I've had a marcum for a few years and they have fixed the main problem. Adjusting the camera angle. That new system is going to work much better and easier. Great video and great and complete review.

Hi Daryl, that's a great question! Definitely not user replaceable without cracking open the unit and voiding warranty. I don't plan to find out until I have to!

Really enjoyed your review!... Very comprehensive review with lots of detail! Question: How deep can you go with the camera before the color correction is enabled realizing a Sunny day or a cloudy day would certainly have an effect
That's a great question! Lots of variables like cloudy/sunny as you mentioned. Also water clarity and amount of snow cover. I've had it at 20 ft. on a cloudy day with six inches of snow cover and it stayed color through the late morning and mid afternoon hours. It definitely did switch to B&W sooner than I would have liked, but I guess light is light and if it ain't there, there's not much you can do about it! Thanks for watching!

Great review, thinking of buying one. Some of the reviews mention moisture getting into the camera after a couple uses. Have you had any issues with that at all?
I have not ...... two years in on both units and no issues as of yet.
So I picked one up and it’s been good so far, the one thing I noticed is that when I adjust the camera angle I’ll often get no signal or a green screen for a couple seconds, have you noticed this on yours?

Any screen glare hacks?
In the instructions it says you have to turn off the unit when you put the charger on to it so does this mean that you cannot use the unit with the charger hooked up
I've had no problems using the unit while charging via USB.
I have just received mine and I am wondering is there anyway that you can hook this up to an external 12 volt battery

I am still curious about transferring files to my PC. Do I have to remove my SD card and use an adapter?
Asking cause I can't find that info anywhere even in the box or lack of manual.
Yes, you'll need to remove the microSD card from the unit, put it into a full-size SD card adapter, and then into your computer.

This vs the quest HD which one would you chose?
Quest HD doesn't have internal recording like the Pursuit HD and also has a narrower field of view - 90 degrees vs 110 degrees on Pursuit. I'd choose the Pursuit, unless you're getting a great price on the Quest.
Does your camera ever flicker teal blue?
I've experienced that with other brands, but never seen it on my Marcum. Is that happening to you?
@@OldMinnowBoy yes it is, i just bought it yesterday and took it out, got some awesome content but there was a blue flicker time to time. Not sure if it needs to be sent in for warranty or not.
