    Wow, this one's amazing, thank you :) I work only in watercolour and acrylics but some artists give you the impression that no matter their preferred medium and yours, they still have so much to teach you. And Taylor is one of them. I'm probably gonna get his DVD.

    Fantastic video, I follow Bryan Mark Taylor, because he is amazing. He captures so well the places where he has been, I have learned a lot from him. I travel a lot, and have plenty of local views and scenes I want to paint, and sometime it is so difficult to approach a subject, specially if you have a busy street or market. He does it in such a fantastic manner. Bravo!

    couple quick questions about the 30 day contest - does it have to be plein air painting? does it have to be oil?

    • @haleytaylor7316

      No it can be drawing too as long as it's from life doesn't have to be done outdoors.

    Lush colors, and a nice job of "cleaning up" some of the scenery without affecting the mood (went to China before Tiananmen Square). Wish I had known about Strada easels before my recent purchase of a traditional wooden one that I'm already unhappy with. Best wishes to you.

    interesting work. Would have liked to have heard Bryan talk more about his technique and palette rather than plug all the dvd's and easels, great though they sound. Thought colour in your life was supposed to be about the art and artists. Seemed more like a long ad.

    • @ColourinyourlifeAu
      @ColourinyourlifeAu  5 лет назад +2

      If we got more support Sarah we wouldn't have to worry about Ads. It costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to do this every year and I don't see too many people putting their hands in their pockets to help us, Graeme

    • @lucygray6162
      @lucygray6162 5 лет назад +1

      I didn't see it as overly long or an ad. He was relating his accomplishments just as other artists mention their numerous awards or prestigious art schools or personal triumphs, or workshops and galleries. It must be incredibly hard to balance all that with information on techniques in 24 minutes. And as an old-timer, I love hearing about what new products are popping up around the world. :-) Already ordered some Aussie paint based seeing them used on this show ( I live in North Carolina.) Cheers to all.

      Thank you Lucy. You are the kind of person we love to hear from, wonderful positive feed back. I hope to get to North Carolina one day and film some of the folks there. I was in Charlotte many years ago, pretty area, Graeme
