I think an underrated funny moment is when the tank says "let me lead i can see them" and the evoker literally passes him lead. definitely made me chuckle a bit. @ 7:05

I am currently running these low dungeons as a freshly returned healer and it is such a bipolar experience. I did like 10-15 runs in the ~15 range over the weekend and it is the most stressful thing ever because in 50% of the groups people seem to actually actively try to prevent you from getting a timed run and you have to play your heart out trying to salvage these situations. But RARELY the stars align and one is blessed with 4 other semi capable people.
That's what we hope to find in our journeys starting this week!
Yeah ive been gearing alts recently.... tho tbf im doing 20-22s on my tank and dps(monk/hunter) and its just now finally starting to get consistently good. If shit rough we restart at 1 lower.... if shits REALLY rough we just disband xd but its way less often.
I decided a few weeks ago to try and learn to heal. If I was the healer in this key I would’ve left awhile ago to avoid a mental breakdown. I was cringing through the whine thing. Great content Metro!
Absolutely WILD ride for that poor guy.
I started gearing my tank in low m+ - and Brackenhide is really a keybreaker in 10-15 range. Yesterday, our glorious pug crusade in +12 BH ended at the first boss - no one used defensive cds or health pots at the start during gash frenzy, healer wasn't able to deal with it, but the most beautiful thing - our dps monk, who died while being Marked for butchery, was complaining that "aggro was on him". That was a pretty funny ending to the disastrous key.
Love stuff like that. Thinking they have aggro when its a boss fixate mechanic lol...
Can't wait to see some of it myself!
In the beginning of the second season I had a hunter in NL who died from facetanking add during Dargrul and tried blaming our tank. I am not sure we succeeded in convincing him that the add fixates on random player afterwards. And it was like +16, not +2. It always amuses me how some people do not even care to open dungeon journal before heading into mythic +

This is one of the wildest keys I have seen, and honestly its wild because these guys playing this poorly should have resulted in a disband. But they kept going and that is why it ended up being so complete in its hilarity.
But it makes you wonder what things would look like if every group that started a key finished that key too.
Would have sooo many more funny moments. But I guess them being more common would only make it less funny.

Ya, this is one of the funniest keys I have ever seen, but its only possible because no one leaves. That's the best part of it all! If more people stuck it out, we would have way more hilarity.

I must admit I had issues with those decaying surge swirlies, I actually couldn’t see any swirlies and was wondering what kept killing me, turns out it was some graphics setting I had turned down meant the swirlies didn’t appear. Which is really weird because I could see all other swirlies in raid with no issues.

Projected Textures being off makes mechanics like that not appear as clearly. But I was told it should be on by default since Dragonflight. Was that your issue?
i had the same issue back in bfa turns out projected textures were disabled and enabling it fixed the problem
@@heythereguysitsMetro can’t remember what setting it was, it may have been the projected textures one, but I definitely had no swirlies appearing for that ability and you would suddenly just get one shot.

@OneAzerothTV - something i only realized when carrying guildies, a lot of people cant see the swirlies in BH because of their graphics settings - i kept calling it out to them and had 2 people yelling back "it literally doesnt show up for me!" *boom dead*, they also played without mob HP/cast bars above enemies, so anytime a mob would fixate them (like BH) they would just be completely oblivious to the fact. crazy
Ya, "projected textures" but that used to be off by default, and it should be on by default now since Dragonflight.
Its a thing though, but still not really happening in the case of the bladestorm mechanic.
Is this similar for the spears in Neltharus? My partner gets speared every time and he's the healer. I've started shouting across the room at him when I notice the brown swirl under his hoof.
@@calamity0.o ya anything that shoots out and lands on the ground. It will only have that exaggerated swirl look of you have projected textures on. Otherwise it's just a dull circle with poorly defined limits. Make sure you have that on for sure.
@@calamity0.o I think the spears generally prioritize dps players unless one of them use an immunity beforehand, in which case a player can get 2x of them, or it will go on the tank or healer (same thing if a player would’ve been targeted but died beforehand) but I’m not 100% sure tbh
I did a 7 Vortex yesterday on my ratty fire mage alt, there was a BM hunter who only had 1 pet, didn't have beast cleave or muilti-shot talented and never pressed kill command once the entire dungeon. His highest damage ability was 105 casts of Barbed Shot. I was losing my fucking mind when I looked at his details breakdown after the run hahahaha, I wish I recorded it.

Every time i level up a new char before i force someone to send help for my mental sanity i go into some +5-10 keys to try wa and setup ui properly and im costantly reminded why democracy cant be a thing.

I do too, you can tell he was really upset with how things were going for him. But to fair, he made a lot of unforgivable mistakes too.
I've done keys with friends that took 40+ deaths, but that was always an active learning process and/or severe lack of gear. Nothing wrong with that. When you blame others for your mistakes and/or don't even attempt to learn from your mistakes that is a big problem.
I think the most egregious thing here is, all this stuff is SUPER obvious. If they even looked at it for a second they would know the mistakes. You can't really miss them. So that tells me that the confidence they had in that moment far exceeded the success rate they were having, and that is what makes low keys hard.
When mediocre players think they are good, you have very bad results.

I have absolutely no clue how these guys muster the courage to venture into dungeons they have absolutely no freaking clue about at +14. I mean seriously, watch a video, do the dungeon on +5 or something....
Reminds me of all of my VP runs while I was pugging for KSM. Always had at least 1 dps in the group who died to the lightning of the trash every single time and to the last boss aswell.
One of them even said it was his first time in the dungeon (at +14 mind you). I can't even...
That's pretty common to just walk into dungeons with no knowledge. Can't really expect casual players to be doing homework. But you should expect them to be able to learn on the fly and adapt to mistakes, which these guys fail at miserably.
In terms of more content, I am starting a new series on livestream today that will be searching for low keys just like this only, probably for the rest of the season.
I agree, its just too funny. I'm good on pushing for the season. Now's the time to laugh!

I always check out dungeons/raid before doing them on any higher difficulty, just to not make an absolute baboon out of myself and to not majorly f* up the group.
And yes I can totally understand dying to the lightnig (to stick with my example) once but you should really get it at the second or at least third time.

I just did my first mythic dungeon as unholy. It was brackenhide. It took like 15-20 minutes. I cant believe this guy can't see a big angry add swinging his big sword in a circle and then blames everyone else. Hilarious

Was doing a 21 Vp the other day. People who had timed it on a 20 didnt understand why last boss was killing them. They werent jumping for static cling and just getting one shotted. It was hilarious

I have a friend who in season 1 played mist. We managed to get him all the portals and KSH but he would die so much to the most random stuff, we had no idea how he could miss so many things. Turns out his graphic settings were so low, ground effects literally didnt appear....
Ya, projected textures was off. You can turn that on no matter that quality of your gfx card.Its meant to be on by default since dragonflight.

one of the best things ive ever seen in a low key (>20) is someone posting "avoidable [unnecessary] damage taken" meters in chat at the end of the game, and one of the dps had more than the rest of us combined including the tank who can afford to stand in stuff some times.
oh ya I have seen that a few times myself too. People look for answers to questions they don't fully understand, I find. Happens in raid a lot.

You can tell they are humans because they deny reality and refuse to admit mistakes and learn from them. An ape, for example, responds to stimuli with no bias and adapts to improve themselves. These fellas say "this must be a hard week."
This is why when you die on lower keys its super important to look at the death log on details and learnkng what killed you. Unfortunately people are doing 14s because they will never work on avoiding anything.

Wish people would just take a little time to learn the simple mechanics before trying to push keys. It would save them a lot of time lol
The real solution is simply do the research AFTER. Most of the game is obvious now-a-days, so if you don't have a lot of free time, you don't need to learn every single mechanic on every single trash.
You just record the run, look back at your deaths, or the otherwise problematic areas, and learn from what's on the screen.
Been preaching this for years, but obviously its a bit of extra work.
That's not even the problem here, it's people dying to the exact same mechanics AFTER they already saw them and could easily use common sense to avoid them the second time... and the third and the fourth and the fifth etc. Completely mind blowing.

Oh man, I am recording all of my keys, when I was gearing up in the 10-15 range a lot of the keys looked like this, wish I haven't deleted them :D But I remember same thing in brackenhide, all melee dying to trash before first boss, on every pack there was 6 deaths, and the dude who died the most always trashtalks everyone else, like it's the groups fault that he dies 5 times to completly avoidable mechanic or swirlie or whirlwind :D It was painful but I had fun there healing (as a healer you can see everyone's fuckups) :D
Or a dude in VP, on the big pack before first boss, 2 people got the debuff, I dispel one, healing the other and third one died to the big AoE around the mob, after that he said, "yo healer WHY DONT YOU DISPEL ME" and leaves :D I swear situations like this it's too much, the people don't have a clue that you have cooldown on dispel, they don't have a clue that you can't heal insta death, they don't even have a clue what they die to :D
The ratio of Clueless to Aggressive is something that I LOVE to measure on these players. Its my favorite thing about pugging.
Our tank in underrot last night must have had a macro that says a random joke after wipe...yeah...another dps immediately left.
The dh in my bh14 with all 20's cleared was dying like this. Every trash pull he'd do great dps for 5-10 seconds until the bladestorm dropped him. Every boss he died. He had all 20's cleared. We timed it with 28 seconds left. 29 deaths. He said he was trying his best.
My 447 healer partner runs my alts through lower stuff... I might not do as much damage with my low gear but I can end a run with 0 deaths and 26 minutes left on my food buff. Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one switching targets so a priority break out or totem doesn't go down quick enough.
We've also had way too many tanks pull bosses while people are dead. It's like they don't play with party frames. I swear tanks think this is a solo adventure and we are just npcs to support them.
A 447 druid can't save these people. At least they don't bother attempting to blame him.
Use your defensives people! Ya'll don't magically got the hp to bullrush just because your healer is geared.
Record the runs and send me the wild stuff that happens!
one thing to note is that you know the decay surge cast that goes off by the trash towards the end, if you dont have a particular graphic setting turned up, they actually dont appear for u! so although this group doesnt look like the most experienced, that part may actually be justified.. when the cast goes off it can literally just straight up be invisible and u just die to nothing, its ridiculous, ive had someone straight up question my io because i was dying to a cast i could not see
Projected textures is mandatory for sure. I was told it's now a default active option come dragonflight. Was that not the case for you?

@OneAzerothTV Ive been playing Ret pala this season and was routinely being 1shot by the green swirlies when i asked my friend on dc and he said there were green swirlies... turns out there was a graphics setting that was disabling the swirly animation for me, Weirdly not all swirlies were missing so i kinda get how people get hit by these specific green swirlies.

Yup, make sure you have "projected textures" on. Anything that shoots out from an enemy and lands on the ground requires it to be more defined. You can still see them without it though, it just looks WAY more obvious with it on.

I wish, if it was we would have so many more funny clips. I think the gameplay isn't that abnormal, but the talking certainly is what separates it. When the two most clueless players argue with each other, I get really excited.

@@heythereguysitsMetro not gonna lie when brackenhide was a thing, i would sometimes purposefully stand in the bladestom so i didnt have to move away from my target as a fury warrior. i would jsut press my wall and heal myself through it even on a 20 if it was tyranical. just way too greedy and lazy. i almost never actually died to it though which is why i just kept doing it.

Everyone always blame everyone else but themselves.
So many people doesn't even take 2 -3 seconds to look at their death log / death recap to see what actually killed them, or what led to them dying.
They just instantly release and hope to not die again.

Well you are right in general, but this is even worse than that. The DK KNOWS what kills him and just thinks he can't survive it for some reason.
Likely a visual issue one way or another, but if he could record the run and look back at it, he would hopefully see the mob casting the spells.

Gotta be a combination of really poor graphic settings, bad UI not showing him things are casting, and a general lack of awareness to be blaming the week or the dungeon on those deaths. Perfect storm of noob.

for some reason anything lower than 8s in s2 been like this... either clueless what their spec do or alt+f4 mid run. I don't do high key (I get my KSM and I'm all good) and I'm not anywhere near to be called a good player, but damn...

Not gonna lie, I'm 3k on my resto shaman and still don't know when good lust times are on most dungeons as I'm never the one hitting it and rarely pay attention to when it's out. Man, I need to do better haha!
As a hunter who does high key’s daily I always ask the tank where they would like lust.

Either way surely you wouldn't go the whole dungeon without using it right? That's the issue here. People who just won't lust unless they are told to.

Criticizing Shaman for asking about BL on 3rd boss seems unfair. At least he is bringing that up and remembered it this time, while it seems that Evoker doesn't even have a clue BL exists in his toolkit. But the streamer prefers to not mention it, apparently cuz Evoker is the guy who suggested the video.
Seems like you are misunderstanding what is happening there. I am very aware that there has been no bloodlust the whole dungeon, I mentioned it at the first boss. Obviously, everyone is at fault for that, including anyone who could have brought drums. That's not something I need to "mention" for people to understand the issue.
The more remarkable issue is that the Shaman is ASKING about it, despite it not being used by ANYONE the whole dungeon.
There is no "at least he is bringing it up." The fact that he thinks its okay to go that far into the dungeon without using the spell is a major issue.
In my eyes, its less offensive to just not pay attention to anything and never use the spell than ASK about it, get no response AND STILL NOT USE THE SPELL!? How can you possibly be defending that?

I'm happy it was finished for sure. If more keys like this would finish instead of disband we would have many more laughs, AND there would be much more learning. You'd never even see half these mistakes if they disbanded after the second boss while wiping on the left side like that.

Its SOOO similar to that key too. Less of a carry this time though, because no one in the key is really doing anything better than anyone else.
I some times go to low keys on my alts or just on my main because I'm bored and you get into groups like this and if you try and help or explain anything half the time you get flamed for being an elitist know it all or like your a moron that has no clue what you are talking about. It really is a different game some times.
Ya, that happens a LOT in that exact situation, that's why I stopped doing it. The people have weird defense mechanisms where if some one better than them statistically tries to tell them something they immediately get hostile.
So then you are basically in there with 4 people who dislike you helping them and now are essentially soloing the run.
Least fun thing in the game honestly, so I have just totally stopped doing low keys on my main.
Going to try to go incogneto and find a better way to do it starting this week.
this is the stereotypical group in low keys lol everyone trying to blame others saying its someone elses fault but then the "not anyone here you guys are all great, just saying in general that I am being held back by the rest of the playerbase not you guys for sure" meanwhile no one in the group has any awareness of what was really happening right in front of them lol.
I promise it is not "toxic" behavior to tell someone else theyre bad and give them the reason why and how to fix it.
