it makes me crack a smile everytime when bill goes "hey look at me" because bill is so fucking humble, it tells alot about his character and who he is as not just a man, but a person, and to see bill be surprised at connecting with all types of people he never thought he would connect with, is not only a joy to listen to, but is a example of how we all should treat each other, like bill, with the same amount of respect and dignity as you would with any other person

I appreciate Bill acknowledging how foul it is to cut off or abuse in any way a family member for being trans. I have a trans brother and I remember my dad's heart breaking because when he came out to us when he was 16 he said "don't worry mum and dad I know this is a lot so I've already packed my things. I'm sorry and I wish I could help it". My dad said it was the worst feeling, knowing that his child thought for a second that they could ever disown him. Wow that was long.

They would also add other less savory commentary on top of that. When I came out, I expected to be ousted and was expecting to just learn to live with it. My Dad was crying when he said that wasn't going to happen.

It’s been like 3 years since my sibling/bro-ster came out and my dad is still saying “I hope it’s just a phase.” I honestly don’t know if my dad would’ve kicked them out if we lived with him. Thankfully my mom is pretty open minded and my sibling identifying as trans helped rationalize a lot of my irrational opinions. (a lot of them that I got from my dad)

It's difficult and as a father myself whos made a lot of mistake, i still cant imagine ever turning my child away and judging them like that even if i disagreed with their lifestyle. I personally dont agree with homosexuality and transgenderism? Is that a word. Idk. But im not gonna be hateful to anyone bc like Bill said, God knows i have my own shit. Im now over a month sober and trying to become a better person alone and Bill's podcast always brings me a good laugh and lifts my spirit. He's not afraid to have his own views and make fun of everyone but he also doesnt think hes any better than anyone else. Hes learned to both embrace his flaws and work on them at the same time. Truly an inspiration. And he started out working a warehouse job like me 😆

@Jordan Wolfgram - _"...I personally dont agree with homosexuality and transgenderism?..."_ - If it's not for you/hasn't happened, yourself, don't _"do it",_ yourself - right?!
And... here's the thing; if you aren't homosexual or, transgender (they are NOT the same thing, BTW); there's nothing for you to be personally, concerned about (regarding those things), anyway.
_'If'_ I were to _'correct'_ your phrase, to mean something more, of your seeming intent; I'd say something like _"I'm not homosexual or, transgender, myself"._ - because, there isn't anything, for you to _"agree"_ with - you either is or, you ain't (or, you haven't figured it out, yet; or, can't/won't be that narrowly defined, etc).
Hopefully, I'm not just splitting hairs, as it were... words, mean things; it sounds like you're doing a great job, despite plenty of difficulties. And, as you're experiencing some of the _'joys'_ that come from... _errm_ religious, indoctrination, etc...
Allow me, please, to reverse/change some of your phrasing - so that you may better understand, the hypocrisy, of judgement on others. _"...Im not 'addicted' or anything haha but ive experienced being alienated by my family because of struggles i had with 'sexuality', 'gender-roles', 'body-dysmorphia' and not having the same religious view and not [having] children, at all..."_ (true story).
I'm not a doctor (and, I don't 'play' one on TV) - _"...Im now over a month sober and trying to become a better person alone..."_ - May I say, respectfully: there isn't anything for you to _'try to be'_ - you are 100% complete, alone and, with company (you got bigger and, older, is all), since the day you were born - sadly, you were told 'what' to believe and, 'what' to think, for all of this time; instead, learn 'how' to believe and, 'how' to think (you're working on that, now!) - What I'm trying to say is; you have _'everything'_ that you _'need'_ right now! (you just don't have a clear-view, over the heaping pile of shit, that's in front of you). You're not an accident and, you're not a mistake (or, a failure) - You're a 100% legit, this life we all share - those before us and, those who shall yet come - each moment, is a new opportunity - make your better decisions, in each moment - the next moments, will follow... Peace-

What I have never understood is, that given how racist, transphobic and homophobic the US has been even during my lifetime, the amount of bullying and outright prejudice and aggression you must have faced if you are black, gay, or trans has to be incredible. (I suffered homophobic bullying as teenager just because people THOUGHT I was gay). I don't doubt we still have a long way to go, but I kind of expect people that have lived through this to be pretty tough. Yet the stereotype--particularly of trans people--is that they are incredibly sensitive even to the slightest "micro-aggression", like a well-intentioned person accidentally using the wrong pronoun or not knowing what "cis" means. This has never made sense to me. One explanation, judging from this letter is that maybe many transgendered are actually not ridiculously sensitive, but just want equal rights like everyone else. All this PC tip-toeing around really just makes everything worse.

Aw man as a trans person I gotta say I'm happy he brought up the fact that transitioning isn't really an accident.
Like when you tell people you're trans it's like they think it's the first time you've thought of it 😂. Like some guy is just like "damn wearing a dress is more fun then I thought" and then some trans fairy god mother plops down and irreversibly transitions you before you've even had a chance to notice 😂😂
A trans person can be anybody and anybody gets that suddenly dressing and asking to be treated differently then people are used to seeing/treating you in your every day life will be a hard sell for everyone around you. Like this is such a wierd concept to wrap your head around if you haven't experienced it from the inside. So if you are experiencing it you try *everything* else, any way to make it work without having to commit to the bit, and only once someone has reached the point they realise this is their only option to be happy instead of miserable they go for it. The concerns people have make sense if this is the first time you're hearing about the concept but people tend to forget that trans people who live that way every day and not just when it's trendy may have already considered these issues and found a solution that works

@@sethadelmann6533 Exactly. I guess my experience has been when trying to ask questions, or being there when questions are asked, it's meet with an attack. I met a guy a couple of years ago that is not transitioning. She has stated, if anyone calls her by her old name, it's inexcusable. To me, that attitude is unacceptable. I screw up the names of my friends ALL THE TIME, right in front of them. To say that calling someone by the wrong name is inexcusable, for me means I just won't talk to you. If I make a mistake, something we all do, means you're going to rip my head off, then I won't expose myself to that situation. It shuts down communication when we probably need MORE communication.

@@cade377 Absolutely, people make mistakes and that's absolutely fine. I make mistakes with other trans people occasionally. Sometimes I even misgender myself, but this was more when I just started figuring myself out. Most people Irl are normally pretty chill about it, but you will encounter assholes. When I came out and said I was going to transition I sent out a blanket statement to everyone in my life " I will go at any pace you need, but there needs to be a pace". It has been over three years and that attitude has worked wonderfully. My Dad started out with saying he is only able to respect my decision to calling me Seth in front of his Father/ my Opa ( I think the only family member who isn't trying). Maybe he can't use my pronouns consistently yet, but the progress has been incredible and means a lot to me.
However, I do think its important to keep some things in mind. The fact that trans people are a hot topic makes things a little more emotional than it needs to be. There are some people out there with some vile things to say. I occasionally go to transphobic spaces to open up the dialogue and I often have to pretend to be cis to get people to listen to me. I one time had the experience of someone thanking me for giving them a good conversation that they could NEVER have with a trans person. This guy did open up by saying that trans people are degenerates, so I'm not surprised. I hope he did some thinking after I came out to him.

So, I was pretty baffled seeing the entire comments section just lit up with furious white people (the loudest of whom were 100% there to get their ally performative points, rather than actually being affected by the topic or feeling genuine anger).
They’re all going in super hard on the 2 or 3 comments that politely pointed out how like if for no other reason, maybe it’d be smart to let the guy you’re currently deepthroating know when he throws you on the bed, there might be a problem of colliding one way traffic…
All these people though, who I’m thinking now as I’m writing this must just have these takes due to being like 14 yrs old, are screaming and making sarcastic, catty replies saying shit like “jeez, you’d think these homo/transphobe CISsss white MEN would be a bit more chill seeing another cock considering how much they love playing with their own!!?!” Then a bunch of thumbs up and replies piling on “cock on cock violence”, “seeing a cock won’t be your demise”, “being exposed to unexpected penis won’t suddenly make you a gay”…
So, like the point here seems to be the underlying position with the overwhelming majority of online lefties (at minimum within the fairly large streamer’s community I say this at) all agreed upon a position that the majority of society is soooo far removed from even being able to process without reacting from an immediate viscerally negative stance.
These sorts of agreements within far left sections of vocal lefty social discourse that are completely removed from the rhetoric of everyday people seems like an immediate optics loss and to me would be a good estimate of where the actual scorn from not just alt right retards who’ve mostly faded away by this day and age, but just normal people who don’t react well to being called nazis for thinking it wouldn’t be cool to be forced into a situation where all of a sudden you are in this super uncomfortable situation with a confused, still wet with spit half hard on wondering whether you should just pretend you knew there was a meaty hog under the thong because you happen to be really bad with confrontation and hate making people feel bad about themselves. I just hope the majority of the trans community understands we don’t hate them, and we’d just appreciate a little time to get acclimated with how we need to tackle these new sexual encounters for example without hurting one another’s boners, feelings, or/and be left feeling confused about sexuality when we thought it was just the first pussy in months we were about to get.
Personally, I would happily take either without complaint after no pussy since being dumped right before the bubonic plague had us hunker down for 1.5 yrs and lose our savings/pride/confidence/ability to stay sober at 1pm…ya know…

I hate that leftists get lumped in with liberals. Liberals are closer to conservatives than leftists are too liberals, especially those on the far left (Marxists, Anarchists, etc). Plus, most leftists absolutely despise liberals, and most liberals despise leftists. Also, if we're being accurate, conservatives are liberal. The systems that conservatives want to conserve are ideologically liberal, at least economically.
