My girlfriend and I only recently became official, and not only do we both have very similar introverted personality types, we’re both each other’s first relationship. It made for a pretty rocky start and a lot of awkward silences, but I think the fact we’re both so similar helps us understand why the other is having difficulty expressing emotions. For one “date” we literally just sat and read together, quietly enjoying each other’s company. It was great. Update: she broke up with me. Said it was her, not me. Probably got afraid of commitment or something idk.

Love how most of the things that make introverts "attractive" are all factors that can be easily unattractive and the reason why they're more likely to be lonely and depressed and single... 1). They are hard to get 0:49 AKA distrustful, uncomfortable with being emotionally vulnerable, more likely to have some sort of emotional trauma, more likely to have an attachment disorder...the list goes on. Guarded. Distance. Aloof. All words you can find on a psych survey for introversion. 2). They have great composure 2:40 This is a great rephrasing of someone who is not emotionally available. Someone who represses their emotions. Emotional flatlining. All signs of emotional dysregulation. Keeping your calm during a stressful scenario is certainly a benefit, but not being able to emotionally relate to people is a bit of a draw back at the same time. A lack of empathy is another way to describe having composure. 3). They are intellectually stimulating 3:19 that usually stems from having an over active logical/rational tendency. Having an underutilized emotional intelligence. 4). They are very self-sufficient 3:59 Independent. Great if you needed to be to survive. Not so great when dealing with teamwork, social settings that require you to cooperate, communicate and work together. This also leads to conflict because being independent means you're less likely to work well with others. You'll prefer to do it yourself, alone which isn't how society is structured. 5). They want personal validation 4:33 that's insecurity. emotional validation from having none growing up. This is the social element at play. Being socially withdrawn means you have no where to source your sense of validation which helps regulation emotions. Think of a child who draws a picture, they take that picture up to their parent for validation, and that parent validates them by putting the picture on the fridge and that makes the child feel better. Same thing. I don't think this video is very helpful if it glorifies asocial behavior. Just because you behave a certain way doesn't mean that you should expect others to appreciate it. There are plenty of horrible qualities that no one should think are attractive just because they exist with them. Most of the time people are introverts because they're socially awkward from avoidance of discomfort from social anxiety. All things that point to childhood trauma or a lack of social exposure growing up. You see the same behavior in dogs if you don't socialize them, they become timid and insecure and aggressive around other dogs and people.
As an introvert I always feel like I'm in the wrong for not trying to fit in, but I hate having to change who I really am, just to make a few friends I won't even like. The idea of "personal validation" really expressed well my objective of creating more meaningful bonds with the people who understand me. I know it might sound a bit narcissistic but this video helped me appreciate myself more, and not constantly think I'm a problem in society.
I've been trying to fit in a lot. My first year of Uni is gonna start in a month and I thought I should stop being an introvert as I'm a law student. I used to be very insecure. And I used to seek validation from others. Which I feel is very self destructive. One thing that I wanna fix is my indecisiveness. I'm indecisive even with little things. For example I go to a shop to buy something I get overwhelmed with the options available. It gets worse when I buy clothes or shoes. Have you ever struggled with this ?
@@anupamakamath383 There were moments where I had to make tough decisions. Like leaving a friend who started to put me aside for others. And when faced with these type of decisions. I always think: What choice will make me the most happy? I have to admit... It is scary to make choices because of the consequences or judgment you'll get from it. By choosing to be alone I was forced to make my own choices, and because of this I learnt to be more decisive. Now ask yourself this: what will truly make you happy? Life is about making choices and instead of fearing the consequences of your actions, embrace them! If you see a shirt that you think looks cute on you (without overspending of course), buy it! There will always be people who will judge you and put you down. My advice is not to listen to them. Surround yourself with people who will encourage while also being honest. I chose to leave that friend I mentioned earlier, and it was a painful decision for me to make. But by making that decision I realised that I was much happier. I didn't feel ignored or worthless and instead went towards people who truly cared for me. And I would rather live having made my own choice, than letting other people decide how I have to act in order to satisfy them.

@@Shadow_09990 Thanks so much. I've been trying to be more responsible. I'm improving my confidence and working on myself. Thanks for the advice too, I've been feeling way too anxious about making decisions. I really need to chill

@@Psych2go When you bring good to the world, good will come back to you. I wish I had been the one to come up with this quote, but I got it from Cobra Kai. It's still really nice nonetheless, and may or may not be helpful to those who are still looking for the person of their dreams. :)
@@mahindrasookraj4876 Don't expect to become wealthy without putting in a lot of effort and time, but if you want to be a fighter there's a LOT of ways you can do that.
@juliab3326 You can still have hope and bring joy to the world, even if you were tormented. Just look at Rocket Raccoon for example, or hell, I can be an example. I had suicidal thoughts and ideation at just 7 years old because I was harassed and bullied so much because I am on the spectrum. To say that being hopeful after such events is "unrealistic" is a way to keep yourself in that dark place FOREVER. Believe me, I know what it feels like, and it's horrible, but I kept going, and it was worth it.
Dear Introverts, You're my favorite type of friends and my favorite type of person to be in a relationship with. I love wanting to know what's going on in that sea of thought you got going on. Love, An Ambivert that leans more extroverted
Oh my goodness, so pleasant to see my favourite CSM manga reference here! Very heartwarming arts of Denji and Asa. By the way, Asa Mitaka is not just introverted, she's somewhat on the autistic spectrum. And that particular date at the aquarium was absolutely insane) Highly recommended, but not for everyone.
As an introvert it is also always very important to not fall into the trap of only liking yourself. I had lots of trouble with that growing up. (and I still do sometimes) Awesome video. It really explains a lot about being an introvert and helps me know more about myself and others. Thank you so much. 👍
Well said! I´m an introvert as well, and at some point I thought I could manage living with no social interaction, or didn´t put enough effort to try and interact with others. Clearly, I was wrong. It´s is difficult to put yourself out there, specially if you lack social skills. But it´s totally worth it!
@@Empire69 Honestly though, being an introvert is a lot better than being extroverted. It’s more secure than going around making a friend every 5 seconds, because those friends you do have become more special to you.
Introverts are not needy. We’re very independent and never “belong” to another person. This goes along with being hard to get. We’re also hard to possess and almost impossible to control. Partners who need to be in control will find introverts difficult to control. We want love, but we don’t need it badly enough to stay in a toxic relationship.
your explanation does make sense , This video is very much ,umm.. "STEREOTYPICAL" imo the way introvertism is described in most of the sources is plain bullshit Infact I dont think a human being is soo simple to be described in one simple term which concludes their whole personality Its more about MOOD somedays i feel like making an impact in everyone's life , making more and more friends and make them happy & the next day I disappear from all the possible places where people can find me and lock myself in my house for a whole frickin month (not even exaggerating lol) Since I have ADHD so I end up oversharing many times and sometimes people give efforts for literally YEARS to know me better but it is not easy to open up so its very much based on mood & These days a new term is originated known as "AMBIVERT" like the actual F that is in the current times there is this WAR+TREND going on ,calling themselves as INTROVERTS , and its just soo annoying cause its like you dont know what and how introvertism is like and just to look CoOL people be doing that . Some people really get offended when are called as extroverts by someone and consider extrovertism as some Insult , they will literally start arguing about that , so messed up FR In this video introvertism is glorified which is just a stereotypical representation upto an extent , being an introvert can also be a result of chronic lonliness or some childhood trauma Like when I was a kid I was very active mainly cause of ADHD, very curious and blunt I never had any real friends in my childhood , the friends I had were mostly using me cause I got real good grades , was good at sports, main singer in all the choirs ,etc but I was always looking for friends , I always radiated joyful energy as a kid but when I changed schools I got bullied ,like real bad(both verbally and sometimes physically) then I again changed schools for that reason but these things changed me a lot , I m like basically paranoid about people , thinking that a person is calling/approaching me makes me overthink soo much that it exhausts my mental energy nd now even when I am invited to places I just start feeling anxious even though everyone is super nice to me and my communication skills sucks the energy I used to radiate is now turned into lethargy and gloominess (lol no I m not depressed and shit , its just I m not very exciting person anymore) in simple words introvertism isnt as nice & cool as described by people and in this video ,an introvert can be a really cold and vicious person with no understanding of others with very judgmental mindset while an extrovert could be a real nice kind , welcoming , comforting and understanding person at the same time this comment isnt hating on any personality trait or something just stating that it is very stereotypical
I’m a massive extrovert and I’ve gotta say, the people I’ve easily become the closest to are the introverts. I love finding out about people and I find a genuine love and curiosity for coming across the treasure of a person they hide underneath their introversion. And honestly I’m so happy I’ve met all those special people who were happy to hear I was interested about them
@@Artsu1993 Patience, they might come off at first as "cold" to some but usually they open up and you get a bubbly person that is eager to listen to you more than talk about themselves.
I'm an introvert. And I love spending time on my own. It's so important for me to have my own space and it's a bubble where I feel safe. I can relate with everything in this video. I've played piano since the age of 7 and I remember in my teenage years how people were really impressed when I played piano in front of them. Haha I was spending all of my free time on practicing the piano, after school, on Wednesday's afternoon, the entire weekends until late at night. The piano helped me so much at understanding my own emotions and others as well, and I got better at expressing myself with other people ^^ I love your channel so much. ❤️ I wish everyone a lovely day and thanks for celebrating the introverts. 😊🌠
I've always been an introvert and agree with all these points. They fit the bill with me, only it's never made me attractive to anyone (except maybe 1 rare situation recently). Every other time I'm left to wallow in my own isolation, not necessarily looked down upon but people keep their distance from me. My younger years the result for being this way always resulted in being called a "freak" or "weird", where people would tease me or keep their distance. So yeah ... Being an introvert isn't always what it's cracked up to be.
Until you find the people you click with or people who aren't full of themselves. Like, as soon as I got out of highschool everyone said that they enjoyed having me around, even when I joined the military I found people enjoyed having me around rather than finding me weird
@@rest1585 honestly, highschool seems like the worst thing in the world, it really isn't. Everyone is hormonal and embarrassed by everything and are insecure about everything. Once you get out no one will really care who you were or what you did in highschool. Don't sweat anything that happens there because no one will remember or care about it. Just be a kid and don't worry about relationships or sex or anything, it's way easier, trust me
the thing with these blue pilled ideas is that theyre ment to apply to everyone and make you feel good like some astrology horoscope. it might not be as cracked up as it seems, because its not, cos truth hurts

I recently met an introvert, we were on a train. I realized that, an introvert is someone who you can trust to give their honest opinion about something. Something that I value. I was fed a lot of lies about myself growing up and now I am sorting out what is true about me, and what is not. Your channel has helped me on this journey, so thank you for making these videos. The short videos always leave me with questions that help me explore myself. Stay safe, stay sane, stay strong
I've always been very introverted and quiet, just that for some strange reason I never wanted to admit it. In fact watching this video made me reevaluate the way I think about introversion and now I understand that I am therefore an introvert. This video completely represents me, I'm happy now. Thx!
I’m an introvert who just got in a relationship with my best friend. We met at work and because we never really talked at all- he gave me his number and we started talking slightly growing more closer as two months went by I find it difficult to keep my emotions or understanding them because I’m autistic. He’s patient with me, not just kind but humble and unhesitatingly honest! He accepts and respects me, he keeps me smiling and laughing even at work. (Him and me are also extremely similar) When it comes to tough topics, we’re there to comfort each other, and he also respects not just my consent but also pays attention to me from afar. He’s pretty quiet, alittle shy and somewhat outgoing, but he is the biggest dork ever and I love him. I’ve always been hard to get because I see people trying to win my heart like a game and I like my personal opinions and space To make matters better, our first date was a library date, we tried to read but he listened to me geek out about a few books I love and he geeked out about a few manga’s he loved, best day of my life💛
As an introvert I can relate with this video completely. I am hard to get. I open to few people. I am an INFJ . I love this channel. This channel is the only one who understands and gets me. I am very quiet and silent and spend time by myself. I agree. I am judged for being myself. 💖💖♥️,💗
Thanks for sharing!! :) We are happy to hear that! Hope this video made you feel more reassured and accepted. How many of these points did you resonate with?
@@Psych2go I don't know, I don't know too much about art. I just like this one! The video was also good, it made me feel less bad about being an introvert
@@feripefelie dude that's from the manga don't spoil it for people. Drawing it like this doesn't make it a spoiler because to some it just looks like some pretty characters to them, but if you tell them outright then you might spoil it for them.
This in my opinion is 100% accurate. From my standpoint anyway. I'm very slow to warm up and only a few have really tried to get to know me. It's those people that I cherish the most. I am a person who needs privacy and has what others would call an elaborate way of thinking. I also seek to fulfill my dreams and follow my morals above everything else. While I do agree with everything in this video my experience has been different. I struggle with codependency. While I'm an introvert at heart who seeks and functions like the facts stated in the video for people's pleasures like myself It gets hard to truly express myself while not feeling the pressure of others. Always feeling the need to pick between myself and others. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this but I just want to say you not alone and their nothing wrong with being introverted despite what people say. I know it's hard for people pleasures to get help and feel like they have a voice. I have been getting help to fight this codependence nature I've been embedded with sense childhood. And if your struggling in a similar way to know your are not alone and that there is hope to truly express your authentic self. ❤🤗
Today during the school lunch me and the boys were just chatting about other people (not "like talking behind their back" way) and then we got to the introvert friend, I learned quite a lot about him in that moment since he wasn't even in my class, he was in the one where our old classmate friends were there so this was very interesting to me and I rarely hear them compliment other people, especially THAT much. They kept saying how perfect he is, how he has no hobbies and is still good at pretty much everything: Frisbee, skiing, skating, school etc. My classmate (also my best friend) mentioned how he's not that good at swimming but for me he is pretty decent, not fast but technique is good and average speed. It made my day to hear just how much good my friends have to say about other people since they're quite teasing and judgy (in a joking way which isn't good either).
ngl this actually makes me feel a lot better about myself(as an introvert). I tend to be pretty harsh on myself at times but I learned some stuff from this video [
How about you stop whinning and learn how to deal with others instead? Not everybody is obliged to obey your needs. Imagine... I actually learned that and it's much easier that to live in some fairy tale self absorbed echo chamber.
As an introvert, yes I agree. However, I try to stay clear of dating apps as I think that the best matches are the ones who meet in person. Love at first sight might almost never be true for both ends, but those who are in close proximity, like classmates or such(so they get to know eachother over an extended period of time) can become a good pair. I think. I don't have a match yet...
I’m an autistic INTP and my special interest is chainsaw man. I see myself a lot in Asa so this video brought me a lot of joy. The artist that drew this and came up with the idea to use Asa did a great job!!
Thank you so much psych2go I as an introvert often feel that I should be more approachable but this video made me think differently and well appreciate myself a little
I just took a personality test. INTJ and 89% introvert, normally I'm really sceptical about (free) online tests but this is really accurate. Guess my introversion isn't just a massive obstacle in my way of finding someone to have an intimate relationship with.
Thanks for these videos. I'm still searching for that special someone, and as a socially anxious introvert it can be very hard to connect with people. So it's nice to know that there are people who find some of my personality traits attractive.
As an extroverted man with ASD, I cannot begin to express how much I appreciate introverts. I'm in this unfortunate place where I need social interaction, but can quickly become overwhelmed and burned out due to my disability. Combine this with a difficult time reading more complex social dynamics outside of small groups, and I struggled a lot as a kid to fit in. The people who I have found able and willing to see past my disability to who I am beneath (my values, desires, and character) have always been introverts. The best friend I have is a definitive introvert, and I can't imagine going through some of my struggles without them. So to any introverts struggling with self worth, society may struggle to see it and validate it. But a willingness to listen, truly listen and not hear, can help save someone else's life. You have a lot to give and the people who value you for you may learn how to do a better job listening too.
Fr, I'm an extro with social anxiety, and my closest best friends have all been introverts. While yes, I did have an extroverted best friend group, it fell apart eventually, and I've always been the type to fully listen and not just hear. Honestly I get along w introverts because I overlap a lot of their traits
Watching this made me realize I'm not an introvert. The only description that matched with me in this video was that I liked being alone in my own world and that I don't value social validation. 1. I would actually talk to someone if they approached first. I don't really approach first, but would gladly engage small talk when prompted. 2. I'm prone to loud emotional outbursts when things mildly inconvenience me. I shout when something I'm holding slipped, or when I stepped on something disgusting. 3. Most conversations I had were very superficial and very unintellectual. Most of my intellectual conversations refer more to work than personal, and it's mainly jargon anyway. 4. I usually just ask for help or dump troublesome work to my colleagues. I try to help them in theirs, but would never attempt doing something unprompted and unsupervised. I guess I'm more lazy than introverted, but that's fine lol
saw this on a csm subreddit and I needed to watch this they are just too adorable omg Edit: was talking to myself during this video and accidentally called her ass-a 😭
As an introvert I can unashamedly say that it makes me happy to hear that some of those reserved qualities do get recognised by others in a positive light. Also shout out to the art style and the scene used, slightly surprising given how recent that date occured (I read that particular work and know the scene you've shown)
Being an introvert- I like being by myself mostly and have like two friends, one is an extrovert, and one is like me. It definitely took me 3 years to become best friends as I possibly could not have become comfy with someone I met immediately. Now we have been friends for like 10 years I believe. In... class I definitely look like I came back from death- I never ever speak and participate and I definitely look emotionless. ok but that quoting for me is true. "Listen more speak less, View more snore less." I'm still kind of surprised that I can understand a person's true nature on first view even though they say "don't judge a book by its cover." -Ask me any question-
That's basically me, man. I'm 18 and i still have only 3 friends, despite not talking too much with any of them anymore (i moved). Things got a little bit sad, you know, not making any friends in the past 2 years.
I don’t know where i sit on the intro/extrovert line, my opinions and ideals are my own, but they can still be shifted by others. I like my alone time a lot, but sometimes i have a social itch to scratch. i LOVE star wars (if you couldn’t already tell), but i will easily rant on about it for hours, to anyone. I’m definitely leaning towards the introvert side, but idk, I’m not entirely there.
Me an ambivert who drifts more towards the introvert side the outcast and third wheel of all the groups who is totally an introvert but acts like an extrovert when ppl are around she isn’t comfortable with(literally 99% of population) a couple of individuals see her without her mask and make her happy and she’s fine with that along with getting plenty of alone time reading and drawing and having the most supportive best friend/crush who is very similar socially but we are more long distanced friends. My life is very good at the moment❤
This is kinda reassuring. I always wonder if people would like me as a introvert (never been in a relationship before). Also, my first time watching this channel, and can I just say that her voice is so soothing and calming? It feels like the entire video is a reassurement, I love it. Thank you!
'Morals, passions, goals' While most of the video does apply to me, the 'Morals, Passions and Goals' part literally sums up my life as an introvert. I go about my day at school and see a lot of other students stare at me because I don't go along with modern day trends such as clothing or activities. I dress very formal all the time and I wear a long 80 year old leather coat as that is what I really like to wear. I don't wear it as to stand out from everyone else, I wear it as to show people what I believe in, and what my morals are. I get the question regularly what I am wearing and why but I just explain it in a normal way.
Omg, the match you showed! I'm an INFJ and he's an ENFP, we get along really well but there are times when I feel as if he's no longer interested to continue when in reality he's just more self-sufficient than I am. This was very helpful. Thanks! 💗

Highly agreed on all of those, there's always that soft-spot for those personalities, I find them quite charming once you get to know them. Good video as always
i swear once you open a.conversation that interests an introvert, theres no coming back, you should listen to them as they talk about their interest , it is their joy. so one tip, find out what their interest are and learn about it.
3:19 this actually makes sense to me. Since I'm an introvert, and most of my classmates are extroverts. My studies and grades excelled far above most of my classmates.
I am definitely the "weird kid" at school. I bring in stuff animals and listen to a totally different, not to mention talk about random things. She didn't propose but directly asked me for marriage.I was stunned as she initiated for the relationship. One of the main characters in my graphic novel trilogy is an introvert. He's not the main protagonist, but he's a special character because it's definitely based on my own and other people's attributes of being introverted. Favorite part about him is how his powers develop further as he becomes comfortable in his own skin with who he is as a person.

I must say, as an introvert, my "ideal type" is someone who is comfortable to be around. And i feel like it's so tough to even get people like that for me because i have never gotten to a point in my relationships with people where i end up actually saying how i feel like, or what i genuinely feel like at that moment. I feel like i end up masking a lot just for the person's comfort, that i forget about my own and how that could affect on long-term. Ig that's why people don't find me attractive ;-; it's not even abt if I'm attractive or not, it's just that, I'm not interesting enough for people to think about me because i don't say much abt myself. that's why idk if my friends are real or not, it just feels a lil far from the definition of it.
You are my twin in this case. I also struggle ALOT figuring myself out as I figure other people's emotional needs instantly and then I try all to fulfill them .

I still very much care what people think, despite being introverted. But at the same time, I really don't care too? It's hard to explain. Though this video made me happier to be introverted than extroverted. I really can't be bothered to pretend to be extroverted for attention anymore.

I loved this breath of fresh air, as I’ve been pushed by my family to do lots of things- NOT to say that it’s bad, it’s just a liiittle much sometimes. Often times at my dads and/or at school, I have to conform to a more extroverted personality in order to be able to go about my day, but most times if I’m ever given the option to talk to someone I don’t know, then obviously I’m going to say no… Besides that, thanks for this video, it really helps
As a male introvert with anger problems i can't associate myself fully with this video, but i can still see some things that are actually describing me. Though "hard to get" is actually a pretty bad dating trait for male introverts.
A huge thank you for this !! i spent decades convinced that my introversion was a burden to finally realize at my 30s birthday party, seeing all those folks reunited, that it is kind of an intuitive soft power for me, ableing me to reunite them and develop strong connection with them over the years
Could you do a video like this on Ambiverts? Asking because I've been told by one of my more intellectual friends that I strike her as an ambivert, and I can definitely see it. Before she told me though, I didn't even know those were a thing.
I love how when I saw the title, the first thought that popped into my head unprompted; lacking any malice or force; and stated clear and clean as though it were uncontestable fact; was "Nothing makes you attractive". Even now I find no fault with this statement. I love internalized self-loathing!
I'll watch this one lol Edit: Anyone else get some skipping in the audio? Also, I'm in love with the aquarium theme! It was calming and exciting and makes me want to go visit an aquarium! Went to the everglades recently and spent hours staring at the fish! I almost made us late to the rest of the day's appointments, but my goodness I felt way better after than before! Anyway.
I wish my girl scout leader had this kind of understanding of me when I was growing up she basically wrote me off as antisocial just because I didn't want to hang out with a bunch of fake people who only pretend to be friends when the adults were around. With that and my family trouble on my dad's side I felt worthless and unwanted it was hard to be in these group settings when you were basically invisible to them all the time
P.S.:- Read only the last part if you want to save time. Personally, I've been an introvert all my life. Recently, since almost 1 year, I've made some friends with whom I can be open to. So, I tend to always be with my group (only) and seem extroverted (i.e., possessing open gestures and laughing a LOT). But ig people notice that when I am not with my friends, I don't laugh/talk much (although I try to be social). I 'seem' very innocent and nerdy so they don't expect me to crack jokes and be sarcastic. When they do realise, they tend to somewhat like me romantically. Maybe because it somehow makes me attractive bcz they didn't 'expect' me to have such a humour/whatever. But what I think ACTUALLY makes me/other people like me attractive is that we tend to 'be ourselves' at all times. Even if it means being cringy and showing people our weaknesses. POV:- Ik it may sound cheesy, but believe me, even if you are an extrovert/introvert or come under any other category, being yourself is what's gonna make you attractive. Even if you're not confident, being yourself is gonna possess confidence, even if it means showing your weak and cringy sides.
Now ik why my best friends likes introvert so much being an introvert myself ik introvert are really boring ppl to hang around with but ig I was wrong, she once told me an introvert guy is her ideal type, thanks now ik more bout myself than ever! My confidence is boosted
I knew that I was introvert but never knew that it could be this good to be one. I really appreciate that you told the world how I or people like me feel about ourselves and others

@@Psych2go not a problem
Love how most of the things that make introverts "attractive" are all factors that can be easily unattractive and the reason why they're more likely to be lonely and depressed and single...
1). They are hard to get 0:49
AKA distrustful, uncomfortable with being emotionally vulnerable, more likely to have some sort of emotional trauma, more likely to have an attachment disorder...the list goes on. Guarded. Distance. Aloof. All words you can find on a psych survey for introversion.
2). They have great composure 2:40
This is a great rephrasing of someone who is not emotionally available.
3). They are intellectually stimulating 3:19
that usually stems from having an over active logical/rational tendency. Having an underutilized emotional intelligence.
4). They are very self-sufficient 3:59
Independent. Great if you needed to be to survive. Not so great when dealing with teamwork, social settings that require you to cooperate, communicate and work together. This also leads to conflict because being independent means you're less likely to work well with others. You'll prefer to do it yourself, alone which isn't how society is structured.
5). They want personal validation 4:33
that's insecurity. emotional validation from having none growing up.
Thank you, it did help out!

"STEREOTYPICAL" imo
the way introvertism is described in most of the sources is plain bullshit
Infact I dont think a human being is soo simple to be described in one simple term which concludes their whole personality
Its more about MOOD
somedays i feel like making an impact in everyone's life , making more and more friends and make them happy & the next day I disappear from all the possible places where people can find me and lock myself in my house for a whole frickin month (not even exaggerating lol)
Since I have ADHD so I end up oversharing many times and sometimes people give efforts for literally YEARS to know me better but it is not easy to open up
so its very much based on mood
& These days a new term is originated known as "AMBIVERT" like the actual F that is
in the current times there is this WAR+TREND going on ,calling themselves as INTROVERTS , and its just soo annoying cause its like you dont know what and how introvertism is like and just to look CoOL people be doing that . Some people really get offended when are called as extroverts by someone and consider extrovertism as some Insult , they will literally start arguing about that , so messed up FR
In this video introvertism is glorified which is just a stereotypical representation upto an extent , being an introvert can also be a result of chronic lonliness or some childhood trauma
Like when I was a kid I was very active mainly cause of ADHD, very curious and blunt I never had any real friends in my childhood , the friends I had were mostly using me cause I got real good grades , was good at sports, main singer in all the choirs ,etc but I was always looking for friends , I always radiated joyful energy as a kid but when I changed schools I got bullied ,like real bad(both verbally and sometimes physically) then I again changed schools for that reason but these things changed me a lot , I m like basically paranoid about people , thinking that a person is calling/approaching me makes me overthink soo much that it exhausts my mental energy nd now even when I am invited to places I just start feeling anxious even though everyone is super nice to me and my communication skills sucks the energy I used to radiate is now turned into lethargy and gloominess (lol no I m not depressed and shit , its just I m not very exciting person anymore)
in simple words introvertism isnt as nice & cool as described by people and in this video
,an introvert can be a really cold and vicious person with no understanding of others with very judgmental mindset while an extrovert could be a real nice kind , welcoming , comforting and understanding person at the same time
this comment isnt hating on any personality trait or something just stating that it is very stereotypical

I as an introvert often feel that I should be more approachable but this video made me think differently and well appreciate myself a little
I just took a personality test.
Honestly I get along w introverts because I overlap a lot of their traits

as a gigachad I agree with you 🗿
Watching this made me realize I'm not an introvert.

Being an introvert- I like being by myself mostly and have like two friends, one is an extrovert, and one is like me. It definitely took me 3 years to become best friends as I possibly could not have become comfy with someone I met immediately. Now we have been friends for like 10 years I believe. In... class I definitely look like I came back from death- I never ever speak and participate and I definitely look emotionless. ok but that quoting for me is true. "Listen more speak less, View more snore less." I'm still kind of surprised that I can understand a person's true nature on first view even though they say "don't judge a book by its cover."

3:50 My eyes lit up when you guys mentioned reading, writing, music and film. Those are literally my four hobbies haha
This is kinda reassuring. I always wonder if people would like me as a introvert (never been in a relationship before). Also, my first time watching this channel, and can I just say that her voice is so soothing and calming? It feels like the entire video is a reassurement, I love it. Thank you!
They will! ;-)
You just have to fine some deep and smart people!
'Morals, passions, goals'
While most of the video does apply to me, the 'Morals, Passions and Goals' part literally sums up my life as an introvert.
I get the question regularly what I am wearing and why but I just explain it in a normal way.
omg Asa and denji on the thumbnail is just so right!!!
Omg, the match you showed! I'm an INFJ and he's an ENFP, we get along really well but there are times when I feel as if he's no longer interested to continue when in reality he's just more self-sufficient than I am. This was very helpful. Thanks! 💗
As an introvert, I know that as hard as it can sometimes be, You should never change for others ... Be yourself 🙃
I was just thinking about my introverted self!! I took a test about this just before!
~INFJ
Woohooo INFJ! It's great to see that you're taking steps to understand yourself better! Can you share more about the test you took and what insights you gained about your introverted nature? How have these insights impacted your life? - Cindy
Highly agreed on all of those, there's always that soft-spot for those personalities, I find them quite charming once you get to know them. Good video as always
i swear once you open a.conversation that interests an introvert, theres no coming back, you should listen to them as they talk about their interest , it is their joy.
so one tip, find out what their interest are and learn about it.
the art in these videos is criminally underrated
3:19 this actually makes sense to me. Since I'm an introvert, and most of my classmates are extroverts. My studies and grades excelled far above most of my classmates.
I am definitely the "weird kid" at school. I bring in stuff animals and listen to a totally different, not to mention talk about random things. But they make me feel better, more safe, more comfortable. But i get teased A LOT. Even bullied. And so i find myself living, like, three different lives, and it is so draining.
Not stuffed animals, but I kept bringing rocks to school. Ani I mean big ones. Sometimes the size of a volleyball
Nothing wrong with rocks! I used to play with mud when I was younger.
I'm sorry. I hope life improves for you.
You guys are cool
I used to find myself so strange and weird, but now I like being a introverted. We're special in this extroverted world ❤️
This videos reminds me of how I am so quiet, but I hear almost everything going on in class.
aww its so cute how you use denji and asa's aquarium date as the background and theme
YES, I'm an introvert myself and YES, I like being told that I'm attractive!
applies to guys as well
@@shirovergavesta7883 Their comment wasn't gendered in the first place...

While I was in collage I was a best friend to a girl who was one of the most prettiest girl in the collage.
She didn't propose but directly asked me for marriage.I was stunned as she initiated for the relationship.
She was beyond my reach in terms of looks, personality and finance. She was a traffic stopper and sometimes I would feel a bit shy of myself.
When I refused her proposal she asked me for the explanation. Religion, economic and cultural differences were the reasons.
She even persuaded my parents but since it was my decision so they had to submit.
With a heavy heart she moved away. With tears in her eyes she requested me to keep the friendship alive and said a word.
"The girl for whom you would cry would be the most luckiest person on this earth."
When my eyes get moist I remember her words.
Good for you, now have a nice day whatever the future holds
Damn, are you still friends?
Being an hard-core introvert I just could relate this video so much . Lots for love for this beautiful animation 😍 ❤
Thanks for sharing :) We hope this video helped!! How many signs described you?
Letsgooo Ashley and Dennis thumbnail
I love the book Quiet. I instantly knew which book quote that was when I heard it.
As an introvert, I can relate to this video. I hardly open to people and open only to those who I trust, I hardly even befriend someone so almost always I'm alone with my thoughts. All of the things mentioned here are very true
As an introvert I can agree everything you said is true a girl in my class even called me a weirdo just because I don't talk
Nothing bad by being a weirdo ;-)
That's much more interesting that being boring xD
I always thought that I should sometimes listen to others and do what they say but I always found it difficult to understand why don't agree with my opinion or my decision. I thought maybe I am the problem but I don't think I am the problem anymore after this video the last point is true for me I prefer to take my decision based on what I feel is right for me morally. So thanks for this video
ASADEN ON THE THUMBNAIL LET'S GOOO
wait a minute, is that fanart of Denji and Asa Mitaka?! That's really cool!
Also, great video!
I, as an introver, really like watching these kind of videos because the make me feel understoo but I also want to know more about extroverts. Can you maybe make a video that's about something extroverts don't show? I mean just because they act so happy doesn't mean thay've got a good live. Maybe some are hiding their thoughts?
One of the main characters in my graphic novel trilogy is an introvert. He's not the main protagonist, but he's a special character because it's definitely based on my own and other people's attributes of being introverted. Favorite part about him is how his powers develop further as he becomes comfortable in his own skin with who he is as a person.
You can't say all that and NOT drop the name of your work
@@aashishhumagain2559 There's a reason why I don't. Instead of advertising and making promises of it, I focus my energy toward making it. Starting with smaller goals that make up the big ones. Would you still like it's name?
@@nickthepick8043ahh is it a work in progress?
You are my twin in this case
You are my twin in this case. I also struggle ALOT figuring myself out as I figure other people's emotional needs instantly and then I try all to fulfill them .
@@daredavl9905 Holy sheesh S A M E. so much for validation:") And I really wish I could evolve from this thought process or whatever, but it's just so tough T-T
The way you expressed this thought is relatable
Unless we feel comfortable with that person, we usually hold our tongue or end up masking our thoughts to avoid being ostracized and judged
A person who is truly comfortable with em selves, easygoing and a listener makes a perfect soundboard😅
Love the chainsaw man references. Great vid keep up the good work
I still very much care what people think, despite being introverted.
But at the same time, I really don't care too?
It's hard to explain. Though this video made me happier to be introverted than extroverted. I really can't be bothered to pretend to be extroverted for attention anymore.
This channel’s thumbnails are the best with all the good references they do.
Thank you for your feedback!
As an introvert and future marine biologist, I *love* the use of the ocean and sea creatures in this video! 😊
Biology is cool , i wanna be a zoologist one day 😊
As a some kind of introvert, I tried fighting introversion bc I had an image like it isn't normal, I think I did some good job but I'm worried that at times, I might go too far😞, but I dont really think I will change even further, especially after finding out that such thing is found attractive, i even got somebodys interest by it so.... i js wanna say im happy to see that vid confirming my changed point of view😅
The thumbnail looks like miraculous ladybug ! Thx for the video !
I loved this breath of fresh air, as I’ve been pushed by my family to do lots of things- NOT to say that it’s bad, it’s just a liiittle much sometimes. Often times at my dads and/or at school, I have to conform to a more extroverted personality in order to be able to go about my day, but most times if I’m ever given the option to talk to someone I don’t know, then obviously I’m going to say no…
Besides that, thanks for this video, it really helps
As a male introvert with anger problems i can't associate myself fully with this video, but i can still see some things that are actually describing me. Though "hard to get" is actually a pretty bad dating trait for male introverts.
I can relate to this video a lot! Thank you, Psych2Go! Feels comfortable knowing that it's okay to have those beliefs and traits ^_^

A huge thank you for this !! i spent decades convinced that my introversion was a burden to finally realize at my 30s birthday party, seeing all those folks reunited, that it is kind of an intuitive soft power for me, ableing me to reunite them and develop strong connection with them over the years
That thumbnail is the prettiest thing I've seen all day. the girl with the book looks adorable.
now I feel like a failed introvert
I am an ambivert and I get so confused with myself sometimes
Could you do a video like this on Ambiverts? Asking because I've been told by one of my more intellectual friends that I strike her as an ambivert, and I can definitely see it. Before she told me though, I didn't even know those were a thing.
There also another one is omnivert ruclips.net/video/wuzRLhYxDrg/видео.html
as an introverted chainsaw man fangirl who heavily relates to asa mitaka, loved seeing both her and denji here! great vid
I love how when I saw the title, the first thought that popped into my head unprompted; lacking any malice or force; and stated clear and clean as though it were uncontestable fact; was "Nothing makes you attractive".
Even now I find no fault with this statement. I love internalized self-loathing!
I'll watch this one lol
Edit: Anyone else get some skipping in the audio?
Also, I'm in love with the aquarium theme! It was calming and exciting and makes me want to go visit an aquarium! Went to the everglades recently and spent hours staring at the fish! I almost made us late to the rest of the day's appointments, but my goodness I felt way better after than before! Anyway.
What about all the other ones?

Clicked for Asa and Denji. Good video!
I wish my girl scout leader had this kind of understanding of me when I was growing up she basically wrote me off as antisocial just because I didn't want to hang out with a bunch of fake people who only pretend to be friends when the adults were around. With that and my family trouble on my dad's side I felt worthless and unwanted it was hard to be in these group settings when you were basically invisible to them all the time
Chainsawman references? You guys have taste!
You know it! Glad you caught that
@@Psych2go yes I also caught in a past video the Kaguya-sama:Love is war details. I love meaningful stuff!
0:56 is a chainsaw man reference and I have no idea if this is intentional
Now ik why my best friends likes introvert so much being an introvert myself ik introvert are really boring ppl to hang around with but ig I was wrong, she once told me an introvert guy is her ideal type, thanks now ik more bout myself than ever! My confidence is boosted
I knew that I was introvert but never knew that it could be this good to be one.
I really appreciate that you told the world how I or people like me feel about ourselves and others
