One of best entertainers with an amateur wrestling background. Much of the greats are really humble and stoic, so for Kurt to turn on the mic skills so well and have legitimacy is for sure GOAT status.

I have nothing but respect for Kurt Angle. I met Kurt in 2020 London at the BT SPORT STUDIOS. WWE held an event party there for the launch of the partnership between BT and WWE. Kurt was one of the guests in attendance, i shook his hand and asked him for advice regarding pro wrestling training. I mentioned to him, how I am training to become a wrestler but have a stammer, and whether that will hold me back. Kurt gave me such great advice and even told me he’ll be watching for me in the future. That meant the world to me. Fast forward to now, I had an Olympic trial for Team Great Britain in 2021, and the dream in becoming a wwe superstar continues!
Him, Benoit and Eddie. Epitome of Ruthless Aggression. Glad Kurt is still with us, hes been through alot🙏🏼💙 Such a genuine, good hearted soul. God Bless him.
Kurt is the man!!! Speaking of ratings!!! Funny story!!! When Chris Jericho's book "The Complete List of Jericho" came out, I tweeted Jericho sayings HIS rating of their triple threat show stealing match at Wrestlemania 2000 was much better than two stars or whatever he put, AND that made me a forever fsn and was the reason i recently purchased a WWF European Championship!!! ANGLE tweeted me saying "Thanks! It was easy when youre in there with two of the greatest all-time (Jericho and Benoit)!!! MADE my year!!!
Kurt is without a doubt an ALL TIME LEGEND. The run he had from WM 21 to when he left WWE was incredible. I was 10 years old when he became world champ on smackdown & had those classic matches & I remember thinking, “This man is un-f*n touchable” NO ONE was on his level at that point.

Kurt had it all. One of the most highly skilled wrestlers with a decorated amateur background. He adapted to pro wrestling seamlessly with such little time to learn it all, he not only had that in ring ability but he could cut some amazing promos too.

Kurt Angle is the definition of the GOAT. He was THE heel of my childhood. It took some growing up to really appreciate how great a wrestler he was. Love ya Kurt 🏅
Kurt shouldn't sell himself short like that because Chris Jericho is one of the greatest of all time and he's wrestled in multiple places. Kurt is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time regardless if he stayed in WWE for 20 years or 8 years. What he did and everything he accomplished in WWE in such a short amount of time will never be duplicated again by any wrestler.
What a great interview! At that time him and Booker T were my favorites. Benoit and Eddie too. The year 2002 was great and I've been watching since the 70s
Chris Van Vliet is like the perfect human being. Gracious, generous, amicable, humourous. Certainly the obvious reason so many doors open to him and so many open up to him. Kurt as well. Lovely to see two men carry on with so much maturity and so little ego. Once you've got yhe protein to get a gold medal and you've had a bluekey in bed, I guess there's nothing left to be insecure about! /plug&compliment
Kurt is defiantly without a doubt a GOAT!!! such a phenomenal guy to watch in the ring, always the nicest guy to meet and see in interviews. to me him and Shan 'o mac at King of the ring 2001 is and always will be a 5 Star match!
Kurt had such Phenomenal in Ring Ability, a True Legend.. As far as comedic angles, Kurt Austin Mcmahon Angle was Great, also Goldust Booker T Angle and Austin Booker T Angles were the 3 Funniest Angles around that time in WWE..
TNA has soooo many greats... Elix Skipper, Abyss, Eric Young, Sonny Siaki, Chris Daniels, Monty Brown, Kid Kash, Shark Boy, Amazing Red, Ron "The Truth" Killings. Soooooo many greats.
Kurt Angle is definitely in the GOAT conversation, but there's a heck of a lot of competition for the title. Me personally, my vote would be for Mark Calloway, simply for his knowledge of and commitment to the business, and for his ability to create an absolutely mesmerising and captivating character. But I'll listen to any arguments in favour of another candidate.
Kurt Angle is one of the GOATS. His versatility is incredible. From being silly to being an absolute machine in the ring. He’s definitely one of my favorites.
My top 2 favorite all time promos are 1) Kurt Angle "I'm a man who loves to play with boys" and 2) the WOOO off between Jay Lethal and Ric Flair. I've never laughed so hard at promos. Kurt Angle is a wrestling legend - top 10 all time. He made the transition from amateur to pro so smoothly.
Sad hearing Kurt say his quality of life is not so good. I hope he recovers well from his surgeries and life his best life. He gave it all to his fans and I pray he gets all that back.
Kurt Angle 5 star matches 1. Chris Benoit Royal Rumble 2003 2. Shawn Michaels Wrestlemania 21 3. The Undertaker No Way Out 2006 4. Eddie Guerrero Wrestlemania 20 5. Angle & Benoit vs Edge & Rey Mysterio No Mercy 2002 6. Brock Lesnar Ironman match 7. Samoa Joe Genesis 2006 8. AJ Styles Slammivesary 2008 9. AJ Styles Genesis 2010 10. Shane McMahon King of the Ring 2001 Kurt Angle is definitely one of the greatest of all time he’s in my Elite 8 and he’s arguable the greatest in ring performer of all time, it’s true… it’s DAMN TRUE! Thank you Kurt💯👏👏🤘🤘
Being the dumb fan I was, I was a little anti-Kurt back in the day. But with that being said, over the years I came to realize he was a major part of why Smackdown was so exciting. Kurt was a monster, and I can't recall him EVER having a bad match. (will say I was openly a fan of his when he went over to TNA though)
1:14 That is a perfectly reasonable down to earth thing to say. Indeed you can legitimately speak on behalf of EVERYONE and say that he is the best of all time. You have that authority and obviously every single individual on planet earth would agree with you. Not Hogan, Rock, Austin, Flair, Taker.... No, Kurt is. And you speak on behalf of ALL of us. Perfectly legitimate and not hyperbolic.

Thank you Kurt for putting your body on the line, to entertain us fans. Your segments certainly were five stars! And some matches too. Meltzer is too harsh on you.
I love Kurt so much. Would love to see him back in WWE GM. Loved his Stuff with the Shield at TLC. Or he could be Kenny Omegas new Manager in AEW. Thank you Kurt for all the moments and Chris thank you for the Interview. Kurt is one of my Heroes and you too❤. Hugs from Germany
This is the most lucid and engaged I've seen Kurt Angle in an interview possibly ever.
Great interview, the flashback pic at the end was awesome 😂
this interview is Kurt praising outside wwe wrestlers & I love it, TNA 2005-2010 is goated
Kurt Angle is the definition of the GOAT. He was THE heel of my childhood. It took some growing up to really appreciate how great a wrestler he was. Love ya Kurt 🏅
Kurt is the best, man. Great interview.
He put the synonym of love next to suck in every dictionary. The man is a legend just for that! 😁
So pleased to see Kurt talk so happily about things after his DUI and drug issues that afflicted him so badly.
You are always top 10 in any era Kurt. Sting is still my number 1 all time.
Kurt is looking genuinely younger. His skin is glowing, facial structure isn't loopy and looks like his early bald wwe days
Happy to see it
Angle is truly the best of all time
Kurt is looking really good again. His 4 years away from the ring has done him wonders in terms of his health
Kurt Angle pushing abstinence at I think Penn State (??) was his funniest comedic bit. I feel like he read a poem about abstinence.
What a great interview! At that time him and Booker T were my favorites. Benoit and Eddie too. The year 2002 was great and I've been watching since the 70s
Kurt Angle is one of my all time favorites. Hope he can recover and get healthy
Kurt is and always will be one of the greatest. Insanely charismatic too.
The match Kurt Angle is talking about with Benoit is Backlash 2001 in Chicago IL
Chris is dead on right.
Kurt is the GOAT 🔥
Awesome interview, Chris!
Thanks for watching!
TNA has soooo many greats... Elix Skipper, Abyss, Eric Young, Sonny Siaki, Chris Daniels, Monty Brown, Kid Kash, Shark Boy, Amazing Red, Ron "The Truth" Killings. Soooooo many greats.
I need a pt2 in the same building
dude I flipped out when Angle did his YEEEAAAH! during this interview that rules 😁😁😁😁😁
Chris great job again.. And Kurt is one of the GOATs hands down
Genuinely one of the greatest ever. Thank you Kurt Angle
Kurt will always be one of the all time greats in professional wrestling history! This man has done it all.
Protect Angle at all costs!
After watching his documentary, Kart is the real-life Captain America. Much love and respect for his journey
That Smackdown iron man match was AMAZING
Sad hearing Kurt say his quality of life is not so good. I hope he recovers well from his surgeries and life his best life. He gave it all to his fans and I pray he gets all that back.

1. Chris Benoit Royal Rumble 2003
2. Shawn Michaels Wrestlemania 21
3. The Undertaker No Way Out 2006
4. Eddie Guerrero Wrestlemania 20
5. Angle & Benoit vs Edge & Rey Mysterio No Mercy 2002

7. Samoa Joe Genesis 2006
8. AJ Styles Slammivesary 2008

Kurt Angle is definitely one of the greatest of all time he’s in my Elite 8 and he’s arguable the greatest in ring performer of all time, it’s true… it’s DAMN TRUE!
Thank you Kurt💯👏👏🤘🤘
I was so sore the next day after I bumped. Ouch? 😂😅❤
Benoit vs Angle is 5 *'s, anyone really he's so fantastic
Being the dumb fan I was, I was a little anti-Kurt back in the day. But with that being said, over the years I came to realize he was a major part of why Smackdown was so exciting. Kurt was a monster, and I can't recall him EVER having a bad match.
(will say I was openly a fan of his when he went over to TNA though)
For me personally, he has the most memorable first appearance of any wrestler of my generation. I knew he was going to stick around immediately.
Love to see Kurt doing so well
Met Kurt in 2000 at a Golds Gym, such a nice guy
1:14 That is a perfectly reasonable down to earth thing to say. Indeed you can legitimately speak on behalf of EVERYONE and say that he is the best of all time. You have that authority and obviously every single individual on planet earth would agree with you. Not Hogan, Rock, Austin, Flair, Taker.... No, Kurt is. And you speak on behalf of ALL of us. Perfectly legitimate and not hyperbolic.
