  • This is a great tool for situations where you have a round or flat surface you can clamp down on to get a steady shot.
    I use it on my trail runs, as well as my mountain bike, to get those shots were gorilla pods and tripods struggle. It is 9.5 inches fully extended and collapses down quickly making transport a cinch. Because it’s small and relatively light, you can easily fit it in a bike pack or running vest.
    So if you are looking for a small durable clamp rig to get that unique shot perspective, then I highly recommend this SmallRig Clamp. This is a great addition to your vlogging gear setup. I have been using mine MTB and running in all kinds of scenarios and conditions, as well as in the studio, and I can’t say enough about it.

    Sage - another awesome gear tip video! I do have a gorilla clamp, but this little rig opens up new b-roll perspectives. Very cool. Btw watched the bloopers and glad to know I'm not the only one doing retakes lol! Thanks!

    Great presentation... liking the outtakes ... these are a handy way to get know people a bit better !! Was thinking about the gorilla pod then you mentioned and I can see why this mount has advantages but honestly, really slick presentational skills Sage (as always).

    I just picked up the jaws clamp for my GoPro recently bro. I may get this in the future. But for now I’m gonna rely on tree branches to hang the GoPro and get some nice B-Roll. LOL. Awesome review. The bloopers though... I do about 1000 takes whenever I’m sitting in front of the camera. 👍🏼🤣

    This clamp doesn’t hold good on a 2 inch pipe and do not like the grip power of this clamp
    A clamp with much better clamp power is ulanzi hold great on a 2 inch pipe

    • @TrailSage
      @TrailSage  2 года назад

      Yeah, 2 inches is probably on the limit of how far this clamp can go. I have never heard of the Ulanzi version, I will have to check that out. Thanks.
