I wonder how Daniel Smith's permanent yellow deep and lemon yellow compare to the Mission Gold versions. Maybe the results would be closer together. Thank you for sharing.
Aww thank you for watching the video. Aww I know, I was a bit gutted when I realised that I could match up any of the yellows but I also can’t afford to go and buy the same pigments. Maybe won day lol
Hi, thanks for your flow comparison of those paints. I prefer to mix grey with dark green and purple (PBk31 + PV55), but I also like to mix darker blue with darker brown (PB27 + PBr33). As dedicated grey I got a chunk from a artgraf aqua graphite tin in a half pan. Makes for nice streets or to add some dirt in mixes. Stay strong with your diet! It is okay to fail a day, just do it again the next day, making the habit stick in the long run is the most important part!
Aww thank you for watching the videos 😊. I’ll definitely try them pigments mixes - I love it when people add comments with additional information that I would probably never have thought of. Haha diet is actually going very well, although I’m always hungry lol
My Sennelier and Winsor Newton complete sets are both 50% mixtures, 50 % pure one pigment colours. I purchased the 100 % pure pigment 34 colour set of Mijello Mission Gold. Why didn’t you? Your talents are better displayed , more enriching in your more noble quests. Bitterness is creeping into your videos , spreading throughout your presentations, to stain even disjointed issues. Please don’t let you disappointment with your selection overshadow your assessment of the fine qualities of this unique collection . They are the finest, purest, most boastful ,joyous colours available, (so are you) . Can we just enjoy them, learn to exhibit their magnificence?
Here in india Mission Gold is lot cheaper than DS. Very honestly, both the paints dispersement make me wonder if these are good for beginners? Very vibrant but very hard to control paints both
Yes I agree with you, the slow dispersant can give the painter a false sense of how it will look when dry. I suppose it’s all about getting used to the paints 😊
Aww okay, thank you for sharing 😊. Hey rah it’s weird the only thing I can think of is that they can have 2 price points for there professional paints, which I find odd as they are the only company that I’ve come across that do that. There maybe others but I’ve never seen this.

Py 43 is transparent ochre whereas py42 is more opaque of an ochre. I also don't understand why mission gold uses so many pigments in their paints.

@@TammyNewmanArt maybe it is kind of like different series in other brands?
Yeah maybe, I won’t be investing in the single pigment set on principle lol - I’m such a stubborn old goat 😂😂😂
@@TammyNewmanArt actually they have a Pure Pigment set which is amazing
Aww I was gutted when I found out that I hadn’t bought the pure pigment set.
