    hey mate great vid, any issues with the Adblue system? looking at getting an Everest myself

    • @braydenhowie
      @braydenhowie  4 года назад

      Hey mate - nothing major. There's a common fault with AdBlue heat pump which also affected mine. Was replaced under warranty, and the car was fine to operate while the part was on order. I fill up once every 10-15,000km for a few dollars - it's on pump at a number of servos. I carry a plastic tank repair kit in the car in case of damage while off-road.

    Hi mate great video! Can i a couple of qs - are those the uneek forward points? Is your car post 2018, and if so did you have to drill an extra hole in the chassis to fit them?

    • @braydenhowie
      @braydenhowie  3 года назад

      Thanks mate. Yes they are the Uneek recovery points. My vehicle is MY17, and not sure if the chassis has changed in more recent models. I had them fitted along with the bar, but I'm pretty sure no holes were drilled for them.

    The footage is good the music is terrible. I'd rather hear some commentary on the track, car etc than that mix of lounge and 70s porn music! :-)
    I assume the 3 thumbs down either didn't like the music either or are Toyota drones hah!

      Haha! Being a 70s porn star would be a dream come true! Someone else pointed out the music too - I’ve tried to improve it on the most recent video. Let me know if I’m on the right track with that one. Thanks for the feedback

    What all mods have you done to the Everest?? I own one as well, and doing research as to where to put my money first....

    • @braydenhowie
      @braydenhowie  4 года назад

      I've done a few more since this vid. On here it has a 2in lift, 17in wheels and 32in tyres (you can go up to 33in without mods and still fit the spare underneath), front bar with winch and lights. I've since added a roof platform and uhf. What you do to yours depends entirely on what you want to use it for - the Everest is good modern platform for a number of use cases. I'd recommend the Ford Everest Club Australia Facebook page for heaps of useful info on mods.

    great driving, can you please list the mods? the front bumper/winch, suspecsion, any underbody protection (i am quite concerned about the adblue tank next to the L rear wheel being hit) thanks

    • @braydenhowie
      @braydenhowie  4 года назад +2

      Thanks mate. Mods are 2in lift on Fox shocks front and Tough Dog rear and BFG KO2 tyres. Bar is Uneek Crawler with the front bash plate. Winch is Drivetech 12000lb, and Stedi X-Pro lights. No further mods so far. I have scratches on the adblue tank so it has certainly scuffed rocks, but it’s quite flexible and so far no issues. I do carry a plastic tank repair kit as both the fuel tank and adblue tank are vulnerable. You can get a steel guard for the adblue, but I haven’t bothered.

      Hey mate! Looks like it does well! I just picked up a 2022 model (obviously pre the 3l model and big facelift) and didn’t realise the add blue tank was so low or there was absolutely no room for a bigger spare.. coming from a ranger that would fit a 34!
