"Pop some popsicles, ice some icicles, and test some test-..." 🤣 Thanks for this review, guys! I was interested in them, but at the price point there are better buds out there.
It's probably surprising to most around here, but my life does not revolve mostly around earbuds and headphones. This being the case, I can't possibly see why I would want to subscribe to a RUclips channel that clearly revolves around mostly earbuds and headphones. And yet, subscribed I am. The quality and quantity of information provided, not to mention the humor and entertainment value of these videos, has invagled me to subscribe.
@@DHRME Well, considering your current approach to programming, both your selections of subject matter and then your skill at presenting it, I would simply encourage you to continue doing what you're doing. You've nailed a difficult to target balance; you might fix it at your peril.
@@legitphantom5921 I would agree with this. In fact to date I think there only maybe 3 pairs with LDAC well-tuned enough for you to hear the resolution difference
Great review, guys! :) I just got these buds today. I'm liking them so far. This is my first pair of LDAC-capable earbuds, and also my first pair with 12mm drivers, and it seems to make a big difference. I don't know if the buds are louder than the NC7s, but I do hear things I didn't hear when listening to the NC7s in songs I'm familiar with. Compared to the NC7s, there's only one thing I wish they would change: I would prefer the modes be announced when you switched between transparency, normal mode, and ANC. I find the fact that the Golden X1s only give you a tone a little annoying.
@@PabloTheThinker I think the Golden X1s have a more secure fit. In terms of the ANC, I would also say the Golden X1s are better. They block out slightly more sound, once you get a good fit. Everything I've seen and read says that you'll get better ANC from the likes of the Sony XM4s or XM5s, but you'll also pay a lot more.
The stock tuning is way too bass heavy. Thankfully you can fix that with the EQ. I paid $135 for mine and have had them for 2 weeks. Very happy so far👍
I know of Tozo as a solid sub $50-100 budget brand. T12 Pro has that same great sound after taming the treble and battery/buds display feature. Quite the leapfrog past a lot of great brands/products you mentioned up to $150 for them. I think given the competition that price is going to come down.
For so many of these earbud reviews, my main takeaway is just now impressive the earbud technology has become. Newcomers have to be pretty high quality just to get *considered* when compared with the competition. I really like that mini-display in the case, but given how excellent the competition is I would not be willing to go with the relatively short battery life of these. And yet just two or three years ago battery life such as what's in these would have been fine.
Hello, which one do you prefer: Tozo Golden X1 or Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro? And why? I saw the videos of both of them and in both they say that they are one of the best. Thanks
Would you still consider the edifier neobuds pro the best mid-range earbuds? Seems there still isn't anything with the same combination of top tier sound, anc and transparency under 200$.
Well, I gave the *TOZO Golden X1* a try my friends. Call me spoiled, but they didn't compete with my many *Soundcore* buds or my pair of *Status Between Pros.* Already began the return process. I suppose when I try earbuds, these are the words I want to come to mind: _Crystal Clear Clarity.¹_ Be well. 🙋🏼♂️ ··•✺•·· ¹ ─ I realize that's somewhat redundant. 😏
Awesome review as always! Are you guys planning on reviewing the Status Between3 anc? I wouldn't purchase these at this price point. There are so many others available around 150 that are amazing. Also, rumor is Sonys XM5 buds are releasing soon
Please 🙏🏽 review the TOZO NC2 they got the original model and the upgraded version the second version got app support they are great and only cost $40 is a SOLID CHOICE against the Airpods pro 2
Nice review as always - but a little bit surprised that a no name product with less features and higher price as better tested brand product like JBL Live Pro 2 (paid 89 Euros past Christmas) or Sony Linkbuds S (115 Euros) gets such a good review. Worse battery live, worse ANC, transparency and call quality, no ear sensor, bulky case, and LDAC seems to be overrated - who can afford all these gadgets and still can hear above 15 or 17 kHz? 🤔 I don't get the point of the excitement this time 🤷🏼♂️ The priorities in my daily heavy use of Bluetooth audio are: reliability (Bluetoth in general and Multipoint especially with Windows Laptop and Samsung Smartphone is often a huge issue), comfort (I prefer my JBL Live Pro 2 but they still feel uncomfortable after longer use and I gave the extremely uncomfortable Sony LinkBuds S to my doughter who is happy with halve the size of my ears), ANC (open office space, 3D printer, construction work etc, Bose QC or just passive 3M over ear protection are best here), Call quality in noisy environments (loud diesel car on the highway, JBL Live Pro 2 and Sony Linkbuds S are better the the others), no noise while walking (LinksBuds S were terrible in this regard), comfort of listening to podcasts (stop on ear sensor, talk through should stop the podcast) and RUclips videos (reliable lip sync low latency connection).
to me i think LDAC is not worth all the compromise it shows like battery life and no multipoint for some buds or 'phones. I genuinely wouldn't be able to tell a difference between AAC and LDAC with a gun to my head lol
am i the only one thinking that the microphone quality of the tozo gold sounded so much worse than the others? it was at least 2 leagues below the linkbuds s

Another great Review guys. Love the awesome work. Keep doing what you’re doing

Hot take 😃: I'd rather have a set of well tuned buds and ditch LDAC in favour of battery life. LDAC is massively overated IMO

Like your videos. Can you make a video comparing Tozo Golden X1 vs EarFun Air Pro 3?
We mentioned the comparison at the end of the respective videos.
