I guess my biggest determining factor for someone of ADOS or Black ancestry in America being referred to as "Black" is did that individual consider themselves Black? In this specific situation i dont think that is true for her mom. Sad and tragic, yet race is a burden to bare, and i don't expect everyone to carry it the same way.
She's white passing but she is biracial.
She is not biracial. That is 50/50. She is only 25% black.

Not bi racial, less than a quarter Black American. However she has discussed this issue exhaustively since it had such a huge impact on her mother's family.

Seemslike the type of woman,that has ton of idiosyncrasies.... scary, but really attractive.
She's doing another project about race because she has black in her ancestry. "Passing" is an offensive word to me. People use that word as though humans are duping others. In fact DNA is complex. All you have to do is go to ancestry and see that people have certain percentages of different races. Two siblings can have different percentages of the same race, one sibling can have an ethnicity the other doesn't. They aren't "passing" for another race, they are exhibiting the percentages in their DNA. In the end we aren't our race anyway, we are souls having an expression through a body. I feel it causes separatism and disconnection to over identify with our bodies because when we shed them behind they are merely organic waste. They aren't who we really are, they're like costumes at a party for learning and growth. Most people aren't awake in life, it's like they're inside a box and they don't know that they are so they simply over identify with the tools and are caught up in a trance inside our temporary home.
