    Wow, these kind of upper beginner/intermediate word building lessons are so useful. All the verbs containing 나다 that I already know now come together logically in my head. Plus when I see a new verb with this form, I'll have a big step up in understanding how it's used. Thank you so much.

    Hi Teacher! Can I ask if I can use 나다 in future tense form? Thank you!

    • @KoreanJream
      @KoreanJream  3 года назад +4

      안녕하세요! (If I remember correctly, during the live you told be your name right? Was it 루슬란? Please remind me!) 나다 for the future, or probability ending is 날 거예요/날 거야(non-polite).
      잘 들어 보세요. 무슨 소리가 날 거예요.
      Listen carefully. Some sound will occur = You'll hear something.
      나중에 이 노래를 들으면 네 생각이 날 거야.
      When/if I hear this song in the future, I will think of you (it will remind me of you).
      More natural structure to use in the probability ending is with ~것 같아요 in many contexts: it looks like it will/would...
      자꾸 그러면 짜증날 거 같아. 그만해.
      If you keep being like that, I think I will be irritated. Stop.

    woww i was actually getting really confused with the meanings of 나다 and this video came out! 설명해줘서 정말 감사합니다 선생님! i just realised there are so many familiar expressions that i've seen in dramas such as 기억 나, 생각 나, now i know why yayy!! 😆
    근데, 질문 있어요 선생님. in one of your examples "감기에 걸리면 기침이 나고.....", why did you use the particle "에"? i'm still quite confused with this particle actually, because most people usually just explain its uses related to location, destination, time, but then i see 에 being used in situations where i thought a subject particle should be used, for example like 그 게임에 관심이 없어 🤔 sorry if it's not really related to this topic 🙏

    • @KoreanJream
      @KoreanJream  3 года назад

      I am really happy to hear it clarified lots of expressions you’ve heard before! Thank you for telling me it was useful! 🤩
      About your question, don’t apologize first of all. 😊 Like you said it’s used in various contexts. I think it’s used in many situations where you will use any prepositions like at, in, on, to, etc. 😅 Like “interested in” = -에 관심이 있다 as you mentioned, “to get on” = -에 타다.
      For the cold, think of it as a fixed idiomatic expression. 걸리다 is to be caught, and it’s used with -에. For instance, 옷이 의자에 걸렸어요. (My cloth got caught at/by the chair.) And this is used for the cold: I got caught by the cold. 😁 Same for many other diseases: 암 cancer, 독감 flu, 병 illness, etc. Hope this helps (even though it’s not the most clear explanation...😳)!!!

    • @435362helena
      @435362helena 3 года назад

      @@KoreanJream thank you so much for the explanation 선생님! if i may ask again, for cases like 관심, does it still make sense if the 에 is replaced with object particles so for instance 그 개임을 관심이 없어?
      noted on the fixed idiomatic expression for cold and diseases, but i was wondering for the case of 옷이 의자에 걸렸어요, can the 에 here be replaced by object particles or maybe even 로? or it is also already fixed as well in that case? are there cases where 에 can be replaced with other particles? thank you so much 🙇‍♀️

    • @KoreanJream
      @KoreanJream  3 года назад

      Fixed! 😁 -(으)로 is mostly used for tools/means and directions. I know some -에 can be replaced by -을/를 like 버스에 타다/버스를 타다 or 밖에 나가다/밖을 나가다, and that’s probably why you have these questions. For some reason when it’s directional or destination, people use both. That doesn’t expand to these idiomatic fixed phrases. So it’s always 게임에 관심이 있다/없다 😊

      I can totally see how it can be quite confusing because there are way more usages than you learn in the textbook. You actually made me think about -에more from learners’ perspective! If I can, I’ll make a video about it in the future. I’ll have to think a little more in depth about how to organize the usages and make it easy for learners to understand. 💖 저도 고맙습니다!!!

    What are differences each other? Please explain that..... thank you so much 쌤

    • @KoreanJream
      @KoreanJream  3 года назад

      They are all synonyms of 나다 when 나다 is used for accidents, incidents but not for body symptoms and 냄새/맛/etc. They are sometimes interchangeable but not always.
      홍수/지진/사고/사건/화재 + 나다, 발생하다, 일어나다 to occur
      생기다: something that was non-existent sprouts/is born
      (일이 생기다, 여드름이 생기다/나다, 잘생기다/못생기다)
      But for 피/땀/눈물/콧물/열/기침/재채기/etc. you use 나다, not others.
      It's not as clear cut, but hope it helped a bit!
