    The Bushman Clairmont used to be my favorite selfie stick for 360 cameras but my #270 Backpack S is the one I always grab now.

    Cracking video again. Cheers. I been mounting 2 monopods end on end (previously 2 paint roller poles). Proper solid AF. Proper height adjust fittings I am used to. Even a small movement of the camera due to bend can ruin a good shot I find. I'm not convinced any of these extended sticks in your video will be good in this respect. Its fun mounting under a weather balloon on a fishing wire reel setup too! Can't fly drones anywhere we used to fly (safely) for years. So differnt things that create less noise and annoyance come in to play these days!

    Looking for Extended Selfie for Insta360 RD. Just wonder the 270Pro backpack S 1/4 base is it strong enough to hold on a suction mount at the back of the car with half or full extended without bending or damaging the base? Or use on super clamp on a mountain bike as example. thx

    • @EatSleep360
      @EatSleep360  2 года назад

      None of the selfie sticks have a strong enough thread to be mounted at a long length on a car really - there’s too much leverage and bounce. The best way is to have an additional mount which has an arm on it (like a manfrotto magic arm and super clamp) which braces the selfie stick and takes the strain off it. You don’t have to extend the stick very far to get that drone style shot.

    For the Insta360 One X2, is it possible to tighten the GoPro mount so tightly that the One X2 never falls over under any force? This is my biggest hesitation to upgrading from my Telesin next-gen 2.7m pole to the 270Pro, that the GoPro mount will slip under force and completely reveal the stick.

    • @EatSleep360
      @EatSleep360  2 года назад

      The bolts they use are really good and can be done up really tight because of the design. I personally prefer the new insta360 3m stick because it’s so much easier to change it to any length.

    • @kuanjuliu
      @kuanjuliu 2 года назад

      @@EatSleep360 Thanks so much for that detail. I can see how the Insta360 v2 stick can be more useful overall. I personally use their shortest 27 cm stick most frequently, so am appreciative of Insta360’s design decisions.
      In case you’re curious, the main use for these 3m-ish selfie sticks is for taking skiing videos of myself for review by instructors. Just the wind pushing back on the sticks means stiffness can be an issue (even for the Telesin v2) - however, since this isn’t for aesthetic purposes the lack of strict invisibility is not as urgent, as long as the picture remains stable.
      What does matter is that the thicker Insta360 v2’s base along with its rubbery grip is probably more secure when wearing thick ski gloves. I have to consciously hold on carefully to the Telesin v2 stick because it feels like it’s going to rotate and slip while the wind presses on the camera and I make hard turns and/or go over bumps. Skiing is the one use case where I think the thicker base of the Insta360 v2 stick may actually be a boon, not a detraction. Also, the shorter collapsed length of the Insta360 v2 fits the slimmer hydration-only ski backpacks better, like the Camelbak Zoid.
      In any event, thanks for all your videos. They’re really, really great!

      @@EatSleep360 so the new insta360 carbon wins over 270Pro Backpack? I bought the insta360 but I am a little suprised how rattling and moving the narrowest parts are when it is fully extended. When I am moving the fully extended stick with one RS camera left to right skyward position, I can literally see the top parts moving left/right... Does yours do the same?

  • @justwandermaya
    @justwandermaya Год назад

    can 270pro handle the weight of the One RS 1-inch 360 edition? Insta360 says they only recommend to 70cm on their 114cm Invisible Selfie Stick for that camera.
