Sublimely beautiful work by an incredibly dedicated artist! "90 days on the spot" for the Ogwen Falls painting, and 2 to 10 years to finish one painting from an ongoing group of 30! An inspiring, intelligent, informative interview and demonstration in which Davids sensitivity and perception is so apparent.
I've. loved watching this series from Down Under and it's great to see you here in the UK. David. Woodford is an exceptional landscape painter. His artistic wisdom that he shares in this video is truly inspirational.
I've been to Wales and it has a stunning landscape. Truly magnificent. I would love to be able to paint plein air there. My heart also loves this man as he looks like a male version of my Irish grandmother who I miss terribly.
Another superb episode Graeme. David is quite obviously a remarkable painter who clearly takes extraordinary pride in his craft as an artist. I particularly admire his attention to detail in many of his landscapes and fervently hope that he enjoys continued good health, affording him opportunity to create more of these masterpieces. Even his pencil drawings are phenomenal, aren't they! Many thanks for bringing David's work to the fore; well done everyone. Nick Harvey.
The pleasure was ALL ours David; you've honed your beautiful skills to an extent where your landscapes are a feast to the eyes sir. I fervently hope that life affords you many more years of bringing enjoyment to us all. Nick Harvey.
No....I've always felt driven to paint and expand on my abilities. Of course there have been exceptionally tough times...unfortunately thats the way the art world seems to work. Remember the problems contain the answers...thank you for the comment David
What an incredible piece of art . Thank you for sharing your wonderful skills and fro bringing back wonderful memories of Llanberis that I visited five years ago. Snow Donita is amazing and you have without doubt brought it to life.with your magnificent paintings. Thank you 😊
That place in Wales reminds me of kaghan Valley in Pakistan. I visited it about 2 years ago and it has some of the best painting ideas. Check out some photos for inspiration will ya!
Amazing! Does he draw first, and then do the underpainting? What kind of pencil does he use? I wish he could teach me how to improve my paintings. Thanks for sharing this wonderful work!

I would love to live in the middle of nowhere and just paint for the rest of my existence. That is a dream of mine. #artmonk

Can you please invite some watercolor artists as well? It has been a long time we have seen any watercolor artist here... Thanks
i hate the word "artist" because its not particular, so ill say Amazing "painter" as it should be call. i will glad to put my hand on this book.
Oil paint is a very good medium but problem is very messy and also took longer time, expensive paint and brushes
Clearly a talented man, great skill...but too photographic for my taste, too detailed.
Fantastic:)
Thank you for sharing the information. Truly inspiring!
