I have to say that your swatching in this style is so magical 🎉. When the paint hits the paper it’s like WOW 😮 I especially like the swatching where the paint is side by side and they flow into one another. Thank you 🙏 for making my heart ❤️ sing 🎉
@@TheGlitterCrayon Oh WOW 🤩 I just saw your Bible verse and I received confirmation from the Holy Spirit that I should indeed continue to view your videos. May the Lord bless you in all that He sets your hands to create 🙏
What a beautiful selection of Daniel Smith paints! Quin burnt scarlet PR206 is a fav pigment of mine, and I didn't know until recently that it's been discontinued in the pigment world! Always wanted to own that beautiful Aussie red gold and sodalite 😍 loved the video, thank you for sharing!
Thank you for watching and thank you for you comment! when i found out PR206 was discontinued, I bought a bit extra. I had just found out about madder brown a couple years ago and love using it when i paint skin. I didn't want to be caught unprepared like I was with Quinacridone Gold 🥲
Such a beautiful palette 🥰 and you swatches are so pretty and fun! I loved your painting the colors were really interesting I never would've thought that they would work together like that
Great job on this- I have most of the set already, but you uncovered about 5 new ones that were not represented well to me in other videos. Here's what you got right- elements of a useful swatching production- Showing the product wet and dry, illustrating the working properties of the paint, marking the the swatches, zoomed both tight and also wide video shots, and best of all- smart!-💯showing the entire dried range of the paint set together at the end to get an overall sense of the aesthetic and consistency of the brand.
I absolutely loved this, so beautiful and all my favorite colours except for some of the greens and I don't really like raw sienna in DS prefer WN. Thank you for doing this. I find swatching in this style like therapy. 😂
Where do you get your empty watercolor pans? They seem a bit slimmer than some of the generics around. Like less square ish. Making it easier to fit 13 pans even in the middle.
@@thesunseekeer I just used random pans I gathered from Amazon. I'm not even sure is they are all the same brand, but I know they are just generic half pans :). I definitely get what you are talking about though! Some half pans have a bit of a thicker wall to them! The center row of this particular palette is an actual row instead of just an empty space between two rows. So it is technically made to fit 36 half pans.
@@thesunseekeer no problem! I went and checked my orders, the palette was called FCLUB Empty Watercolor Tins Palette 36 half pans. And the brand of half pans was art&beauty 50 pc half pans.
Do you have a video on the pallet you would use daily? Like this is DS pallet and i can see other single brand pallets. But what is your pallet that you mostly use? Thanks
The closest would be my 2024 palette video which can be found in the "my palettes through the years" playlist. But I have to be honest, my palette is constantly changing. I plan on making another video later on in the year of whatever my palette is at the time.
@@TheGlitterCrayon Thanks your colours are so beautiful. I can't afford all them colours, so looking to try to get around 26-28. I keep going from my top professional brands like DS or WN to trying more affordable ones like Roman Szmals or Rose Gallery. But there never really as good.
