probably the best hybrid car in the PH now now. Perfect in our metro manila roads. Small to fit in really tight streets, very fuel efficient, has enough ground clearance, looks modern and not very expensive compared to other hybrid offerings.
as may I add the e-pedal stop perfectly specially during heavy rain the becomes not slippery that's the best way to use it. its like there is no wet floor. perfect if u want safety that's what others don't have. specially when we have 9 months of rain and dirty road which is not clean. the Bluetooth on the car is every high-tech you wont have difficulties pairing it. highly responsive. the legs room is more than sufficient cause I'm 6'2 and very comfortable same as the explorer. you just need to adjust the seat. try it so you know

This hybrid technology is actually the only one of its kind here in PH. And it's very good because the competition led Nissan to market something so innovative. And I've also heard that Ertiga Hybrid is actually using a technology similar to Toyota's new hybrid system in one if its vehicles. And both are in the same price bracket ba?
I would compare the Ertiga more with Okavango with its mild hybrid system. Both helping 7-12% in fuel efficiency. I think you could get the top of the line for less than 1.2M?
@@marcs4 Yes. Although it has been proven that Ertiga is a fuel saver even without the hybrid system, it gets 12.54km/l city driving on the hybrid model. I believe Yugatech made the review.

Seriously considering PHEV or EV, however, the cost of ownership is another deal breaker here... I guess it cost more if not almost the same as the ICE. It's even at every 10k to 20k km pms, while other ICE cars such as ford is already at yearly pms. So what's the cost benefit then? It's actually a pocket rocket hatchback 😅 not really much of a crossover ... Wouldn't have it any other way 👍 small enough to be easy to drive and park, spacious enough for daily use, quick enough for spirited driving, very efficient whatever drive mode and style you use 👍👍👍

IMHO the EL is the way to go. looking at the brochure, not much difference from the VE except the airbags and intelligent mobility. everything else can be added on the after market side.. (touch screen ,back up cam, reverse sensors, fog lights...) just my opinion✌
I’d take the 100k and upgrade that to a top of the line Alpine, Sony, Pioneer or Kenwood and have enough money for better speakers and an amp. I do wish more manufacturers come up with variants that have a base radio but with all the good stuff hard to find aftermarket such as push start and climate control
Epower has been in Japan since 2016 and there hasn't been any battery issues in their cars. Yes it could happen, but the possibility is very low. It's the same negativity that buyers had when computer boxes were first added to cars. Now computer boxes are present in every car.
You'll need the money from the fuel savings when it the time comes to replace the battery. Plus the cost of servicing the internal combustion engine. I don't see the point to this. But hey to each his own. Do extensive research first for the long term cost and everything. Happy motoring.
Finally a review of the base variant. Considering getting the kicks with Base variant because of the some random issues in NIM especially when raining. Edit: Topgear not doing proper research on the differences. The EL variant doesn't have Nissan's Intelligent mobility. It's only available in the VE and VL variants. Also, you can determine the difference because an EL variant has a fairly basic Nissan emblem/logo at the front, while the VE and VL variants have a somewhat 3d emblem/logo. I believe that is where the NIM sensor are located or near.
