Thanks for your demo! I found it to be very helpful. I already loved SmallRig items like camera cages, but just bought two clamps that I opened today. I'm very excited to go ahead and use mine this week for filming! Thanks for your help.
You’re welcome, thanks for the feedback.
I found this video very helpful. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful! 🙏
I enjoyed your smallrig clamp videos. Subbed.
Thanks for the sub!
Us small creatives got to stick together 😃
👍
when clamping for overhead shots on a cstand extension arm which one is suitable for job and what should be used with.
Either of the arm ones should be ok to hold small light things, I am not sure if the clamp is designed for holding a camera as such, I think it's more for lighter accessories.
"Mega cool", love it.
Thank you! 🙏
i keep buying these small rig ones .. they r just so amazing 🤩. i love clamps
😅
Excellent video! Would you happen to know if these smaller clamps fit tightly on an Autopole or Varipole? Thanks!
Thank you! I'm sorry I'm not sure of the answer to your question 😬.
I have a couple varipoles and the smallrig clamps are too small for them.
check out the ULANZI Super Clamp. that might work
I’m glad to see this review as I am awaiting delivery of one to mount my Insta360 one x2 to my wheelchair
Glad it was helpful 🙏
@@oddittydotco It did. Thank you for posting
I own a SmallRig clamp which I have used in the past. It worked well back then. I tried it again today and I had a serious issue with it. When I tighten the ball head, the tilt movement is locked but it still pans. It swivels around freely with the camera attached, despite being locked. So I could not use it for my photography project today. Actually, I can't use it at all like this. I might have to look at an alternative product.
🤔
@@oddittydotco Ive been playing around with this SmallRig clamp some more. It swivels pretty easily with a camera attached while the ball head is locked. Though it's a pretty light camera (only a Panasonic G7 with Samyang 12mm f2 lens.) With no camera attached, the pan movement seems to be locked. Have you experienced the swiveling issue yourself? I don't recall this happening when I first got it.
@@anzaeria no i haven’t had that happen
@@oddittydotco Oh! I was considering the Manfrotto super clamp but that is probably too heavy for my uses. Since the SmallRig is so cheap, maybe I could buy another one and hopefully have better long term luck with it.
7" and 11"
🧐
Don’t like the small rig clamp not enough holding power
Buy a ulanzi clamp work much better
Thanks for the feedback, will check it out.
the more interesting questions you have´nt answered is how much weight do they tolerate? When do they collapse.I´m obviously quiet tired of unintelligent people doing their payed product placement. This ad was not more informative than looking at aliexpress "very informative product pages".
It’s probably best to contact SmallRig for that information.
LOL, not that clever. Just copied Manfrotto. That's what the Chinese do - just copy :) That said, I have a few SmallRig products (cages etc) and they are quite well made.
🧐 I’ll have a look into the Manfrotto ones.
@@oddittydotco They're more expensive, but also more solid, and more versatile. They have interlocking pins too so you can lock one (or more) together for even more versatility. Oh, and made in Italy.
They sound great, I will Google them now! 😃
