That's last year's Snapdragon. The new Snapdragon comes out next month (8 Gen 4). If you've been following this channel, you'll already seen the scores. The Apple SOC is 8-10% faster in single core. Multicore, the Snapdragon edges.
@@Marlon_Japple allways proritize efficuancy. Using only 6 cores total and uses effiancy cores. Only leaks are published abour the gen 4 and last leak was lower then the one before.

Since phones are so fast the difference is negligible or unnoticeable.
To be more precise, early whispers regarding the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 have pointed at a single-core score of 3,000 and a multi-core score in the range of ~9,200 points. While the A18 Pro's single-core dominance remains assured, the multi-core crown may well slip to its Qualcomm and MediaTek counterparts. That being said, Apple's latest iOS 18.1 Developer Beta 5 has started reaching iPhones, and it seems that a major performance boost has been granted. Recent Geekbench listings indicate a massive boost in performance to the A18 Pro, with single-core scores reaching 3,600 and multi-core scores reaching as high as 9,400 points.
To be honest, these scores don't make much sense. The A18 Pro consistently delivers much better performance in games. Even the A17 Pro beats the SD8G3 in games despite 3DMark suggesting otherwise.

Have both the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Samsung S24 Ultra, and let's begin with a comparison: display. Samsung-how fast is Samsung? How easy is it to download torrents without paying for any apps? From multitasking to gaming to split-screen to customization to Dex to camera zoom (which is much more important) to battery life to S Pen (and what you can do with the S Pen), audio is better, build quality and look (that boxy look with a flat display is so much better, but overall, the vibrant colors that are so rich and adjustable are the biggest department where the Samsung S24 beats the iPhone 16 Pro Max), coated ANTI-REFLECTIVE SCREEN is somthing that cannot be matched there is not reflection, on sunlight is much more easy to read, so overall it's even stupid to compare the iPhone 16 Pro Max or any iPhone with Samsung. Samsung is even faster than the 16 Pro Max, so maybe it's all about the brand-like that Apple logo or Nike, etc. But there's a good reason why Samsung is more expensive.
After seeing yesterday's comparison, where the iPhone won by far in various aspects such as lower temperature, higher FPS, more efficient CPU and GPU, and longer battery life, it seems that the iPhone is no longer suitable against various smartphones, the iPhone is more suitable compared to 800$ laptop with integrated gpu😂
hopefully, the scores are decent(because first leaks said it would be 10k+ on multi core, but we only got 9k, still better than apple) but we also need to know how hot it gets
If you used that logic, there would never be any comparisons, as we could say that it is unfair that the iPhone 16 from 2023 only competes with the 2024 S25U. It is a Catch-22, so we compare the date of the phone's release. Otherwise, from your flawed logic, the Flip 6 is a 2023 phone despite being released in August 2024!

If Samsung doesn’t prioritize thermals and power consumption and chase these high benchmark numbers, my fear is the S25 Ultra will be the same. Huge peak benchmark numbers that blow A18 Pro out of the water, but immediately met with heavy throttle due to high power draw and temps and thus, bad sustained performance and gaming as well. This is why S23 Ultra outperforms S24U in gaming despite benchmarks being much higher on the S24 Ultra
We are not testing the chip; we are testing the phone, and the S24U was released in 2024. Performance is not only about the chip; its metrics are affected by thermals, OS, app quality, optimisations, etc. So, it is a weak excuse to say that because the chip was manufactured in 2023, it is a 2023 phone! Also, 100% of all global SD8G3 phones were released in 2024 and the ones in the Flip and Fold 6 were only released a month before the iPhone!

The differences between phones are more then a half of year, iphone should challenge with s25 ultra in future, not 24 models. And wait for One UI 7
thats the same as saying the s24U should challenge the iphone 16pm in the future
@@small_pc_gaming lol, the differences between S25 and iPhone 16=3 month's
If you used that logic, there would never be any comparisons, as we could say that it is unfair that the iPhone 16 from 2023 only competes with the 2024 S25U. It is a Catch-22, so we compare the date of the phone's release. Otherwise, from your flawed logic, the Flip 6 is a 2023 phone despite being released in August 2024!

Geekerwan mentioned something about Geekbench not being an accurate benchmarking tool
GB5 I believe. GB6 is pretty good, not as good as spec but I'll have to do a deeper dive into spec benchmark. I typically focus more on gaming tests as benchmarks over traditional benchmarking
@DameTech apparently, there's an industry standard cpu benchmarking tool used by manufacturers. I don't know if it's available for download online. You can check it out and see where it leads you. Dope content btw
He mentioned about Geekbench 5. The Geekbench 6 is accurate
I'm over here a lil butt hurt about it. But I still can't switch to apple! Lol! 🎉 great video

Tienes que volver a hacer la prueba con iOS 18.1 ya que es muy superior en benchmark a iOS 18
update to ios 19 will fix that - it will perform worse, for the sake of iphone 17 release.
Please test the rog phone 8 against the iphone 16 pro max.
I can't get over how the s24 ultra takes a backseat in sustained performance
If Samsung doesn’t prioritize thermals and power consumption and chase these high benchmark numbers, my fear is the S25 Ultra will be the same. Huge peak benchmark numbers that blow A18 Pro out of the water, but immediately met with heavy throttle due to high power draw and temps and thus, bad sustained performance and gaming as well. This is why S23 Ultra outperforms S24U in gaming despite benchmarks being much higher on the S24 Ultra

@small_pc_gaming SD8G3 got released in October 2023. If you dont know that. Just stick to small pc gaming and leave the mobile side of things
@@small_pc_gaming I guess "chip" and "phone" are two *completely* different things
@@aasifsaifi5636 technically the a18 is last year's chip, the a18 is just the a17 pro but with 2 cores turned off, the a18 pro is not any different, that goes the same for the qualcomm or mediatek chips, heck even Google tensors are just exynos chips lol, the newest tensor chip is identical to the newest exynos chip from Samsung
