I use V.I.P. in 28, 20, 16 and 12. The 28 bore version is great for pigeon and I've also used them on pheasant with good results with respect to range.
There were two loads in the VIP 28 bore. I use the 21 gram load. The other was the 24 gram which I find too heavy for the gun. I've not seen the larger load on sale for a while but the recoil was just a bit heavy and defeated the object of using the little 28. @@IRateGuns
I’ve used these for the last 5 seasons in a 32 g No 6 shot and they have performed very well. I find them comfortable to shoot with low recoil. Eley Zenith 32 g No 5 shot is excellent too although slightly more costly …. Although as the saying goes “ you get what you pay for”. Great review 👍
