I appreciate what Vinny said about people learning how the justice system works from watching real trials.
I agree. Many true crimers are only about the arrest. They need a vision of what happens beyond. I suggest they try to find local trials, and see how their elected DA's and judges work, but not only that, learn to understand the laws and how changes can be made by voting, contacting their senators and representatives. ❤

I love how Erica got to be there and actively work with you ( probably volunteering) and we got to see more of her! The two of you make a great team and I think a crime series of videos, channel or podcast where you explain the latest cases to her would be fantastic. I know she said she was hoping to relax by the pool but I really appreciate her participation during this event!

Vinny Politan made the case for cameras in courtrooms so clear. Yes, it will actually strengthen the trust and knowledge of the American Judicial System by the citizens.
You guys are a terrific team! I appreciate your perspective. Vinny has a strong point. Show the people what goes on in the courtrooms. They are the people! 🙏 for a change in tide! Open up the cameras and show us how the system works.
You guys are absolute energizers. I spent all weekend at Crime Con and I was not even working, and I was EXHAUSTED! What a great weekend. The Eatons were a highlight!

Hi from Australia. I would so love to be able to visit Crimecon in the US one day. You both have a lovely family. Nate I started to follow you sadly due to the Vallow case. You covered it so well with compassion and kindness towards the victims and family. I was trying to explain the case to my Mum and it was so unbelievable and bizarre I was sure she thought I was exaggerating. It made me pause and I also realised how incredulous the events were and the number of people with crazy off the wall ideas were involved. Look forward to your coverage of the Daybell case next year.

Brilliant coverage of Crime Con 2023. Well done to Gabby Petito's family for bringing light out of darkness, losing their daughter in such a tragic, manner. Starting up a foundation in Gabby's name is such a wonderful tribute, so pleased they won the top award. Ensuring that training is given to many people to understand domestic violence. I believe Gabby is in Heaven smiling and is very proud of her parents.
I may be wrong, but have a feeling they are Christians and that their faith has helped them through the storm of heartache. God has given them grace and strength, to bring good out of their heartbreaking loss of their special daughter. Rest in Peace Gabby.

Thank you for covering Crimecon. I was unaware of this convention. You really made an effort give us a feel for the entire event. I subbed fruitloops because of this.
Thank you Nate , boy Vinny P. was in rare form at Crime on. He is so much better speaking in person. So often his shows research dept is a day or two behind in bringing the facts to us, sadly I think it’s because he not on daily and from the time his show is written and broadcast the updates are not added into his show.
I remember you (Nate) saying you weren’t sure about covering true crime and how much you love and enjoy your “feel Good Friday” segments and stories that fall in line with the warm a fuzzies … I really think you have found your niche … honestly after sitting next to you in court at the Lori vallow trial I hope you will take the trip to Moscow when the time comes. Who knows ? I might be your bench buddy in another tragic Idaho case… much love 💕 and

Fantastic segments, Nate & Erika- thank you 🙏 I felt like I got to experience a bit of Crimecon & really want to attend next year because of what you brought to your audience. Vinny said everything I’ve been feeling about cameras in the courtroom, I find the American judicial process fascinating & watch all the trials that I can (I live in Canada).

Lol - Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center. Practically in my backyard. It's a lovely place with a great indoor water park if you can stay at Opryland and want to add that to your hotel package.

You couldn't pay me enough to serve on a jury!!!!! I refuse to be responsible for possibly sending the wrong person to prison. I refuse to be responsible for possibly making a wrong decision that results in ruining a possible innocent person's life!!! When you have two lawyers trying to paint a mental picture of what happened, it's not going to be exactly what happened. It comes down to who can describe what happened the best. Neither are correct as neither of them were there! I wasn't there so I cannot say what happened and just taking one's word for it isn't a safe bet anymore. Witnesses are unreliable people these days. Court is so different now than it was back in the day. You've now got judges, lawyers and cops engaging in much darker behaviors and just not having been caught yet. The few who have been caught, opened my eyes even wider to the corruption in our country!!!!! Serving on a jury isn't what they say it is. It's not our duty to judge others who we know nothing about. One is not my peer if they don't behave well. One is not my peer if they don't know me personally or have not seen me often . If they don't know me, they are not my peers. You can't have peer pressure if no one knows or sees you to pressure you.
