I've had my onyx (black) 3ANC's for about 4 weeks. They are OUTSTANDING!! I use these strictly for music on my iPhone 13 Mini. Currently there's not much to the app for both ios and android but I have a strong feeling in the coming months, Status will add a lot more. If you're looking for earbuds for comfort and amazing sound, seriously go and buy a pair!!

THANK YOU for bringing up the issue of turning to transparency mode when starting a call! You are the first reviewers I’ve seen to raise this matter up. It seems to be a common issue for ANC buds (not ANC headphones apparently) and yet it’s mostly not talked about. It is super annoying in a loud environment: the surrounding sounds are amplified and you can’t focus on the conversation very well. My WF-1000XM4’s do that, and it seems it’s a ”feature” not a bug… apparently the mics are needed for picking up my voice, and separating it out of the background noise, and therefore ANC effectiveness is lowered. I have also Soundcore Sport X10 and it has the same issue, and I’ve read some comments that also Linkbuds S has it. Is it true? And how about Bose QC II for example? Are they using full-power-ANC also during calls? PS. It would be awesome if you could address this ability (of keeping ANC at full effect for the user during a call or not) in every future review!
Love your reviews. I've had the Status Between ANC for a few days and absolutely loving them. Audio quality is superb. What's really surprised me is how comfortable these are for me. The long battery life is a big plus. I'm not using these in situations where ANC and transparency are that important but they seem decent for those as well. And it's great having something that doesn't look like yet another apple earpod design or a button in your ear!
Great review! I have them and agree with just about everything you guys have said. I’m actually watching this using them to listen to the video. And what you guys have said about call quality is on point! 3 separate times I’ve heard that I was either muffled or sounded like a robot. I hope this gets fixed because I actually love everything else about the buds, especially the ANC!
I've purchased 3ANC a couple of months ago on sale for around$130. I ordered PerL Pro based on raving reviews a few days ago. They were also on 20% sale.The sound quality of these are SO close that I just couldn't justify paying almost $200 more for the Denons, so I sent them back. In my opinion and for my ears, the Denons are not really better. The sound stage even sounded more cramped than the 3ANCs even with the spatial audio on. Frankly, I couldn't really hear a huge difference between it being on or off. Kinda made me think that they might be faulty. Anyway. I'm very happy with the 3ANCs. Oh, and the battery with ANC off lasts over 8 hours on 80% volume! But... the search for the perfect pair still continues, and now I'm getting more and more curious about the Technics AZ80. I don't believe that the sound quality or the battery life will beat the 3ANCs, but they have other qualities I'd like to check out, and the app is lightyears ahead of the Status one. Will see if they'll go on sale. ;)

I purchased these earbuds primarily for music and hands-free use. Although they were advertised as having excellent noise canceling, ambient sound, and call quality with multiple microphones, I haven't come across any feedback regarding how bad those features were . Even after going through the process of obtaining a replacement pair( by having them have to hear how bad it sounds and weeks of explaining), I encountered the same issues with the new ones. Am I really the only one here who had the problem with the calls, noise cancellation and ambient sound?
It's been a journey. In need of earbuds that can handle calls as well as music and podcasts. I started out with the Linkbuds S, which were great aside from some connectivity issues. Thinking I could do better... I returned them and got the Jabra elite 5, which hurt my ears and gave me a headache. Finally I splurged on the $320 Poly Voyager Free 60+ which should've been the greatest earbuds ever made for PC and mobile. Great for PC, but horrendous for mobile and wouldn't stay in my ears. Tonight, I'll be picking up my second pair of Linkbuds S, thanks in large part to the advice of DHRME largely confirming what I knew all along, they are truly the best all-rounder. Thanks guys! Keep on pop pop popsicling.

Now that I was able to watch the whole review, I first will say, Great work like always guys 💯💪👍 I haven’t experienced that white noise with my set, thankfully, but I hate that you’re experiencing that issue. I absolutely enjoy using mine on a regular basis while having no complaints. I been telling everyone since I got mine at launch that I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a good overall set of wireless earbuds. I’m just hoping to see a comparison with the new Technics really soon 💯😂🤷♂️
They were my favorite earbuds for a long time. The comfort and fit along with amazing sound and ANC. . _.just sooooo good!_ The only issue I have had is battery life. Initially it was as advertised. But then dropped buy half. They kindly replaced my *L3P's,* but now those too have dropped to about half their original battery life. Honestly not sure this is a *Soundcore* problem, or just what is to be expected after a lot of use. 🤷🏼♂️ And they we're my primary earbuds. Because this happened again, I have tried less expensive earbuds. I grabbed some SoundPeats *Mini HS Pro* and *Opera05.* So far the sound has not been disappointing at all. I didn't buy the SoundPeats at normal price. I waited and shopped around. Have not been disappointed. Although, the *Opera05's* are quite chonky. They may not stay secure for some user's.
tbh i was very underwhelmed by these earbuds... i couldnt get a comfy fit or get a good seal and the sound signature i couldnt nail down either. im kinda disappointed in them
Hm I am still enjoying the galaxy buds pro, just had to use the warranty a month ago because one side didn't charge, so still good for another year, they are very comfortable, good sound, good battery life and they came with my s22 ultra.
Really good review fellas! I’m looking for a set for motorcycle riding. Sound quality is very important to me as I’m a bit of an “audiophile” off the bike BUT I’m more in need of something that protects my hearing, has decent ANC but doesn’t cut me off completely from my surroundings for safety. The phone call quality is a bottom priority for me as I ride to escape calls anyway. They would also need to stay put as I usually wear a half helmet. Again, I like the triple driver tech, the look, and build but I’m curious whether these would stay in and perform while riding… Anyone here having any experience in a bike or motorcycle would be appreciated. 👍🏻

It is great that they give you the option of both button and touch controls in one earbuds. But that control scheme could really use some work. Soundcore for example does it way better. And the app looks like it is still in beta.

I just recently purchased these, and I found that the 3 presets had too much treble for my taste. I made a custom eq that fixed many of the problems for me... and made these sound very good. Give it a try if you have the chance, and for anyone who reads this. 31 = +2 73 = + 1.5 176 = +1 423 = +2 1k = +0.5 2.4k = -4.0 5.8k = -5.0 14k = -4.0 This EQ makes the highs a bit smoother, It boosts the bass a little bit more, and tries to bring out some of the mids. If you aren't as affected by piercing treble, you can bring up 2.4k, 5.8k, and 14k a bit more. If you want a bit more bass, you can increase 31, 73, and 176 a bit more

Love the idea of the status ones I ordered the ANC ones but I’ll tell you what, the company itself needs some serious help in the shipping and customer service department. It’s all automated responses and I was told they shipped FedEx on a Sunday and I payed for 2 day shipping. Here we are on a Friday and according to FedEx they were just now dropped off and not expected to deliver till Monday. These buds better be the absolute BOMB (in a good way) otherwise I’m going to leave a pretty nasty review. The only thing holding me back currently is the fact that I need to hold them, see them and hear them before I let my patience get the best of me. I’m coming from the AirPod pro 2s and Sony so there’s a lot of hype they have to live up to. I have my fingers crossed because everything I’ve read makes sense and that’s why I ordered. I hope they live up to my expectations.

I'm looking for earbuds with as good sound as possible, stable fit when walking and useful ANC. I absolutely don't care about phonecall-quality or multi-connectivity or app-features or wireless charging, I don't need no water resistance nor do I work out or run with them. Just excellent music quality, stable fit when walking, useful ANC. Price Range up to $500 - IF they're really that good. Do you have any recommendations?

Don't buy these! They do sound good, but they don't last and the controls suck! When I couldn't turn one of them on anymore, I started searching for answers and found that LOTS of people had this problem. I not sure, but I guess the batteries just die. Mine only lasted long enough for the warranty to expire and I have not had a reply to my request for help from them. Looking for a new pair so please tell me your recommendations.

I’m literally killing myself trying to decide between the EarFun air 3 pros, oppo enco x2s and Sony linkbuds s because I haven’t gotten anything for a long time and want a gift for myself. I currently have soundcore Liberty air 2 pros that are on their last legs of life but still functioning and will leave for college in about a year so I don’t know if I should buy the EarFun now so that I won’t feel too guilty for wanting. New buds sometime around when I leave for college or wait for those liberties to die and get the enco x2 or linkbuds s. I love good anc, transparency, multipoint, controls and sound and thanks to you guys I have gotten it down to these ones mainly but even between them I can’t decide 😢
@@DHRME as you know, some reviewers foreshadow by making faces in the thumbnail so sometimes I ask her to read their face to see if there is a clue. If you had no reservations, maybe you both would have been smiling. I have the bone coloured version and find the SQ is second only to the Nura True Pro. But like you say, the rest is not quite as good as some other premium buds.
I returned mine. As i stated a few days ago on your post announcing this video i had so many issues with the app. And the three drivers are NOT that great compared to even single driver IEMs.
@@DHRME you would hope, but I tend to check a bunch of reviews for any earbuds I'm considering, and the reason I asked about volume levels is I see some reviewers who crank the volume way up and then wonder why they don't get the promised battery life. I've seen a couple do max volume, and of course you won't get the advertised life. I really don't know how they stand it...
Unfortunately sending mine back although the sound quality is amazing the noise cancellation is subpar and honestly makes no difference in loud environments. There's also weird static noise when no music is playing and sometimes the buds failed to disconnect when placed in the case which is unfortunate 😣 so much potential Id honestly deal with the other flaws if the anc was worthwhile

For work I use the Poly Voyager Focus 2. It is without a doubt the best made. I’ve tried them all

These worked perfectly with our MacBook. Did you try putting them in pairing mode?

Which should i get as original status pro now at 99$ and 3nc for 199 almost 100$ diff.. mainly m looking for great music .. currently using m OnePlus buds pro( but OP just buffed older version with firmware update 😣) .. also m using soundcore liberty air 2 pro. They sound ok but m not comfortable with it's fit ..

Does it use Qualcomm S5 SOC? Amazon Echo Buds 2023 ($40) uses it.
I just recently purchased these, and I found that the 3 presets had too much treble for my taste.
I made a custom eq that fixed many of the problems for me... and made these sound very good.
Give it a try if you have the chance, and for anyone who reads this.
31 = +2
73 = + 1.5
176 = +1
423 = +2
1k = +0.5
2.4k = -4.0
5.8k = -5.0
14k = -4.0
This EQ makes the highs a bit smoother,
It boosts the bass a little bit more,
and tries to bring out some of the mids.
If you aren't as affected by piercing treble, you can bring up 2.4k, 5.8k, and 14k a bit more.
If you want a bit more bass, you can increase 31, 73, and 176 a bit more
Now, between those and the Enco x2. What wins?

I currently have the soundcore liberty 3 pro and I love them, but call quality is very bad. So, I am looking for something with similar sound quality but better call quality. I don't use ANC or transparency mode. The most important for me is sound quality and call quality. Would you recommend these, or is there anything better that I can go for?

Love the idea of the status ones I ordered the ANC ones but I’ll tell you what, the company itself needs some serious help in the shipping and customer service department. It’s all automated responses and I was told they shipped FedEx on a Sunday and I payed for 2 day shipping. Here we are on a Friday and according to FedEx they were just now dropped off and not expected to deliver till Monday. These buds better be the absolute BOMB (in a good way) otherwise I’m going to leave a pretty nasty review. The only thing holding me back currently is the fact that I need to hold them, see them and hear them before I let my patience get the best of me. I’m coming from the AirPod pro 2s and Sony so there’s a lot of hype they have to live up to. I have my fingers crossed because everything I’ve read makes sense and that’s why I ordered. I hope they live up to my expectations.
The aesthetic of these tws needs rethink.

I'm looking for earbuds with as good sound as possible, stable fit when walking and useful ANC. I absolutely don't care about phonecall-quality or multi-connectivity or app-features or wireless charging, I don't need no water resistance nor do I work out or run with them. Just excellent music quality, stable fit when walking, useful ANC. Price Range up to $500 - IF they're really that good. Do you have any recommendations?
Buy wired IEMs. You'll save a TON of money. And get good sounding products that last.

I’m literally killing myself trying to decide between the EarFun air 3 pros, oppo enco x2s and Sony linkbuds s because I haven’t gotten anything for a long time and want a gift for myself. I currently have soundcore Liberty air 2 pros that are on their last legs of life but still functioning and will leave for college in about a year so I don’t know if I should buy the EarFun now so that I won’t feel too guilty for wanting. New buds sometime around when I leave for college or wait for those liberties to die and get the enco x2 or linkbuds s. I love good anc, transparency, multipoint, controls and sound and thanks to you guys I have gotten it down to these ones mainly but even between them I can’t decide 😢
@@DHRME as you know, some reviewers foreshadow by making faces in the thumbnail so sometimes I ask her to read their face to see if there is a clue. If you had no reservations, maybe you both would have been smiling. I have the bone coloured version and find the SQ is second only to the Nura True Pro. But like you say, the rest is not quite as good as some other premium buds.

@@DHRME you would hope, but I tend to check a bunch of reviews for any earbuds I'm considering, and the reason I asked about volume levels is I see some reviewers who crank the volume way up and then wonder why they don't get the promised battery life. I've seen a couple do max volume, and of course you won't get the advertised life. I really don't know how they stand it...

Unfortunately sending mine back although the sound quality is amazing the noise cancellation is subpar and honestly makes no difference in loud environments. There's also weird static noise when no music is playing and sometimes the buds failed to disconnect when placed in the case which is unfortunate 😣 so much potential Id honestly deal with the other flaws if the anc was worthwhile
