Pallet Deck

Come along as I show you how I build a deck out of free pallets! This project was very simple and fun to make. A few things you should take into account when creating something like this: 1) Make sure your floor is even 2) Laying out heavy duty trash bags will prevent weeds from growing underneath the deck and they are more affordable than gardening clothes 3) stack up the pallets only if you would like extra height otherwise it is not necessary. 4) if you can afford it Home Depot sells 1 x 3 to fill in the gaps of the pallets to create the floor. Another alternative is buying plywood like I did or simply use pallet wood. I hope you enjoy this video!

Of you're going to use the heavy duty trash bags make sure you perforate it by using a sewing device that looks like a pin wheel on a handle so it can breath a little. If you don't , you're creating a breeding ground for mold

How is the deck holding up especially with the plywood

Good morning!
The play wood due to snow lifted. When I build it the Pandemic had just started and the stores where closed & there was not enough supplies of wood. I suggest you use another material or more pallet wood to fill in the gaps. This summer I am going to build a pool deck with the pallets. Hope you subscribe and stay tuned! Have a wonderful week!
