You mentioned using a light in the dark water I would like to get one for fishing at night for walleye it would be great if you could do a video on using underwater lights for night viewing I was looking at some very bright scuba diving lights but not sure if they would work or would look like bright headlights in a snowstorm also would it be better to have it shining down from just under the ice in say 15 ft of water or should it be under or above the camera and shining in the same direction as the camera. Please do a video on dark water fishing with a light no one has that on RUclips thank you
Motorized tripod is a waste. Cut slot In a frisbee and put camera cord in slot and attach close pin. Holds camera at right level and hold it from spinning. Cheap and easy.
I won like the Chinese version of this camera on RUclips and I swear it works just about as good. Thanks for the spinning tips though I gotta get one of those tripods and weight deals
You can get the aqua vu hd7i and get a seperate recording unit. Just got one and they are awesome. Going ice fishing this weekend and going to bring my big screen TV and inverter and battery and going to watch the fish on a giant screen in HD!
@@BendItFishing thanks for the response, I actually own the marcum pursuit, if I’m in a tent I’m fine but open water in the sun Is a mess. I was thinking about DYI a Sun cover
I could see bottom as you lowered the camera in 50 feet with the infa-red plain as day. It definitely doesn't help letting it hit bottom stirs up lots of sediment & silt
This is true. I usually use my sonar to lower it down then look at the camera to get the right height. Setting it in the mud keeps it from spinning as well.
Nice video! Thanks for sharing The tip about dropping the weight in the bottom is a good one.
A tip: watch movies on Flixzone. I've been using them for watching loads of movies recently.
Great Video!!! Where I live it NEVER gets cold enough to make ice fishing available, but it looks soooo fun!! Best of luck and tight lines!!

These are infrared lights, check out my Cusk / Burbot video I released a few weeks ago that's all at night using the aqua vu
Nice review...I think i'll be gettng this one for sure.
Great review thanks
Glad you liked it thank you
Great video. Do you know how much internal storage there is in the Pro?
8gb and it records in SD, I've used it for 4 hours and still haven't filled it

I like that idea, I might use the clothes pin for mine. I think the motorized one is good for fixed shanties with the camera far away
When I am sitting in my tandem camper ice shack in my lazy boy and watching the fish on the big screen the motorized tripod is the only answer

Glad I could help! Most of these camera share the same sensor so they should be similar tight lines!
jornelindberg: What Chinese camera do you have? Thanks.
@@browntrout611 moocor i think
@@jornelindberg5127 Thanks.
Does it come with an internal re chargeable battery? Or batteries separate? Thanks
Internal rechargeable with the cord that comes with it. Mine lasts for hours
@@BendItFishing Sweet! Thanks! I'll use your link when I order!
Thank you I appreciate the support!
Need best setting or overcast days!!! usually oivercast or snow on ice here!!!!
Best thing you can do is go shallow or run the lights
Great info. I have the same camera. I wish I could record in higher resolution without needing to purchase a $2000 camera, but it works for now.
The next camera up is only about $600

I have an old srt aqua vu. It is heavy and a pain. That unit looks pretty cool. I bet much cheaper than panoptix too.
It's a very cool piece of tech. Super easy to use and fits into a jacket pocket. I have learned so much about fish behavior it's great
@@BendItFishing whatvsize was the screen on that.
@@charlesronk2989 5 inch screen diagonal
What do you do for glare?
The 5 has a sun shield and the 7 inch HD7i Pro I have has a super bright screen. I also where polarized sunglasses that help

That's your best bet. Not sure if aqua vu is brighter or not
