Spray some wd 40 in the hole while its running and then cover it with your thumb to create a vacume , may have to repeat , every 3 months . That valve just needs cleaning.

Have to be very careful doing that i broke a couple but iam pretty sure grote or some other supplier has a tool that spreads those pins with ease.I ran into a yard mechanic some years back who had that tool.

Code 27- probably one of coil springs is broken in clutch Code 64- shifter stucked at neutral. Code 71- is transmission fault by itself. When mechanics remove if clutch is really bad they will check shifter also , if you have to replace both it costs around 7500-8500$ . That’s painful process, takes time . Then mostly fault code 71 will gone . If not there is hidden problem on transmission . Good luck everyone

DOT in Indiana put me out of service for brake adjustment and ABS light. Paid $495 for roadside assistant to fix the brake adjustment then search for this video to find out the ABS issue was fuse F43. It is late to find the video but help greatly. Thank you.

i hate this truck! To mention, i got seated in the truck with 140,000 miles on it. Electronic features are garbage. 1st problem was climate control in the sleeper. Maintenance said that it is not just this truck, but every truck they have. So basically, i should expect to wake up shivering in the middle of the night because the heat decided to turn off. That it is literally every new Freightliner they own has this problem. But the worst is the steering. The truck tries to dive the trailer into other vehicles and construction barriers- Lane assist picks up imaginary lines in the road and tries to correct the steering. i haven’t found a way to turn it off. There is an off button but it doesn’t actually turn it off. At times i find myself fighting the steering control to put the trailer where i want it. I mentioned 142,000 miles on the truck and the transmission is garbage. 1st time driving the truck, pulled in the destination with a load and went to back in at the dock. Setup for a 90, put it in reverse and guess what. it was like riding one of those electric bulls at the cowboy bar.

My battery load shed comes on with interior comfort off. Is that OK?

What if my gcfi breaker would trip everytime the truck was in motion but now outlets don't work and gcfi switch won't reset no more and fix the issue ? Is there a fuse or something else possibly wrong ?

I had to turn on the "volt reader" after turning the truck master power off. I didn't realize the socket outlets required it to be on.

My dad did this he would cook steaks with mushrooms and onions. Can't remember alot of it but gourmet came off that turbskee! ❤

My company never explains anything. Been working there for years. They'll fix it and go back inside to bad mouth how stupid you must be for not knowing that. Just fall out the womb knowing everything and act like you're stupid. They wouldn't even need to put on their coat to go outside in the cold, if they would just explain what you just explained. The shops won't fix anything for you. First the technician are idiots and don't understand anything about these trucks, second, they will charge you for repairs that you don't need. Freightliner dealers are real crooks.
