Great video as always, nice hound there too. Good luck.

Agree 100% that tracking is the last thing to do.
Much of this is common sense and logic - but it's surprising how many people who should know better neglect the basic checking.
Interesting my MAN has 4 threaded bosses, but 2 lock stops.
Looking forward to next week 😀

Yeah, we are not splitting an atom here that is for sure. Over the years I have had a number of "I have had it tracked up, but it still wont go straight" jobs and its usually the same outcome, - the steering box wasn't centered.
I also think its becoming a lost skill to some of today's HGV "Technicians". I had a truck VOR at a main dealer for two days waiting for a mobile wheel alignment service to arrive on site. The dealer service manager said they were not geared up for alignment, by that I assume they had lost the ball of string.

great stuff could you do a background/history video on the fleet master and the 4000 in the back ground please? my dad used to drive a 4500 6x4 cat powered which i loved riding in as a kid as the cab was so bouncy!

That 4500 would have been a beast back in the day. It would have sounded terrific. I don't have an awful lot of information on the 3 lorries I have but I am sure I could probably pull something together for them.

@@cabacs8062 that would be grand and yes the 4500 Cat was an animal, plated for 120 ton ex Kings heavy haulage from bristol.
