When someone wants to do a documentary on your story, you should be allowed to stop any false statements or false scenarios being filmed. Also they should pay the victims for the story outright and a percentage of royalties. ❤️
💯
Collier and Terra you two are so encouraging for surviving trauma. Telling your stories are so inspirational and healing. 🙏🏻👍🏻🌻❤️
I don’t watch horror nor violent movies, I can’t….yet I can watch True Crime. I watch because I’ve done a lot of counselling. I watch because I love seeing the guilty get their day of being in court. I love justice.
I wish I could just hug Terra. She is a survivor.
Great job guys! I think Crimecon was a perfect place for you guys to go because now so many of victims will know that your show can give them opportunity to tell their stories to the world, whereas before they were at the mercy of some TV or movie producer, if it was even told at all! That is an incredible way to help people heal from trauma❤️. Thank you both tremendously for the help that you offer people.
I love what you and Terra are doing!
Thank you, both, for sharing your journies and for opening this platform for others to share and heal in their journies.
Very important for all to hear you. May you be increasingly heard. ⚓🌟🌟
Terra’s story is much more brutal and terrorizing than she was summarizing in this retelling. It’s amazing that she is here.
Well done Terra and Collier
Thank you so much for sharing. That was truly heartfelt and helped bring awareness to the victims side of the story.
Love you both! Great job! ❤
You guys did so good. Well done. I’m proud of you both 🇮🇪☘️
I thought you did a phenomenal job. So proud of you two. You should be as well.!!!!!
God bless both of you for sharing your stories, as painful as they are. I believe my dad was a sociopath, then I am the survivor of 2 psychopaths, one was a husband and the other was a boyfriend. Terra points out something very telling....the quickness of the relationships, huge red flag. Terra's family survived the murder of her aunt as well, Debra's sister. Trauma bonding can lead you down a bad road. It took years for me to heal and get my life back. Thank you, you're both an inspiration.
I hadn’t heard Terra’s story before! Good lord. How traumatizing. Every time I hear Collier’s story it breaks my heart. ❤
I’m so sorry you had to go through such a nightmare, Terra. I’m so grateful that you survived! You’re amazing!❤ Thank goodness you pretended to be asleep, Collier! Thank you both for sharing and helping others!🙏
I like your shoes Collier! Nice job to you and Terra! 😊 Thank you for including us in your audience!
Very well done by both of you!!
A few lawyers should form a large panel including a group of victims to standardise a set of laws in terms of making movies of peoples true stories.
So glad you streamed it! Wish I could have been there!
So grateful Terra lived! I watched the movie about her experience- very frightening and at the same time so grateful she survived!
I very much would have liked to be there to see you !
Maybe my story will be told next year!
Whenever you are ready. There are many podcasters that are willing to let you share. Most of them are sympathetic, supportive, and encouraging. I'll be praying for you as healing is a day by day, sometimes minute by minute, process.
@@kelb1880 Thank you. I don’t know where to start. I need FOIA docs from my assaults when I was the one taken away in handcuffs after I was the one assaulted. It happened to me twice!
@MsMongee13 I don't have the connections myself but I do know some people that can lead you in the right direction. If Terra or Collier could chime in here... Or try contacting them with direct message.... I will try to reach you through direct message if I can.
Y’all did a great job Tara & Collier!!!! I don’t know if y’all planned it or u r just in tune w/each other but u r dressed just alike!! 😂
Great job
This was great!
🎉looks great!
Good job...T.Y...
Collier, as lady of a certain age, may I say that you're awfully cute!
We've all thought that. Many of us have told him.😍
Where do we find Terra’s story ? Also Collier we can’t get a murder in Mansfield in NZ. What other platform can we get this from.
Do you get Netflix?
You know that thing about leaving- Your mom seemed to be about to leave and perhaps that is what made your dad take that step. He had to be in control of who leaves who and where his money goes and what his reputation would be. So grateful she had you to tell her real story. It is very dangerous to leave. It has to be done carefully and so often someone still gets hurt.
I had to leave my ex and I was so scared I did it as quickly as I could while he was at work and then my brother in law who was very protective and kind still got sucker punched and a fracture in the face trying to protect me and my sister. My ex also had so much to love about him but also needed help with his anger. I respect you a lot for always trying to keep perspective. My heart goes out to you both!
I'm so grateful survivors finally get a louder voice than the murderers. You guys are so right about all those people who are making money off of your suffering. I hate to use the term 'victim'. But all the people who are effected by crime should get paid when somebody writes a book or make a film about your suffering. I couldn't watch Dahmer n Netflix. It's so insensitive and open up wounds of the relatives and friends of the victims. I think we should mention the names of all the victims of, for instance, Ted Bundy. Another case that really bothers me is the so-called BTK-killer. Dennis Rader gave himself that name, proudly. And every time it's used on tv or on the internet, you feed Rader's narcism. Give those sick bastard some meaningless number. They don't deserve a name. 'Victims' do. What's a better, respectful name for 'victim'? Anyone?
It doesn’t look like many are there.
