know where it came from but once he got that nickname I never called him Keith ever again. Lol.
I had the Tozo NC9's.. Weak ANC and Ambient mode. Unless these are 100% improved I'd not buy them. And (to me) these shouldn't be more than about $75
These look pretty good, but there's a sense in which Tozo is competing with themselves here.
Great review, as always. :)
These are 130 bucks and the Sony XM4 that sell on Best Buy for 280 are selling on ebay brand new for 120.....I got mine for 90. lol. Yeah I wouldn't want the Tozo's over the Sony.....no frikin way.
I wished they had a different name.. This name tozo sounds Chinese.. I know it's American
Terrible
Amazon UK must have a pricing error as these are £259.99
Did you buy the tozo x1 from amazon
@@Sabrinathedoggy No (and decided I will not be buying them) but the price is now what should be.
