What was Dino doing to be warned to stop anyways? Selling drugs? Borrowing money? I'm just curious..
It was rumored he was involved with illegal cigarette smuggling from the US to Canada to sell them on the black market at a time when there was a large price difference it's been said.

jdbankshot Recently there was a mini-series that aired here in Canada (City TV I think), that was based on the Rizuto Family, titled: Bad Blood.
jdbankshot Thanks for the info. When I lived there at the time, I thought I heard that Dino was an "enforcer" for one of the two clans. I didn't know that he dealt with the Hell's Angels. Interestingly, in Brett Hart's biography, he was saying that the 'hit man" shot his gun from the back of his head, which made a circle when the bullets came out of his skull at the other end (face). This was supposed to be a signature "hit."

Who killed Dino
It was reported to be mafia related.
He was targeted by the mafia for stepping on their exporting business. Tons of rumors suggest that he knew what he was doing was drawing their ire, but he didn't care as he kept on smuggling cigarettes out of Canada. As with pretty much every professional hit, no one knows who killed him and we'll probably never know, unless someone confesses. Common sense says it was more than one person who did the murder, though, since multiple shots were fired and it would have probably taken more than one man to subdue a guy Dino's size and strength.
He was most likely shot from behind well before he knew what was happening. He was not restrained.

@@ReinEngel he was affiliated with the mafia, he didn't need to be subdued, sadly his killer most likely knew him and was there with him while his daughter and wife were at ballet class. No need to subdue anyone when they don't expect to be backstabbed by someone "close". Rip.
