You may have to prime the fuel system through the diagnostic quick connect nipple fitting ( compucheck ) . A fuel canister that pushes 2 gallons of diesel fuel at 95 lbs. pressure .
I drove down rt 301 in ocala fl, came to a red light, truck then shutdown, i try and start it, it didn’t, it was cranking but wouldn’t start, I called in a tow 5 minutes before tow trucks arrival i came across this video, so i began to exactly do what the video suggested with priming engine and i shit you not it started right away, i still got the truck towed and now im at their yard to diagnose it, i didn’t feel safe driving further so im taking a hit on my checking account to hopefully fix whatever it maybe. Thanks. Its good to know these things for future reference.
I’m facing same issue and engine check light on with code MCM 174 0 ( my truck model frieghtliner cascadia 2019) is that something serious problem? Can I keep driving?

no, it does not come with electric fuel pump so does not matter,
