Both Holbein and Rembdrandt do NOT have ox gall, so that's why they don's spread and are easier to control and to layer (paint doesn't get reactivated so easily) . I actually prefer watercolors that I can control such as Holbein so Rembrandt was a big surprise when I saw how similar they were.
On the other hand I saw the Sennelier flow like mad and they're really scary to me.
The Rembrandts are exceptionally lightfast and high quality, I really love them.
I really enjoy these comparison videos. Very interesting to see the differences side by side.
I think the W&N paints look really nice. I look forward to trying them in the future 😊

Very much enjoying following along as you post your comparison videos. Just a little tidbit you might find fun….I’ve accumulated a few permanent/ quin rose tubes and noticed differences in the temperature,too. In following up on this, I’ve read ( maybe on Handprint) that my m.graham is considered to lean to a red hue and to be the most intense QR, the W& N is considered a rose hue and Daniel smith’s is bluer and cooler than w& n , so makes brighter purples!?? My swatch tests ( much less intensive than yours) do seem to agree with that. Whatever…they are all gorgeous!

Did you use Winsor Newton tubes dried in pans? If so the manufacturer says that they are not meant to be used that way only fresh from the tube. The pan paints and the tube paints have a different formulation. The pan paints wet much more easily. If you put W N tube paints in pans to dry add a drop of glycerin to help with rewetting. I only ever buy the pans now makes a big difference in vibrancy and ease of use.
