Awesome! Something different and I'm learning that you can drop the Coyote from the top then the bottom. The right fuel system, headers, control packs, etc. Should cheap and easy do at home.
Hey talk to Bryan Patterson at Summit Racing's GA store. I think you two can help each other out greatly! Things I learned: 1. Getting the fuel tank out is much easier with a buddy. 2. DeWalt makes an air blower!! 2.
Need more info of actual wiring and powering up the pump, the factory harness just can’t be plugged back in and ready to rock..You using a relay with battery direct wiring and ridding the fpdm? Great info you have loving my coyote swap Mach 1 project
just be Very careful dropping the tank on the filler neck side,as the end of the neck that goes into the tank itself has a tip that will come apart and fall into the tank, been there done that. and replace the filler neck rubber grommet on the tank side, their cheap insurance, also lightly spray some wd40 or on the grommet to ease the filler neck reinstall, otherwise the tip may break off from that also. and fyi if you want to replace the 2 evap items on the hump you can still get those new tho their a PIA to get out .
For the single connection from the corvette filter that runs to the front, I noticed that the end on the OEM ford filter that runs to the front was different. Ford had a male end and GM has a female end. What did you use to join the two female ends from the filter and single line going to the front of the car.
I ordered that exact part number, mine says made in USA and appears to be slightly different. I've taken it apart and it has a Walbro pump in it. A little Googling tells me its likely a 255lph pump, though I can't find that part number specifically. It looks like the Aeromotive 11542 is going to be my part number for me, but again, my basket and lid look slightly different than the one in the video. Mine has a black hose coming from the side of the pump, out of the basket and down to the side of where the outer filter connects to the basket. Not sure what I'm supposed to do with that yet as the Aero doesn't have any provision for that. Mine also has only one cylindrical hump coming out of the top of the cap, not two like the one in the video.
In the video Caleb says he used the setup from a 98 GT, which is what I ordered. Delphi FG1152. When you look closer he actually has the V6 version FG 0835 in his hand.
Hey thanks for these videos you put out. I did go this route with my swap. Works like a charm. The only issue I’m having is the gas gauge communicating with the sender. Any recommendations? I’m not getting any reading on fuel level. Thanks
Checked the pump assembly from the part number in the vid. My question is will this run e85? Delphi lists that part number as "ethanol resistant" not as compatible? Did the aero motive pump make it compatible with e 85?
hey man, i have a sbf question if you wouldn’t mind replying. is notching the bottom of the bores necessary in a 351w/408w stroker block necessary? 4.000 in stroke
I always called the fuel filter. The forgotten filter!!!! Only true builders change them out. I’ve known people with thousands of aftermarket goodies and still had a OEM fuel filter. I’m like WTF!!!! Their $25 maximum!!!
When I bought my 01 last spring, that and brakes was the first thing I did. Me draining the filter, "Seriously? The hell..." The brake fluid and shot calipers had a few words out of my mouth also. Lol. Hurray for kick ass vacuum pumps.
Can you please provide more info on wiring? I have this exact fuel setup..Does the green fuel pump wire from the control pack go to the FPDM power and the factory power wire to the FPDM gets cut? Or was the green wire ran direct to the fuel pump? This info on wiring would be very helpful! Thanks again!
jmf80 Yes. I purchased it off eBay. A lot of imperfections on it that I need to get smoothed out. Dover so eloquently pointed out that I need to get another one because this one looks bad.
Nice video buddy I actually got a newedge mustang with a coyote swap and I'm running the stock 98 mustang gt fuel pump on it and the motor is running off of it you think this would be ok for a NA coyote ?
What is the fuel pump part number? Did you buy a pump for a 99-04 car? Or is it a pump for a 1998 like the rest of the components you used? Where can I find a parts list of what was used?
@@kriskeith6979 I believe they used the 11540. The 11542 has an offset inlet. The 11540 has a center inlet. Thanks for those part numbers by the way, that helped me figure it out.
Your videos are like a swap reference to me. I revisit them over and over again. appreciate you guys
Anything involving restoring or modifying cars and trucks is awesome to watch
Loving the info! Can't wait to do my own!
This one is going to be a lot of fun!
@@FoxcastMedia I'm planning on doing it myself soon!

Yup that fuel filter was definitely done LOL. Great series

Great video what was the aeromotive fuel pump part number. Thanks.
How does that filter/regulator get it's vacuum/boost signal? Wouldn't it have to have a reference to increase fuel pressure when needed?
Could this fuel setup work on a fox, get a fuel hat with AN line, the corvette fuel filter and then run a feed to the fuel rail???
Your a week late on that fuel pump swap buddy. Had do mine on the fly. I'm thinking about 3.55 gear. Still get little mileage and still gets down.
Nice information!!

Hey Chris. I am having the same issue with mine!!!! What pump did you end up using?

Are you going to use the factory fpdm with this or does the harness come with a new power wire for pumps?
hey man, i have a sbf question if you wouldn’t mind replying. is notching the bottom of the bores necessary in a 351w/408w stroker block necessary? 4.000 in stroke
What's that pump/system good for whp wise? Also what do you use for recording? (Camera, etc).
Should be good for close to 500, mine made 436 to the tire with the same pump/lines. Camera is a GoPro Hero 7

More good tips my man. Do you think that fuel pump you installed would still support the coyote if someone were to add a supercharger to it?
Do you sale parts of the Mustangs ?
The take off parts ?
whats the part number for the fuel pump?
That new pump only has one connector and the old one has 2. What did you do about that.
That fuel system is much easier than i thought itd be
Good info man like always thanks!
You never posted part numbers
Will this set up work with my 89 foxbody
Isn’t the metal fuel line at the pump too skinny for a gen 3?(i know this one is gen 1, I’m just asking)
I'm doing it now, Engine already in.
Hey just wondering what else i would need using this setup to run e85
Did you guys block off the evap line or did you have to connect it to the intake manifold?
Thanks
What do you do with the return line coming off of the fuel rail?
Will it work with a V6 new edge ?
What size adaptors did you use?? I’m stuck on that with my personal build
Would this work on a supercharged coyote or do I have to run a whole new return line?
Can you use the regulator/ filter on a gen 3 engine swap?
Did you get high fuel pressure with the c5 filter?
Do you recommend the pump in the video for a 97 gt?
I tried 3 corvette filters and still have 85 psi running
Is that a terminator rear bumper with the Mustang lettering?
jmf80 Yes. I purchased it off eBay. A lot of imperfections on it that I need to get smoothed out. Dover so eloquently pointed out that I need to get another one because this one looks bad.
@@bigpeterockfan1 Got you. Or maybe keep it and shave out the lettering. Going to do that on the Cobra bumper I picked up. They look so clean this way

I have now ordered 11540 and 11542 and both are too tall to fit on basket. Still haven't gotten it right
I’m confused coyote is returnless & the 99-04 is returnless so yyyy???
@foxcast media what aeromotive pump is it specifically ?
is it the Aeromotive #11542 or #11540
Neither of these pumps fit listed above fit. To tall for basket
I think you should get the owner’s effective consent before you burn off the tires🥺
Why do I keep getting Chevy ads!?
